Chapter 24

I woke up the next morning, thankfully my headache was gone.

I took a bath and put on some clothes and went to the lounge, my friends were there as the avengers were in another room.

"Hey." Ochako walked up to me. "What's going on?" I asked. "Well the Avengers didn't want us to be involved so they just pushed us out…" Ochako rubbed the back of her head. I narrowed my eyes.

"Did you hear anything?" I asked. "Just that Ultron killed Strucker and is working with some people called the Maximoff twins." Shoto revealed. I scowled at this. "And they think we're not already involved?" I asked in an angered tone

"Bakugo already tried to persuade them but…" Momo looked at the unconscious Bakugo on the couch. "Natasha did something and now he won't wake up." Okay, note to self, Don't mess with an assassin.

I marched to the room where the avengers were going through paper documents.

"Kid, you're awake." Tony looked up from his own folder. "Really, pushing us out of the room?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Told you he wouldn't be happy about it." Natasha commented to Steve who sighed.

"Izuku, look, this is not your fight-" "Not our fight?" I asked in anger. "Ultron made it our fight when he attacked us, if you're going after him then we're coming too." I glared at the team.

"Kid, this isn't school, people can die here." Tony tried to talk me out of this but I simply scoffed. "I know that and I don't care, I want to help and so do my friends, if you think you're gonna push us aside to go after the big metal overlord, you've got another thing coming." I crossed my arms.

"He has a warrior's spirit." Thor commented with a smile. Bruce sighed. "Kid, we can't go after Ultron and look after you kids at the same time."

"You don't have to, we can take care of ourselves." I assured the scientist. Steve looked at me and gave me a look, but this time, I didn't back down. "If you leave us here, we'll just follow you." I crossed my arms as well giving Cap a determined look.

"... Okay, fine." Steve sighed, rubbing his temple. "Remind you of anyone?" Natasha smirked.

I smiled, "Great, let me get the others."

I soon realized that they cut the scene where the Avengers were looking at Strucker's known associates, cause even with 12 of us looking. It took a while to find what we were looking for.

I sighed and looked at a paper and found a familiar face. "Wait, I know that person." Tony pointed at me, "This?" I handed him the folder. "Arms dealer, works off the South African coast, Black market."

Steve gave Tony a look. "I didn't sell him anything, there are conventions." Tony defended himself.

I chuckled at that. As Thor asked what was the brand on Ulysses's neck, Bruce looked through his computer.

"Wakanada.. Wa.. wa Wakanda." Bruce read the name, Steve and Tony looked at each other, "If he got that out of Wakanda." "I thought your father got the last of it."

"I don't understand, what comes out of Wakanda?" Momo asked, confused by the name, the two men looked at Cap's Shield, "The strongest metal on earth." Tony answered.

"If Ultron gets his hands on that then things will be harder." I frowned. "Where is he now?" Steve asked.

"I'll do a search, hopefully we'll head out soon." Tony got up and walked to start his searching.

Steve looked at us, "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. I nodded as my friends gave their confirmation.

"Okay… Suit up." Steve ordered as I left for my room to get my suit… Bakugo was still asleep… Needed him awake.

I was greeted with a punch to the face when I gave him a wet willy to wake him up… Worth it.

The flight to Africa was quiet and tense.

The quinjet was big enough for the 11 of us. Melissa had to stay behind, she had no powers and felt like she would only be a burden.

Bakugo adjusted his grenade gauntlets as Ochako put on her helmet, a replacement Melissa made.

I looked at Momo, "If you're thinking of learning the atomic structure of vibranium, don't." She looked at me surprised. "How did you know?" She asked.

"Momo, when we return and the word goes out that you are the only one that can make the strongest metal on this earth, then you'll be targeted." I put a hand on her shoulder. "Trust me." I whispered.

Momo thought about it for a while and nodded. "Okay, I promise I won't do it."

I nodded back and got up front to meet up with Tony, "Hey, sorry about my outburst." I apologized. "No, you were right, we should have thought about it more." Tony denied as he flew the jet.

"But I shouldn't have lost my temper." I countered. "From the way you looked last night, I can understand your pain." Tony kept his eyes forward.

I bit my lip. "Okay.." I walked back to join my friends.

We arrived an hour later.

Bruce stayed behind until the Code Green was given. Stark gave us some ear pieces so we could communicate with each other easier.

I pulled Ochako close. "Don't leave his side." I whispered looking at Banner, "Why?" Ochako asked, confused. "Just guard him please." Uraraka slowly nodded, "Okay."

I looked at the tanker and I could feel something coming from it. "Okay, Dekiru, Dynamight, Frost." Steve looked at us, "Come with me, Thor and Stark, we're going to try and catch them by surprise." He looked at the others. "The rest of you find vantage points and hide until we give the signal."

We went inside and traversed the dark ship quietly. I had to cover Bakugo's mouth before he complained and gave him a look that meant, Not now. He reluctantly followed the stealth approach. I could hear Ultron once we were getting close.

"DON'T COMPARE ME TO STARK!" Then a sicking spluch was heard as Ultron severed Klaue's arm. The Avenger Trinity went up behind Ultron and the twins. I took the left and Bakugo took the right, Todoroki was behind me.

"Aww Junior, you're gonna break your old man's heart." Iron Man landed in front of Thor and Cap.

I saw Pietro and Wanda Maximof behind Ultron, I clenched my fist.

"We don't have to break anything." Thor warned, "Clearly you never made an omelette." Ultron retorted.

"He beat me by one second." Tony commented. "Now's not the time." I said, aiming my hands at the twins.

Wanda looked at me and raised an eyebrow. "Bringing children into this?" She asked, the Sakovian accent thick… I had to admit I really liked it. Ugh not now!

"We volunteered." I responded. "Heh, funny isn't this like old times Stark?" Pietro asked, his words filled with venom.

"This was never my life." Tony denied. "You two can still walk away from this." Steve tried to persuade the twins.

"Oh we will." Wanda nodded. "Hopefully before you hurt others." I snarked, Pietro glared at me.

"Guaaa. Captain America, God's righteous man, thinking you can live without war." Bakugo growled as he aimed his hands at Ultron, I mouthed. "Standby." Bakugo gritted his teeth but complied.

"I can't physically throw up in my mouth." Ultron made a gesture. "If you believe in peace, let us keep it." Thor tried. "I think you're confusing peace with quiet." Ultron retorted.

"What you're suggesting isn't any better." I commented, Ultron looked at me with his glowing red robotic eyes.

"I don't expect someone like you to understand." I narrowed my eyes as Bakugo snarled.

"Yeah, what's the vibranium for?" Tony asked. "I'm glad you asked that, I wanted this time to explain my evil plan." As Ultron finished speaking, I shot an air bullet at his hand as he was about to pull Iron Man towards him, he instead pulled junk towards him.

Then, Chaos…

I ran towards the twins and launched black whip to restrain them. Pietro was able to slip past and punched me in the face. The tendrils around Wanda vanished.

Wanda ran off to hide, I growled in frustration, Pietro was faster than me, I couldn't deny that… But I was smarter.

I looked around and saw Thor, battling Ultron bots and shouted. "Pass!" I called. Thor looked at me for a moment before realizing my plan and had a mischievous smirk on his face as he threw his hammer to me, I caught it and threw it at a line of approaching bots, just as I suspected, Pietro tried to catch the hammer and was taken along for the ride.

I grinned as Thor called back his hammer, I then saw Wanda working her magic on Cap. I ran to help but was cut off by two bots tackling me. "Get off! GET THE GIRL!" I shouted into my ear piece.

Bakugo growled and looked around. "HEY!" He spotted Wanda using her powers on Natasha, he blasted his way towards her, but he was stopped in mid air by her powers. "What the hell?!" He struggled and Wanda forced him away.

Bakugo slammed against the wall and looked up to see her gone. "DAMN IT!" Bakugo cursed as he poked his ear piece. "Lost the witch." He growled.

Momo was supposed to provide cover in another vantage point but that wasn't what she was doing.

Momo with her new skills with guns and two pistols with actual bullets in hand, shot and weaved her way through the bots and made a bag, she took some of the vibranium that was left behind. She yelped as a bot was destroyed behind her and she looked up to see Shoto using his fire to hold off the robots. "You need to be more careful." He told her.

"Oh of course." She grabbed her guns and started to provide support.

I left the tanker and was tethering my way back to the quinjet.

"Uravity do you hear me?" I tried the coms but I couldn't hear anything. I growled and pushed it to 35%.

I landed and saw Ochako on the floor groaning. I knelt next to her, propping her up. "You okay?" I asked concerned, "Yeah… Banner.. He changed." I bit back a curse. "Okay… new plan.. Come on." I took her inside the jet and placed her on the seat.

I ran back outside and could feel something. I turned to the left and ran towards the growing feeling.

I found the twins resting closeby. Pietro looked at me and got ready to fight before I raised my hands in surrender.

"I'm not here to fight." I told them. "Hah, right." Pietro snarked. "I just want to know why."

Wanda looked at me with her hand on her head. "Why what?" She asked. "Why did you do that to Banner?" I asked with a frown.

"To tear apart the Avengers." Wanda got up and summoned her powers. "... You don't know what you might have caused, did you?" I asked, lowering my hands. "And what did we cause?" Pietro asked, crossing his arms.

I scoffed and turned around walking away. "Figure it out, if you'll excuse me, I have to keep civilians safe from YOUR mistakes!" I jumped away leaving the twins alone.

I jumped again, following the roars of the Hulk. I activated my coms. "This is Dekiru, I am in pursuit of the Hulk!" I saw him jumping towards the city. "I need support and fast! Dynamight, get your ass here now! You too Frost!"

I jumped and unleashed blackwhip and grabbed onto the Hulk pulling him back with 40% of my power.

I landed and the Hulk broke out of my tendrils. "Any chance you remember me?" I asked in a hopeful tone. The Hulk snorted and roared charging at me. "I guess not." I jumped out of the way and fired air bullets at the green guy.

"Kid, get out of here, I'll handle him!" I looked up to see Tony landing with his hulkbuster armor. "Wow… went all out huh?" I asked. "Listen to me, that little witch is messing with your mind, you're smarter than her, You're Bruce Banner!"

I facepalmed at that as the Hulk roared. "Right right, don't mention puny banner." Tony stepped back as the Hulk charged and was getting some hits in.

I watched, trying to find an opening, "Try and keep the Hulk here, away from the city!" I told Tony as the Hulk was trying to move towards the city. Damn it Wanda!

"DIE!" Bakugo instantly bombarded the Hulk with his gauntlet powered explosives, which only got the Hulk to get angrier.

"What's the plan?" I looked to the side to see Shoto and Momo coming up next to me, I was confused by the bag but I'll ask later.

"Shoto, I need you to encase the Hulk in ice." I ordered. "And Momo, I need you to make a sedative, one strong enough to affect him." I jumped into the fight while Iron man was repairing his arm and leg.

"RAHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Bakugo roared and blasted the Hulk. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" I jumped over the Hulk and descended at high speeds. "MANCHESTER SMASH!" I shouted as I kicked the Hulk over his head, trying to knock him out but he grabbed my leg and threw me away.

Shoto gritted his teeth as he tried to trap the Hulk but the beast was too strong and kept breaking out. Momo was looking through her arm pad to find a sedative strong enough to subdue the hulk… and find a way to administer it.

I kicked, punched and slammed into the Hulk, trying to knock sense into him, Iron man was trying to hold him.

I then realized that the ice was getting slower. Shoto!

I let Bakugo take my place as he kept blasting. I found Frostflame breathing heavily, his right side covered in ice. "Frost, talk to me." I held him as he attempted to heat himself up.

"Can't create ice… strong enough." I frowned and got an idea. I took a deep breath and activated FC. "Okay… I'm gonna do something, I need you to trust me on this." I looked at him.

Shoto looked at me and slowly nodded. "This might hurt." I placed my hand on his chest and forced the energy I had inside him. Shoto spassed from the energy.

I was about to say something but I felt a sharp pain in the back of my head. "DEKIRU!" Tony screamed, but just as he did, I held onto Shoto and used black whip to pull us out of the way.

Luckily enough since the Hulk smashed the spot where we were. "Fuck… wait…" I got up and looked at my hands… Danger sense?

"When you forced the energy out, I was able to activate the quirk in time." Hikage Shinomori spoke in my mind. I grinned and looked at Shoto who was rubbing his eyes in pain. "Hey you okay?" I asked, kneeling next to him.

He looked at me and I was surprised to see his eyes turn into a mixture of grey and blue. "I… feel strange." He spoke as he summoned his fire from his… right side?

"Frost... " My face was splitting into a wide grin as he could use fire and ice on both sides of his body. "Your quirk evolved!" I got up and offered a hand. "Ready to finish the job?" I asked.

Shoto looked at my hand and grabbed it, letting me hoist him up. "Get clear." His body turned colder as I smirked. "Dynamight! Stark, Clear the way!" I dashed towards Momo, who was farther away. "It's ready!" She called as she threw me a big metal syringe with green liquid.

I grabbed it and ran back.

Shoto closed his eyes and placed his hands on the floor. He felt his quirk becoming stronger than before, he wasn't limited to one side anymore. "Thank you Midoriya.." His eyes snapped open. "Heavenly Blizzard!" Ice shot out towards the Hulk and trapped him all the way up to his neck. The green beast roared and tried to break free.

"WHOA, SINCE WHEN COULD YOU DO THAT?!" Tony asked shocked, the left arm of the hulk buster missing.

"Just now." Shoto responded as he reinforced the ice. "DEKU! WHERE'S THAT STUPID SEDATIVE!" Bakugo demanded.

I leaped into the air, "HERE!" I landed on his head and stuck the syringe into his neck and injected the sedative.

The Hulk roared and shook his head. But soon, his eyes turned from blood shot red to normal green and he started to change back.

Shoto got up and started to head up the ice prison to get Banner out.

Iron man got out of his Hulkbuster armor. "Wow, you kids did it." Tony was actually amazed by how the boys handled themselves.

"Fucking witch." Bakugo growled. "Ultron is gone?" I asked. "Yeah and he took the vibranium." I sighed and rubbed my head. "At least we avoided an incident… Let's get back to the quinjet." I picked up a half naked Banner and I leaped back to the jet.

"Mr. Stark, may I have a word with you?" Momo asked through the coms.

Most of the Avengers were … out of it.

The ride to Barton's safe house was quiet. They needed time and Maria said that the public was not happy with them, even without the hulk rampage. So we needed to lay low for a bit.

This was a mess… At least Maria and Melissa were safe at the tower.

I looked at Cap, he was looking at his compass… the one with Peggy on it.

Shoto sat next to me. "What you did…" I looked at him as he spoke, "Did you do to her?" He pointed at Ochako who was sitting next to Natasha worried about her mentor.

I slowly nodded. "But this time it was on purpose." I whispered. "Keep it a secret for now." Shoto nodded in understanding.

I sighed as I rubbed the back of my head. Danger sense was a useful quirk, it helped when I had it activated, But then I realized something that the manga never covered. Sensory overload, if too much danger was happening at once, I would get it all. So I had to deactivate it to keep myself from getting a headache.

I looked at Tony and Steve, those two had issues… I needed to help but how… I closed my eyes.

… Wait… If I told them that I had visions from the mind stone… Might be a stretch but I could make it work with the right opportunity…

I gritted my teeth… Needed to put more thought into this.

"We're here." Barton announced.

A thought for later… now was time to rest.
