Chapter 26

With the things I knew of the MCU, I knew Vision's birth was crucial, but I couldn't really say I knew the future.

We were able to call a Quinjet to get back, somehow it had an auto pilot… I didn't really question it.

But we got back at night time. I yawned a bit as we flew. Ochako, who was next to me, gave me a concerned look. "When was the last time you slept?" She asked. I shrugged. "No idea… what's today?" I asked.

"Wednesday?" She responded. "Monday." I said, "But we have to get used to all nighters if we're gonna be heroes." I stretched to pop my joints.

Ochako couldn't help but yawn as well. "Yeah.." Momo was already napping in one of the seats.

"A hero, like the avengers?" Pietro who sat across from us asked, his sister Wanda next to him. "Yeah." I answered with a frown. "Why do you hate the avengers?" I asked the twins.

"Because of Stark." Wanda answered. "That's it?" I frowned, I thought there would be more. "You don't know anything about us, about what he did?" Pietro scowled.

"About what he did, or about what his weapons did." I raised an eyebrow. The twins looked at each other. "It's the same thing." Wanda crossed her arms.

"No, it's not." I retorted. "Let me ask you something, if someone shoots a gun to kill a person, who do you blame? The one who shot the bomb, or the manufacturer?" I leaned back waiting for an answer.

Pietro looked at his sister. "... The shooter." He answered momentarily. Wanda looked at me. "The shooter."

"Okay, so what exactly happened?" I asked, "Why do you blame Stark?" "... We were 13 when a shell collapsed our apartment, killing our parents but we survived. The bomb was sitting in our living room, it didn't go off, on the bomb, it had Stark's name." Pietro explained.

"... So who's to blame in that scenario, the one who shot the bomb in the first place, or the one who manufactured the bomb?" I asked them once again.

"If Stark hadn't made those weapons-" Wanda argued but I cut her off. "If Stark hadn't made those weapons then more people would be alive, right?" I looked at her. "But then other people would have made the weapons, and then you would hate that person."

Ochako looked at me worriedly. "Deku-" She reached out but I continued.

"War is a vicious cycle, one that isn't broken easily." I looked at the twins, "Stark found out that his weapons were being used for evil so he stopped making weapons." The twins looked surprised by this.

I laughed at their expressions. "You didn't know?" I asked. "N-no.. We assumed that the Iron man was just another weapon." Wanda frowned. I couldn't help but roll my eyes at their ignorance. "You were misguided, thinking the avengers were evil because of one man, you think they do this because of fame, no, they do this to help people, I want to be that kind of hero, one who can help people in need and beat the bad guy." I then pointed at them.

"And a while ago, that was you, you were too blinded by revenge to think of the consequences of your actions."

"And Ultron?" Pietro crossed his arms. "He made that machine." I glared at him, making him flinch.

"I have a theory about that, tell me, you warped the minds of 5 Avengers am I correct?" I asked. I didn't even let them answer as I started to count with my fingers.

"Captain America, Black Widow, Thor, Bruce Banner." I then counted the 5th. "Tony Stark." I finished, Ochako gasped and looked at Wanda. "You gave him a vision of his worst nightmare, to make him go through with making a peace keeping protocol. That turned into Ultron." I looked at Wanda who looked down in guilt.

"You pushed him, because of your hate, now that hate is harming others." I didn't mince my words as Wanda teared up.

"We had a reason!" Pietro got up angrily. "ONE THAT ISN'T EVEN VALID!" I got up screaming. "You wanted to hurt Stark for something he's trying to atone, you brainwashed the hulk and if we hadn't stopped him, innocents would have died!" I tore into them, not caring if I hurt their feelings but I was upset at how their minds worked.

Wanda covered her face in shame. Pietro looked away stubbornly, but I could tell, I did get to him.

"... I'm sorry for being so blunt, but you needed to hear it." I said softly as the rage left my body. "No… you're right, I'm sorry…" I felt horrible but.. I was holding it in for a long time. Ochako pulled me back to my seat, I woke Momo up who was looking at me worriedly.

Cap walked in, he looked at me, I avoided his gaze. "... I heard everything." He looked at the twins. "I'm sorry for your loss." He apologized. "But Izuku is right, Stark didn't kill your parents."

I looked at Steve as he had his back to me, how would I tell him and Steve about Bucky, I needed to do something about it.

I sighed. "How long until we get back to the tower?"

We arrived at the tower and we made our way to the lab as soon as we landed.

I rubbed my eyes as we entered the lab. "I'm only gonna say this once!" Steve warned.

The sounds of the room, the people, went silent. I couldn't hear anything but a low hum coming from the Mind Stone.

I felt it probing my mind as I gritted my teeth, why was this thing so interested in me…

I was snapped out of it as I was pushed out of the way by Ochako. I fell to the floor and saw Cap and Stark fighting.

I got up slowly, "Deku!" I looked up to see Ocahko helping me up, I groaned as my headache came back in full force.

"The cradle." I pleaded. Ochako looked at the cradle and took me to it. I put my hands on it and activated OFA.

Visions filled my mind once again, the events of Civil War, Cap and Stark were taking away Zemo in a jet. T'challa was next to them.

Thor and Professor Hulk! Alongside Valkyrie they were fighting Hela on Asgard with the help of Loki.

Thanos was fighting the Avengers in Wakanda, Vision was not in the picture, Stark and Rogers were fighting together, Spider-Man, Wanda, Black Panther, the Guardians, Thor wielding Strombreaker and Professor Hulk, Doctor Strange.

The Mad Titan was in full battle armor and his gauntlets had only the power and space stone.

I was suddenly pulled away by Banner as Thor stuck the cradle with his lightning.

My headache was gone and then the cradle broke open, a naked Vision emerged.

I watched as he rushed Thor and was thrown out of the lab.

I got up and ran with the rest of the avengers and my friends. Bakugo and Todoroki came out to see what the commotion was about.

I watched as Vision floated down. "I'm sorry, that was… Odd." He apologized as he created a cape.

"Thor, you helped create this?" Steve demanded. I was still recovering from the visions I had. "I have had a vision." Thor explained. "A whirlpool that sucks in all hope and life, and in the center was that." He points at the stone.

"What, the gem?" Bruce asked. "The mind stone, one of the six infinity stones, the greatest power in the universe, unparalleled in its destructive capabilities." I snorted at the description. My friends looked at the stone in awe.

"Then why would you-" Steve was about to ask, "Because Stark is right."

"Oh it's definitely the end times." Bruce muttered. "The avengers can't defeat Ultron." Thor said. "Not alone." Vision spoke.

"Why does your Vision sound like Jarvis?" Steve asked. "We reconfigured Jarvis' matrix, to create something new." Tony explained.

"I've had my fill of new." Steve commented, still on guard. Bakugo glared at the android. "Why don't we blast him?" Bakugo growled. "He's made of vibranium, it won't do much." I countered.

"You think I'm a child of Ultron." Jarvis stated. "You're not?" Steve asked, Vision looked back at him. "I'm not Ultron… I'm not Jarvis either.." The android looked at his creators.

"I looked into your head and saw annihilation." Wanda stepped forward. "Look again." Vision offered.

"Her sole approval means jack to me." Clint scoffed coming forward.

"Their powers, the horrors in our heads. Ultron himself, all came from the mind stone, and they're nothing to what the stone can unleash but with it on our side." Thor was cut off by Cap.

"Is it?" Steve questioned, "Are you… on our side?" Vision thought of it. "I don't think it's that simple."

"It is actually." I said finally speaking up. "Vision is supposed to be a protector… Am I right?" I asked the three geniuses.

"Correct." Tony answered. "So he's on the side of life, he will try and protect it in any way he can, so technically, he is on our side." I explained. "Mr. Midoriya is correct." I blinked as I looked at Vision. "Ultron is planning on destroying life, I cannot allow that."

"Then what's he waiting for?" Steve asked. "You." Vision responded.

"Where?" Bruce asked. "Sakovia." Clint and I answered. Everyone looked at me. "The mind stone showed me a lot… including where Ultron is." I explained. "He's got Nat there too." Clint added.

Bruce stepped forward. "If we're wrong about you… If you are the monster Ultron made you to be." He threatened, "What will you do?" Vision asked. Bruce didn't answer.

"I don't want to kill Ultron… He is unique, and he is in pain." Vision walked past Bruce. "But that pain will roll over the earth. So he must be destroyed."

"Every form he's built, every trace of his presence on the net." Vision continued. "We have to act now." Vision turned to face us. "And not one of us can do it without the other." He looked at Bakugo as he said this, Bakugo scoffed a bit.

"Maybe I am a monster." Vision looked at his hands. "I don't think I'd know if I were one." Tony looked down. "I'm not what you are, I'm not what you intended.. So there may be no way to make you trust me.. But we need to go." Vision picked up Thor's hammer and handed it to him.

I snorted at everyone's face of shock. I took out my phone and snapped a picture. Even with no signal, I wanted to keep this as a memory.

Thor slowly took the hammer as Vision walked off. "Alright.. Well done." Thor patted Stark's shoulder.

Everyone got out of their shock. "10 minutes, get what you need." Everyone dispersed to get ready. "Midoriya, Bakugo." Melissa called out. "Come with me." She and Stark walked to the elevator for us to follow.

I looked at my rival and we followed the two to the lab.

We entered to see a blanket covering some stuff on the table.

"Since you guys are going to be kicking a lot of robot butt." I chuckled at Melissa's wording. "Might as well be prepared." Melissa then threw the blanket off and I couldn't help my jaw dropping, Bakugo looked in shock.

"Thanks to Ms. Yaoyourozu, she convinced me to help make you new equipment with the vibranium she snatched." Tony smirked at our expressions.

On the table were a set of grenade gauntlets for Bakugo, instead of the dark green from before, they were now a shade of charcoal black and smaller. "These new explosive gauntlets hold 5 cartridges for your sweat." Melissa explained as Bakugo put them on. "You can use some finger gestures to switch the cartridges or use all of them at once." She made some gestures with her fingers as an example.

"Badass." Bakugo gave a mad grin as he moved his arms, feeling the gauntlets being lighter than the last one.

"And for you Mr. Midoriya, I see that you're missing a gauntlet." I looked at my bare hand. "Never fear, we have you covered." Tony presented me with two arm length gloves, they were the same but now instead of white it is obsidian black and the blue lines are now white, on the palms they were still blue.

I eagerly put them on and smiled as they felt amazing. "Mixed with titanium weave and mostly vibranium." Tony explained. "Next are your boots!" Melissa pushed them towards me, they looked the same but a bit lighter in shade. "Vibranium and steel!" I blinked as I lifted them. "Mostly the former." She winked.

"How did Momo get so much?" I asked. "She had to fight the bots off and hide them before we left Africa." I had to thank her later on.

"And last but not least~" Melissa was grinning widely as she went under the table and put a round shield on the table. I blinked as I looked at the design.

Instead of red, it was black, the white stayed the same, the star was a dark green. "I went with the design, plain metal doesn't suit your style." Tony explained.

I slowly took the shield and it felt similar to Steve's… but it wasn't Steve's, it was my own shield. "Melissa… Tony… I don't know what to say.." I looked at them. "Just don't break this one." Melissa glared lightly. "Right.." I sweatdropped at that.

"Oh and one more thing!" Melissa took a small pack and ran up behind me. "Hey what are you.. YEOWCH!" I jumped as Melissa stepped back. "When we get back I'll fix your costume, but whenever you need to put the shield away, the pack is magnetic so you can put it on your back."

"Heh… taking a lot of inspiration from Rogers?" Bakugo smirked. "Hey, Cap is awesome." I defended myself.

"Oh and your gauntlets can call back the shield, since you don't have practice on throwing the thing." I nodded with a wide grin. "Thanks guys." I looked at Melissa… Screw it.

I walked up next to Melissa and gave her a kiss on the cheek, Melissa gasped in surprise and blushed hard. "Thanks." I whispered. "Y-your welcome." Melissa stammered with a smile. Tony smirked and left the lab to get ready.

"Come on nerd, we got 5 minutes left." I nodded. "Right." "Oh boys, can you do one thing for me?" We looked at her. Melissa smirked, "Kick some Ultron ass for me."

I smirked back. "Will do Melissa. Will you be okay here?" I asked. "Don't worry about me, go save some lives." We left the lab to get at least a bite to eat before the battle.

We went back to the quinjet hangar, I already put on my new vibranium soles and we see Tony, Steve and Bruce talking. "Iron man is the one he's waiting for." Vision walked by with a comment. "That's true, he hates you the most." I laughed at that. "Burned." Bakugo smirked as the rest of our friends arrived.

"Whoa, amazing gear Deku!" Ochako beamed as she looked at my glove and new boots. "Thanks." I smiled. "Midoriya, is that?" Todoroki looked behind me, I took the shield and showed it to them.

"Yeah, it's the same as Cap's." I looked at Momo, I leaned in and kissed her cheek, Ochako looked on with jealousy. Momo blushed at my actions. "Thanks." I told her. "You're welcome." Momo smiled.

I looked at Steve and walked up to him with my shield in hand. "Cap." He looked at me and at the shield. "Shield bump?" I asked, shaking my shield.

Tony and Bruce looked at Cap. "Come on." I pegged and he gave in, taking his shield and lightly bumping it against mine. I grinned.

We entered the quinjet and Cap looked at all of us. "Ultron knows we're coming." Steve started. "Odds are we'll be riding into heavy fire and that's what we signed up for." I looked at the twins who looked to have a lot on their minds. "But the people of Sakovia, they didn't." I bit my lip and leaned against my seat.

"So our priority… is getting them out." Steve continued. "All they want is to live their lives in peace and that's not gonna happen today." I looked at my friends who listened intently.

Back home, we were heroes in training, but now… we were pros going to war.

"But we can do our best to protect them and we can get the job done." I got up and leaned against the wall. "We find out what Ultron's been building, we find Romanoff and we clear the field." I nodded.

"We need to keep the fight between us." Steve looked down for a moment before looking at me. "Ultron thinks… we're monsters… that we're what's wrong with the world." I scowled at that thought.

"This isn't about beating him… It's about protecting the people that need us." I smiled a bit. "Ultron is our mess and we need to fix it." Steve finished.

"... 10 out of 10 on great speeches Cap." I grinned. "Top of my head." Steve chuckled. "Let's go."

We dropped Thor and Bruce in the castle where Natasha was and we landed in the middle of the city to start evacuations.

The sun was rising slowly as we exited the jet. I walked in front of everyone and started to give orders.

"Pietro, go around, you're the fastest, get people's attention, tell them to get out of the city." I ordered the speedster who nodded and ran off at high speeds. I turned to his sister. "Wanda, use your powers to influence anyone on the higher floors to evacuate." Wanda nodded and ran to find a place to use her powers.

I looked at Cap who was smiling at me with amusement. "S-sorry I know it's-" "No no, keep going, you're on a roll." He smirked.

I bit my lip and turned to Stark, Vision and Bakugo. "I need you three in the air, see if you can spot Ultron or anything suspicious in the area." Bakugo scoffed and blasted off into the sky. Iron man turned to Steve. "Mini Cap." He teased and followed after my classmate.

Vision nodded at me and flew away.

"Steve, Clint, Uravity, Creati and Frostflame, you have to make sure the evacuation goes as swiftly and orderly as possible by the bridges. I don't want anyone getting trampled." I started to walk away. "What about you?" Ochako asked.

"I need to go around, I have a feeling something might happen and with my new sense of danger, I could find something." Cap nodded. "Let's go." I swung onto the rooftops and activated danger sense to try and see anything amiss.

I landed on a rooftop and looked at the small country of Sakovia. My mask receded as I took a deep breath.

Any moment, the storm would come. I heard a blast and I knew Bakugo landed behind me. "Nothing around here Nerd." He walked up next to me. "When will you call me by my hero name?" I asked. "Not in your life." He looked at the houses and at the people trying to evacuate. "What do you think that robot bastard has planned?" He asked me. "No idea, I'm just focused on getting the people to safety." I kneeled and looked as Wanda was using her powers to guide people.

"I don't trust them…" Bakugo glared at Wanda. "Why not?" I asked, "They betrayed Ultron to help us, they care about their people and their home."

Bakugo huffed and looked away.

My eyes widened as I shot up and my mask snapping over my face, danger sense going crazy. "Dynamight, get going." I ordered as I saw Ultron bots started to pop out of the concrete.

Without another word, Bakugo blasted down to destroy the robots.

"Guys, we have robots popping out of the floor, how's evac?" I asked as I jumped down and smashed a robot to pieces.

"Not finished, too many civilians!" Ochako exclaimed through coms. "Where are you?" I asked as I ran through the streets, using black whip to destroy any robot I came across.

I found Ochako and Momo fighting off robots as the people ran over the bridge. I joined in as I pulled a robot sneaking up on Momo towards me and used my shield to destroy it.

"Thank you." Momo smiled. "No problem, where's Frost?" I asked as Momo looked to her right, I followed her line of sight to see Shoto using ice blades to slice through the bots.

"Okay, we need to hurry-" I stopped as the ground started to shake. My eyes snapped to the bridge. "GET OFF THE BRIDGE!" I screamed at the people.

We helped the civilians off the bridge back into the rising ground. "What's happening?!" Ochako demanded in panic. I looked at the ground as we were rising.

"The… city is rising." I said as I looked around. "Get back!" I ordered the people. "Stay away from the ledge!"

Shoto ran up to us. "What's going on!?" He asked. I was about to answer but I was interrupted by a passing ultron bot who stopped to speak to us.

"Do you see?" We looked up at the bot. "The beauty of it… The inevitability." Momo raised her glock but I stopped her. "You rise only to fall."

"You avengers, you are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword and the earth will crack in the weight of your failures." Ultron monologue.

Deeper into the city, Bakugo stopped destroying the robots to listen. "Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me." Bakugo shouted and blasted the robot to pieces.

I stared at the bot with hate as he spoke. "It means nothing, when the dust settles, the only thing living in this world will be metal." I shot an air bullet destroying the flying bot.

"W-what do we do?" Ochako asked shakily. I turned to look at her. Ochako was pale as the city continued to rise. "We have to protect these people." I told her. "Midoriya's right." Shoto agreed.

"Incoming already came in." I heard cap from my coms, I knew the others did as well. "Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely, the rest of us have our mission, tear these things apart, you get hurt, hurt them back, you get killed, walk it off." Steve finished.

"Now you're speaking my language!" I swore Bakugo was grinning from his side. "Got it Cap." I said as I looked at the others. "Split up, try and get these people to safety." I ordered as Ochako grabbed a flying bot with her quirk and slammed it into the ground by increasing its gravity.

Ochako looked at me. "I'm not just a damsel, you heard the captain, tear these things apart!" I looked at Ochako and swore my heart skipped a beat.

"Right… I'm gonna go and help around, let's do this avengers!" I jumped deeper into the city with a grin on my face, I always wanted to say that!

I swung through the city while using the whips to destroy any bots close by.

"Avengers, we're leading civilians to the town hall." Steve spoke through the coms.

I landed and pushed to 35% and jumped into the air and found Cap.

I landed. "Hey." I greeted. "Things are getting bad, we're getting higher and I don't think we can get the city down." I told him, "Anything new?" Steve asked, looking at me. "Ultron made a lot of bodies and his main one is made of vibranium." I continued.

"So nothing new." He figured. I chuckled. "Nah." I took my shield out and threw it at an incoming Ultron bot and called it back with the magnet on my glove. "When we finish, I'll teach you how to do that properly." Steve muttered as I looked down the street to see Natasha.

"Rogers, Midoriya." I smiled. "Natasha." I greeted. "Is that my jacket?" Nat asked as Wanda came up behind us.

"She's with us." Steve told her. "Still doesn't explain the jacket." Nat stared at Wanda. "It looks good on her." I commented.

"Fighting these robots' getting us nowhere." Steve said as Clint ran up next to Nat handing her some of her weapons.

"Air's getting thin, we get any higher, people will start dropping." Clint commented. "We need a new plan." I mumbled. "There are people in the city still hiding." Wanda revealed.

"Pull them out, Barton." "I got her six." Clint and Wanda left.

"And our job?" Nat asked. "Fighting robots." I responded as Nat extended her batons.

"Today?" Pietro ran up to us with a severed robot arm. "You fight robots today?" He handed the arm to me. "Or is it next month?" I threw the arm away. "Don't get cocky Quicksilver." I told him.

"Quicksilver?" I walked up next to him. "Yeah, I thought it would fit you." I smirked as I swung away leaving the speedster thinking.

"Quicksilver… I like it." Pietro smirked and ran off.

"29!" Bakugo blasted another bot and made a mad dash for another one.

"30!" The explosive boy grinned savagely as he threw the head away.

Just then a whole batch of robots tied by black whips was deposited in front of him, all falling apart on impact.

Bakugo looked up as I smirked at him from a rooftop. "41." I said cheekily. "DAMN NERD, YOUR NOT GETTING MORE THEN ME!" Bakugo screamed as he blasted away to find more targets.

I laughed as I pulled a bot down and snapped his neck. "42~" I called, making him scream louder.

I loved messing with him.

I jumped to another legion of bot and pulled one close with black whip and bashed it with my new shield. It was lighter than the last one but I couldn't collapse it.

A loud roar cut through the air as the Hulk came crashing down and destroying robots right and left. I stepped back as he looked at me. I raised my hands.

"Umm No hard feelings?" I asked. Hulk growled and then huffed as he ran to find more robots.

… I was reminded of Bakugo for a moment there…

I shook my head as I ran to find my teammates.

I found them at the edge of the flying city.

Ochako was crushing the robots with her gravity quirk, wow… I never thought she could use it for something like that…

Momo was ammo for her rifle to cover Ochako, I landed next to them and threw my shield at the bots with 15% and the shield ripped through the bots like a hot knife through butter.

Steve and Natasha came up to us. "You kids okay?" Steve asked. "Yeah.." Ochako seemed out of breath. "Air's getting thin.." I realized as I called my shield back.

We helped civilians into the city hall.

I could see Shoto providing ice for people with injuries. I walked up to him. "You okay?" I asked. "Yeah."

"Doesn't this remind you of the entrance exam?" Ochako asked with a smile. "Yeah except the robots are actually trying to kill us." I muttered.

"Next wave is gonna hit any minute. What do you got Stark?" Steve asked. Bakugo came down out of breath.

"Well nothing great, maybe a way to blow up the city.. That'll keep it from impacting the surface if you guys can get clear.." Stark said over coms, Ochako looked up in horror. "What?" She got up. "That can't be all?!" She asked. I walked up to her. "No I don't think so, Anything else?" I demanded.

"Impact radius is getting bigger every second kid." Tony explained. "We're gonna have to make a choice." I looked down and then at my friends.

"Kid, these people are going nowhere." Nat told me. Steve was looking out at the horizon.

"If Stark finds a way to blow this rock." Steve cut her off. "Not until everyone's safe."

Bakugo looked at the civilians, he clenched his fist, he was beating the bad guys… but it wasn't a win. "Damn it." He cursed softly.

"Everyone up here versus everyone down there, there's no math." "We're not leaving this rock with one civilian on it." Steve protested.

"Yeah!" Ochako agreed. "We can still save these people!"

Natasha looked at her protégé and smiled softly. "I didn't say we should leave." Momo looked at her and then at the horizon, we were above the clouds, it was a beautiful scene.

Shoto walked up next to me. "So this is being a hero…" He muttered, "Yeah." I nodded.

"Where else am I gonna get a view like this?" Natasha smiled. "It is beautiful." Ochako muttered in awe.

"I'm inclined to agree with Romanoff." Melissa's voice came over the coms. "And it's about to get better." Fury's voice came up as well.

I watched as the helicarrier came up from under the clouds in all it's glory.

"Melissa?" I asked in surprise. "Come on guys, I'm not gonna sit out a battle like this, thank Fury for picking me up from the tower!"

Melissa was sitting in front of one of the consoles with a grin on her face. "I'll help out anyway I can!"

"I pulled the old girl out of mothballs with a couple of old friends, she's dusty but she'll do." Nick said as he was in the center of the whole operation.

"Fury you son of a bitch." Steve said in disbelief. I laughed as I saw everyone's faces light up with hope.

"Lifeboats are ready to deploy in three, two and go." Melissa spoke as the lifeboats came out of the helicarrier.

… I was gonna get a once in a lifetime shot at this. "Guys come close now!" I took out my phone.

"Midoriya?" Nat looked at me. "Just one picture, my sister is never gonna believe this!" I begged. "Deku, she'll believe anything you tell her." Bakugo rolled his eyes. "Come on!"

Steve sighed. "Fine.." I grinned as I positioned the camera just right to get everyone in frame and took the picture. "Perfect!" I looked at the picture and frowned, Pietro photobombed it. "Hey!" I called looking at the smirking speedster. "Couldn't help it." I rolled my eyes with a smile.

"Now let's get these people to safety!" I ordered as we got started to guide people to the lifeboats.

Just then, more Ultron bots came out and I lifted my shield to block it.

We were able to evacuate the people with ease as War Machine entered the battle.

Bakugo blasted more robots and smirked at me. "64!" He announced. I gave him a dull look and then launched black whip at more robots and slammed them into a building.

Bakugo's smug look turned blank as I smirked. "81." I said. "Shut up you nerd."

Ochako rolled her eyes as she tore apart another robot with her gravity control. "Boys…" She muttered, Momo hmphed in agreement shooting more robots out of the sky.

Then a wave of ice pierced through a wave of robots. Bakugo and I looked at Shoto who gave us a blank stare. "... 105." That smug bastard had a grin forming on his lips.

"I got it! Create a heat seal, I can supercharge the sphere from below!" Stark exclaimed as he flew through the sky, "Mr. Stark, you need to wait before you do that! If you do it now, then the debris will fall to the earth and kill people still close by. If we wait long enough we can make sure that any falling rocks will burn up before hitting the surface!" Melissa explained as she calculated the risks.

"Good plan! Thor did you hear?" Stark asked. "Then we need to protect the core, they're coming for it!" Thor said.

"Rhodey, get the rest of the people on board that carrier." "On it." "Avengers! Time to work for a living." Tony flew to the center of the city.

We made our way to the center, fighting robots on the way.

We arrived at the core and I saw everyone here, Vision, Thor, Iron man, Wanda, Pietro, Captain America, Hawkeye, Natasha just arrived. I couldn't help but grin behind my mask, we were avengers. I looked at my friends, Ochako had a staff in hand thanks to Momo who had two handguns. Shoto was heating himself up with his fire.

"Okay, what's the drill?" Natasha asked as she arrived. "This is the drill." Stark pointed at the core. "If Ultron gets a hand on the core we lose." Bakugo landed next to us as did the Hulk.

Ultron floated down. Bakugo stepped up. "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO TIN MAN!?" Bakugo asked… why…

Ultron raised his hand, a whole army of robots was coming closer. I let out a long and painful sigh. "You had to ask…" Me and Cap said at the same time.

"This is the best I can do, this is exactly what I wanted, all of you against all of me… how can you possibly hope to stop me?" I looked at Ultron challengingly. "Well.. Like the old man said." Tony started. I pushed OFA to 25%.

"Together."

Hulk roared as the bots charged at us. The Avengers formed a circle around us, we made sure the robots didn't come close to the core.

Arrows flew, repulsors were shot, bullets broke through metal, robot parts were flying through the air.

I shot air bullets for long range and punched those who came to close and bashed with my shield, Ochako crushed the robots with her quirk, Momo was shooting bot after bot and making ammo with her quirk, Bakugo blasted into the air and exploded robots that got too close, Shoto was using his fire to burn any incoming.

I swore I could hear the music of the avengers playing as we fought.

Soon, we dwindled the numbers and Vision tackled Ultron and used his mind beam to push Ultron out of the structure, Thor and Iron man joined as they shot lighting and beams at the robot, Shoto joined as he shot a torrent of fire that started to turn blue after a while.

Then they stopped, Shoto was cooling himself with his ice. "You know, with the benefit of hindsight-'' But Ultron was cut off by an upper cut from the Hulk.

I chuckled as I watched Vision go after the remaining bots.

"We need to get out of here, even I can tell the air is getting thinner." I agreed with Cap as I looked at Pietro… There was one last person to save…

I went off on my own to find the quinjet.

I searched for a while until I looked up and saw it. "No you don't." I tethered myself up a building and into the jet.

"... You." Ultron wasn't facing me, but he knew it was me. "Yeah, not gonna let you kill anyone." I walked over and pulled him off the pilot's seat and jumped out just in time for it to crash. I had the vibranium body of Ultron in my grip.

"You're naive… to think that humanity can survive without change." Ultron spoke.

I looked at him. "You caused so much death for a twisted version of peace." I muttered and placed my boot on the bot's chest. "The age of Ultron ends here." I pressed down and crushed the heart with 20% of my power.

I walked back to the core to find Wanda there. "What are you doing here?" Wanda asked in surprise. "Getting you out of here." I said, "We're almost at the altitude needed to blow this rock.

I looked at a still intact ultron bot and crushed it's head. "Let's go." I told her as I expanded the range of danger sense and didn't sense anything close by.

Wanda stared at me for a moment and then to the core. "... Alright." I picked her up. "What are you doing?!" I jumped from roof to roof as she quieted down.

We arrived in front of a lifeboat and put her down, Pietro ran up to us and looked at me with a glare but I paid no mind as I walked to the lifeboat. Tired.

I watched as the city of Sakovia exploded into smithereens from the safety of the helicarrier. I sighed and rubbed my aching head. I hope I made the right choices in this scenario.

"Hey kid." I looked up to see Natasha walking up to me. "Hey." I greeted. "How's Bruce?" I asked. "Good, changed back on his own surprisingly." Nat replied.

"That's a good thing right?" I asked. "Yeah it is." Nat looked at the destroyed city. "Anything like this happened in your world?" She asked. "Nope." I shook my head. "Where are the others?" I asked.

"Your friends are resting, I came here because Stark wanted us to head back to New York." I raised an eyebrow at that. "Why?" I asked. "Well our first big battle ended in Shawarma, so he thought he would make it a tradition." I slowly smiled.

"Make it a pizza also, I always wanted to try a New York Pizza." Nat smirked. "I'll let him know, get some rest, kid, you earned it." She got up and walked away.

I looked at the sky and smiled at the view. Rest sounded nice.
