A strange saver appeared in Morgana's life just shortly after she'd been captured by Sarrum. Yet the saver has her own agenda and Morgana find herself in the kingdom of ice, waiting to be married to someone that may break her wings forever. Merlin got caught into a story he'd never expected to be part of. He's forced to make decisions that would shape his own destiny.

If 2 World Wars weren't enough to bring Arthur back what could have possibly made him come back now? If you ask Morgana she'd try her best to rationalize something. He'd probably tell Arthur later that he'd felt extremely guilty about ruining his shirt, but in all honesty he barely considered it for a second. The prince had enough in his wardrobe, he could spare one to help Merlin make it halfway across the castle without bleeding out. (Set in s02e02. The assassin lurking in Arthur's chambers isn't so quick to let Merlin leave.)
