In this world, Katara and Zuko are raised traveling yearly to Ember Island, left to their own devices while their parents play politics. There are plenty of memories to be formed on the island coast—and falling in love comes all too easy. Sandcastles, stargazing, and surrender define their youth.

Azula seeks the throne once more. With the assistance of a forbidden water tribe experiment, she becomes stronger than ever, becoming one of the greatest threats the Avatar has ever faced. (This is the last time I try to rewrite this story)

Shang, a young non-bender living in what was once Republic City may be the world's only hope. History is written by the victor. Or at least that's what most people would have you believe. There is so much more hidden away behind other possible paths of destiny that are never seen. This is a tale where one chose to defy the spirits and fate itself in order to alter the course that was set before them. In doing so, the story goes on changing the fates of everyone involved.

They thought they knew what their destinies were: save the world, become Fire Lord, maybe fall in love along the way. But Destiny has a funny way of turning expectations into something you never dreamed possible. Maybe this story isn't the simple save the world and get the girl kind of tale. Maybe there's more to it than that. Maybe there can be more than one kind of happy ending.
