There is an old Durin's Day tradition that requires the dwarves to gather all their courage: eating Grandma Durin's fruitcake. Neither Thorin nor any of the other dwarves have ever met anybody who didn't want to run as far as possible at the prospect of having to eat Durin berry fruitcake.

After Bilbo falls from his pony, Thorin insists on the hobbit riding with him. Bilbo, of course, is very annoyed by something prodding him in the back as they ride. When he mentions that Thorin's belt buckle was annoying him to Fili and Kili, the boys, of course, laugh. Thus starts a journey of trying to discover what is so funny about belt buckles, along with a journey to love.

Belladonna Took is far from a respectable hobbit with Bilbo not falling far from the tree. His head full of adventures and tales places he longs to see. When a vision from Lord Elrond comes to pass Belladonna is forced to take Bilbo to a dragon for help changing his life forever. Years later when Thorin company comes to call it seems that maybe fate had a plan after all. (Thilbo)

The day Bilbo announced he was going to have a child all hell broke loose. Almost literally but not quite after all, thank Valar. The mess would've been awful to clean and Bilbo had cleaned more than his fair share off messes. (mpreg, Bagginshield, Kiliel, previously called Little Wonders)

First off, this isn't actually really about a Hobbit. Bilbo is just a side character. This is the second part of the story I wrote in 7th grade (The first part is called My Friends and Me in The Lord of the Rings, and guess where that's categorized) and this story just makes fun of The Hobbit through the use of what is basically stupid humor.

Kili rode the BMX bike racing circuit. He was pushing for a spot on the Chase BMX World Cup team and maybe the Olympics as well. But a drunk didn't make a turn - Kili never even saw the driver who crushed his spine. Fili is escaping an abusive relationship in Dublin. He didn't expect to meet a gorgeous Irishman whose family could give any prospective suitor second thoughts.

This is a modern romantic AU where Bilbo owns a flower shop and Thorin is an attorney. Their paths cross when Thorin needs a birthday gift for Dis. He's late, of course, and has no idea what to give her. Bilbo steps in to help him out and an attraction and a story is born.
