This is my take on the Linzin break up. The Air temple is not in this and the one who ends the relationship is Lin. I like this idea the most, so please give this story a shot and tell me what you think about it.

She's scrutinizing him with that same intimidating expression she gives all of her other soldiers. Except that Baatar wanted to visit the gym alone, without any company, and yet she managed to worm her way in and distract him just as always. Gym prompt. Baavira.

Korra and Asami visit Republic City's spirit portal together for the last time.

Another take on their Spirit World conversations. This one, starting right after they enter the portal. I weaved in some added scenes through flashbacks.

Korra is assertive, energetic, even brash, but there is one person who has come to know her in quieter moments and thus knows her better than anybody else. Korrasami, tracking the brief glimpses the show's creators gave us on the way to making their relationship canon.

Takes place within Civil Wars. Korra apologizes to her mother while they have tea together late at night. Somewhere in the middle of their conversation, Senna ends up putting her healing skills to the test thanks to Varrick. R/R

During is rough childhood in the streets, Mako has gotten used to hiding what he truly feels - it became automatic, engraved in his being, programmed in his system. So when Korra returns from her trip to the Spirit World, he realizes, he got used to the lies. For my damaged shipper feels, Mako-centric.

It's been 17 years since the Avatar Korra has passed away, and it's been 17 years of not knowing who the new avatar is. Believing the legend is dead the world will soon learn that the new avatar has been there the whole time, they just didn't know it.

"The first arms to hold Lin Beifong were not her mother's nor were they her father's. They were Aang's." A two shot exploration of Aang and Lin's relationship, from the first time he saw her to the last time she saw him. Old gaang featured and Linzin abound.

Set 3-4 years after the end of season 4, Tales of New Republic City is a collection of short stories exploring the growth and development of Republic City and its people as it builds itself from the rubble. The first story centers around Mako, but it will probably branch out from there afterwards. All canon pairings.
