Why did this have to happen? Why am I fighting my best friend for the sake of a village that would sooner see me dead than let me know of my own heritage? Not that these secrets could be kept from me but that doesn't matter now. All I can do is protect my friend courtesy of some rough treatment.

He stood across from me on the giant stone head of his ancestor, Madara Uchiha, the co-founder of our village whilst I stood on the other founder of our village, Hashirama Senju. we stood apart yet the chains of our bond were at its closest. In this valley a river separated us as well as the ravine, trees lined the grass edge that subsequently lined the river or atleast the bits that weren't cliff face.

We both knew what was to happen next but both us shared the singular solemn face of regret. I am a shinobi of the Village Hidden in the leaf and my best friend has just betrayed the village. It was my duty and mission to capture the last Uchiha.

"Naruto I'm sorry but this is the only way to kill Itachi in order to protect those I care about." Sasuke pleaded with me hoping I wouldn't raise the kunai I grabbed from its pouch. I took the risk of staring straight into the eyes of an uchiha one with a two tomoe sharingan no less. But to my surprise his eyes were not the glowing crimson of his clans dojutsu but instead the ebony eyes of my bestfriend reflected the building water in his eyes.

Before I could even consider my response I screamed across the valley and the world one phrase. "I will not let you sever our bond and be used by a criminal!" What I said was true the moment he fled we were enemies but this fight will decide whether it becomes a kill or be killed or if we can return to being comrades.

He looked down before looking back to me, his sharingan now active, quickly averting my gaze so that I wouldn't be placed under a genjutsu. We both drew our kunai both planning the next attack. I would launch multiple kunai to disturb his presence before sending in an army of shadow clones.

I began my plan and despite the attack going everything as I planned I didn't think about what to do after I sent in the hundred shadow clones who in a spectacle of brillant taijutsu were destroyed. Their memories, the weakness and strength of the shadow clone, sent back to me as I felt the pain of the attack that dispelled them but more importantly betrayed. Not the betrayal of the Last Uchiha but the betrayal granny Tsunade did by forcing me to fight my best friend. And the geezer despite knowing my pain better than anyone didn't even look concerned about my mental wellbeing. Damn them!

This increase in betrayal inevitably turned to hatred and hatred released the Nine tails demons chakra from the cage that confined it to me. The seal that cursed me to a life of hate the very hour I was born. My hatred was only increasing with each thought as a scarlet red cloak formed around me in the shape of a fox, whilst my canines elongated and my sapphire blue eyes morphed into a slitted crimson. Then tails began to form from the chakra cloak the most I've ever shown was one now I controlled four.

Sasukes face showed his fear as he realised this was the same power that allowed us to deal with Zabuza momichi and Haku Yuki resulting in the A ranks criminals capture. He held a gulp down in an attempt to steel his nerves but thanks to the nine tails I was able to sense his fear perfectly. He must see me like those damn villagers at the moment, if he believes I'm a monster then I'll show him one.

I launched off the head creating a crater where I was once standing flying directly to my target. Before Sasuke could even react despite his sharingan eye I punched him in the stomach hard into the skull of Madara shattering the top of the statue's head. Sasuke was hurt evident from the blood he spat out but he got back up and began weaving hand seals. "Fire Style: Great Fireball!"

I didn't even react to this attack not because I was stupid or unable to but I felt not sense of urgency or fear of the attack as. I watched my makeshift podium as it hit the tail I raised in front of me as a fireball exploded on the tail creating a cloud of smoke whilst launching me to the sky and although it stunned like picking up hot food it didn't deal any real damage. But my lack of concern of was quickly replaced by fear when I heard the chirping of a thousand birds as I saw my friend hand covered in crackling lighting lunge towards me I couldn't move in the position I was in so I moved a tail to protect me but when the infamous chidori hit the tail it pushed the tail back before finally piercing it and my shoulder before deactivating and his hand being withdrawn as he turned his body to launch me into the river below. I sent chakra to my feet so that I could stand on the water but wasn't quick enough as I submerged. I could see water evaporating the moment it made contact with my cloak.

Looking Up I saw Sasuke standing on the water looking down to try to see what I was doing. Knowing that swimming straight up to him I formed a quick seal and in a poof of smoke 4 shadow clones appeared. The one further up grabbed the hand of the one below him whilst the others did the same before being launched to the surface by the one at the top. Surprising Sasuke who jumped back without suffering any injuries but did begin undergoing his own transformation. His skin turned charcoal whilst hand-like wings grew out the back. However before he could do anything I was launched out the water by the sole remaining clone right in front of him whilst rearing a fist back aimed solely at his face. He reacted to this by putting his hands up to. Unfortunately for him this wasn't enough to stop my attack as it sent him flying into the Hashirama statue making it collapse into the river and sending a tidal wave towards me.

Jumping over the tidal wave landed in front of Sasuke seeing him clearly knocked out the chakra cloak began to retract revealing my burnt skin. I saw only black a moment later but before I was completely engulfed by the abyss I saw Kakashi our jonnin instructor arrive.

I was just defeated by Naruto the dead last and spectatulary at that. Despite this I feel only relief and well pain as I'm beginning to black out. I thought the way to strength was outside Konoha outside attachment yet I was defeated by the emobiedemnt of both things I threw to the side. Hell the last thing I saw was Naruto standing over me somehow even more wounded than I was but instead of pain he held his largest grin he's ever possessed. Maybe I can be an asset no, I need to be an asset for Konoha to make up for my betrayal whilst also protecting those close to me. My thoughts on my defeat could only end as the abyss overtook my consciousness. But what I saw next was far from expected.

A scream of agony awoke me from the stupor, quickly looking around I saw a battlefield. No Konoha turned into a battlefield. To my left was the Hokage tower and monument both in ruins. To my right were a couple destroyed homes but more importantly the mangled remains of all of the Konoha 12 minus Naruto. In desperation I frantically looked around my surroundings hoping to see the hyperactive blonde only to see my worst nightmare. Itachi Uchiha, the once pride of the clan before being its destroyer, was fighting the container of the Kyubi and the saviour of Konoha Naruto Uzumaki. I tried getting up to assist my friends but my legs and arms wouldn't move. Looking down I realised why they were all missing despite the agony I should be feeling none showed itself. Despite being heavily outmatched Naruto was winning and after an impossibly fast summersault he decapitated Itachi Uchiha, my brother.

I wanted to cheer and yell in that moment but the cold glare I received from my best friend sent my voice into oblivion as I could only watch as he went to each of the Konoha 12 and the moment he touched them they were magically healed. Once they were all healed they stared at me with contempt and hatred in their eyes, just like how Naruto suffers from the villagers, before turning their backs and leaving me saying only one word in unison. "Traitor."

Although despair overwhelmed all other emotions in my heart it was quickly joined by fear as a crumbling building. Despite it crashing into me I didn't find myself in the realm of the shinigami but instead a white plain hospitable room. That now contained an upright hyperventilating Uchiha. I looked desperately around hoping for some sort of evidence that what I saw was just a dream not reality but the only thing I saw was an amused Kakashi Hatake. Despite his mask over the few months we have known each other I could tell his emotions from the singular eye the cyclops showed. I could tell he was enjoying seeing me suffer but can I blame him? He gave me as many distractions as much support as I needed to get over my revenge and I ended up wounding my best friend. I looked down in shame, something that was picked up on by Kakashi.

"You regret your decisions don't you?" He asked in an amused voice but also curiously and slightly hopeful. I couldn't feel anything towards his usually annoying tone of voice but fear. Not at the Jonnin that was carefully observing me but the anxiety of what happened to my friends overwhelmed me. I even don't realise the fact that Im now clutching my hair as waves of tears fell from my face.

"Is Naruto and the others safe?" I asked between sobs, this question clearly caught Kakashi off guard but he was quick to respond by giving me a quick nod and an eye smile. Still not having the confirmation I needed to know whether or not Itachi is dead I asked a pretty dumb question as a follow up. "And Itachi?"

"Pretty sure he's still a missing nin. Are you still planning to go after him?" Kakashi asked in a surprisingly cautious voice I shook my head in response. He probably felt like this was a lie but I've finally realised the truth of my life. What is the point of getting revenge when I still have nothing left. In response to my thoughts Kakashi chuckled quickly realising that I was thinking aloud I sheepishly rubbed the back of my knowing I could have no other response.

"It seems you finally began to change, sadly it's likely too late." Kakashi said before standing up and walking out the room nearly slamming the door. What is he talking about too late? I try to get up and move to the door but an Anbu wearing a bear mask sunshines in front of me and points back towards the bed. Understanding the subtle and somehow blunt message I went back to bed where I was left to my known thoughts.

I expected to wake up to the white plain room of the hositiable but instead I woke up to the swushing of a swirling whirlpool. A second later my hand registered the feeling of a leaf despite standing on a cliff safely away from the thrashing whirlpool below and any tree. Every instinct in my body told me to jump, but the leaf felt as if it was increasing in weight pinning me to the ground as I stepped forward and weakened my grasp on the leaf roots shot out the ground bounding me to my place. The roots continued growing around my body, eventually completely covering me. I attempted to scream out for someone's help as it reached my head but the response was the plain white ceiling I was all too familiar with.

"Naruto you're awake!" I heard before being suffocated in a hug by a lavender jacket, eventually I heard an eep before being released from my second near death experience today. I looked around to see the relieved faces of most of the Konoha 12, as well as the suna siblings and each team's sensei, staring down at me. Despite it clearly being against protocol as evident by the raging granny in the corner the injured from our mission minus Neji and Choji were also present, they somehow had the largest relieved faces except Shikarmu who looked regretful.

"Shikarmu, don't look so down it's not like anyone died right?" If my bet was correct then no one was at death's door so this was a complete mission success. So why did he look so down-hearted?

"No. No one died but because of my strategy Neji and Choji got seriously injured." The lazy nara said between tears that now fled down his face escaping the cage that contained his feelings previously. I looked at him slightly disapprovingly before shaking my head at speaking.

"And who would have survived in Neji's and Choji's position? If you made a different decision we would have lost four friends or more, but instead you chose the best choice available to you at the moment and they won." I have no way of knowing what actually happened during the fights but I doubt anyone would have survived the opponent that crippled Neji, I can't say the same for Choji but he was the one with the highest chance of success in the circumstances.

"We were also lucky that the Suna nin arrived to support us before anyone remaining suffered any serious injury." Kiba barked before being silenced by everyone, giving the boy the deadliest death glare possible. Kiba gulped feeling the combined killer intent but fortunately was saved by Tsunade speaking up.

"Correct Naruto, now whilst this is unofficial I believe you are in the running for promotion to Chunin." I sprawn out of bed. Sadly this burst of energy was quickly shut down by Tsunade and Sakura pinning me back into my bed.

"You sure lord Hokage?" Asuma spoke up in a considerate but curious tone. Although I probably should have feeled insulted, I knew it was because he wasn't privy to my mission reports so I dropped it.

"Yes, despite what you might think on mission he has a good strategic head coming up with strategies that caught Zabuza Momichi off guard, not only that but his attitude has begun significantly improving he started showing genuine seriousness in mission." Everyone turned to Sakura who gave an approving nod. "Additionally he defeated a tailed beast despite being only around 6 months out of the academy this achievement alone makes him deserving of a Chunnin rank whilst also deserving the title of prodigy for mastering the Rasengan in less that 6 weeks." When she finished everyone looked at me with their jaws dropped, my only defence was a sheepish hand rub.

A moment later an anbu wearing a hawk mask appeared next to Tsunade whispering something into her ear before backing away to give her some space. Tsunade gave me one final look before saying her goodbyes. When she left the room the anbu stepped forward again looking directly at me, his body posture was a little tense even for an anbu. "Naruto Uzumaki, your presence is requested in the Hokage office by the acting Hokage." The anbu said in a reluctant tone before turning to everyone else in the room. " I recommend you all go to the Hokage office as well. But you are not to speak." with that final message the anbu sunshined out the room. Everyone sensed the gloominess but before any conversation began I got out of bed nearly collapsing but was caught by the now appeared Kakashi Hatake who was giving me a smile.

"I received the same message, let's go together shall we." Lifting my arm around his neck he assisted me in walking towards the Hokage tower. When we got to the street the same old thing happened.

"Hey isn't that the Kybubi brat?"

"Yeah I wish he just died, worse still he critically wounded the last Uchiha how evil can that demon be."

"He deserves to be punished by lord third."

"Yeah, I can't understand why Lady Tsunade treats that demon so well." Was the final sentence ushered by the multitudes of villagers before being silenced by the killer intent of my party.

"Naruto, how can you put up with that?" Sakura asked in a meek and depressed voice. At first I was unsure what she was talking about before looking back to see where everyone was staring, tracing their stares I saw the terrified and resentful villagers and pieced everything together.

"I'm used to it, kinda have to after 14 years of it." I deadpanned everyone looked as if they wanted to say something in response but held their tongues. I wondered why but figured I shouldn't push their emotional boundaries considering all of them looked ready to commit treason. If what I think is about to happen does then this might get ugly.

After around an hour of walking we finally reached the Hokage tower and for the first time in my life the deep red tower looked foreboding which wasn't helped by the grey storm clouds in the sky. We walked through the tower each shinobi we passed having a saddened face, eventually we reached the door to the hokage office and with a heavy breath I opened it revealing the previous Hokage Hiruzen Saurtobi behind the Hokage desk.

"You summoned me,Acting Hokage." Despite the fact that much of my suffering could be traced back to the third, I can only feel warmth when I see him, especially since learning of Orochimaru's plans during the Chunin exams that would have certainly led to the geezers death. But thankfully upon learning that pervy sage would be with the third pulled out without alerting the sand leading to a one sided slaughter of the sand shinobi.

"Yes Naruto I have something very important to tell you." The old man said whilst eyeing my party. With a sigh he continued. " Today a council meeting occurred about whether or not you deserved the rank of chunin but this quickly collapsed as to whether you should be banished or not." Hiruzen stated in a reluctant and regretful voice. As I thought this was likely the reason for my summoning but why was he regretful. Next thing I knew I felt a massive wave of killing intent, one especially demonic, quickly realising what was happening I turned and motioned for them to stop.

"Don't worry guys, I knew this day would come eventually. Just means one of you will have to become Hokage for me!" I exclaimed with my iconic foxy grin seemingly elevating some of their worries before instantly realising what I said causing mass gasps. Turning away from them I turned to the acting Hokage who was fighting back tears.

"May I ask lord third who voted for me to be expelled." I didn't expect an answer but I still received one.

"The civilian council, the elders, reluctantly the Hyuga clan apparently forced Hiashi's hand and since the uchiha and Sarutobi heads couldn't or didn't show. The vote aiming for the banishment of Naruto Uzumaki won." I expected most of the players who did vote against me except the Hyuga clans but that's fine Hiruzen let one thing slip which I can latch onto to make the best of this horrible position.

"I understand before I'm officially banished, may I ask a few important questions?" I quickly responded, my friends not being able to comprehend behind me still wide jawed.

"You may." Perfect the exact response I needed.

"Banishment is permanent and unretractable right?"

"Sadly yes."

"I presume the clan head of the Uchiha is Sasuke Uchiha correct?" I need this to be answered in the positive for my plan to formulate.

"Correct." Hiruzen said, his eyes subconsciously narrowing, wondering where I'm going with this.

"Then by right, I'm the head of my parents' clans, for example the Uzumaki clan within Konoha, correct?" Hiruzen seemed to have released an inner staring with slight pride at me. I ignored the stunned expression from my friends who just learnt I was a part of a clan. And a bewildered expression from those who knew of my heritage and quietly waited for a response.

"Correct." He finally started to piece it together, taking a little too long gramps.

"By Konoha law if the last surviving member of a clan is expelled, so is the clan, correct?"

"Naruto, what are you planning?" He avoided the question. It seems he's finally realised what I'm doing.

"Please answer the question, Lord Hokage." Hiruzen let out a deep breath before responding.

"Correct."

"Then as clan head of the Namikaze and Uzumaki clan I, Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, hereby lay complete claim on all jutsu, techniques or assets that belong to both clans. However as a last sign of good will I will allow all of the jutsu and techniques to be copied by Konoha although the Namikaze and Uzumaki clans both still lay claim to these copies." Everyone was stunned into silence. It seemed everyone finally connected me to Minato Namikaze and realised I was the legacy of the village's hero. Kakashi seemed enraged the most about this as although he had his suspicions decided that it was likely a fake name given to me but with the confirmation realised he's been lied to and watched as his teachers legacy suffered.

"Naruto, although it is your right, and you have been most generous by letting us make copies, we can not let such powerful techniques fall to a single person for village security I'm sure you understand." Hiruzen let out in an already defeated tone it was clear he was only doing this for formalities sake rather than thinking it would stop me. Kakashi looked like he was ready to blow, which scared everyone behind me.

"I'm being more than generous for a village that wears our clan symbol that chose to abandon my clan when Uzu was attacked, choosing instead to fight at a more rewarding time. Leaving my clan to its near destruction and if the rumours I heard in waves are true it was a leaf shinobi that leaked its defences. Not only that despite abandoning my clan and forsaking your alliance with us, we still honour it with the seals this village uses. Be happy that I'm not removing the protective barrier that surrounds this village as well as others." I was bluntly honest if Hiruzen did keep pushing I'd do exactly that, although I've kept it hidden as a last resort the moment I learnt of my heritage in the library I immediately began learning fuinjutsu. Sadly I'm not good at creating seals but excellent at breaking them.

Flashback

Why does everyone refuse to tell me who my parents are? Even old man Hokage refuses to tell me. I expected they would tell me the moment I became a shinobi but still got nothing. If that's the case then I'll just have to steal it. The hospital must have records for any possible medical history so if I infiltrate them and retrieve mine I will learn everything. I reached a blue steel door labelled records, guarded by two anbu one wearing a tiger mask whilst the other wore a seal mask. Pulling out a stink bomb I aimed where I wanted to throw it before crossing my fingers to create the seals I learnt a few weeks ago in order to become a gennin. A moment later a shadow clone appeared next to me I handed the clone the stink bomb and had it act as a distraction to the guards whilst I moved for the target. The plan went perfectly after being hit by the bomb both anbu chased my shadow clone through the hospital giving me the perfect opportunity to sneak in.

Inside I found dozens of draws that were each labelled with a different letter looking for u I eventually found it and opened the navy grey draw. Inside were hundreds of folders categorised by letter looking for n I eventually found my own folder and the near category worthy medical history to go with it thanks to the treatment from the villagers. I saw at the top my name and the damaged picture as if stabbed by a scalpel underneath my name. It contained two parts, Kushina Uzumaki and classified.

Deciding to see if I could find these Kushina Uzumaki files I discovered it a few minutes later. To my surprise it contains information about a bloodline; access to extreme levels of chakra, chakra chains, and possible dojutsu although unknown name, longevity and immunity to diseases, potentially more Uzumaki's are tight lipped about their bloodline. So that explains a lot considering my life of issues. In one of the doctor's notes it talks about the woman's husband and eventually naming him. Minato Namikaze is the fourth Hokage and my idol is my father you're kidding me. I've never felt so much happiness. But the footsteps of the returning anbu quickly meant I had to flee, returning everything back to the areas I should be. I quickly left.

Flashback end

"Fine you may have your birthright Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze." Hiruzen said with a wave of his hand. He turned to the fuming Kakashi before turning back to me. "Your official expulsion will happen three days from now in front of a public occasion, most of the population will be there."

"Lord Hokage, I would like to tender my resignation from the Konoha shinobi forces." Kakashi angrily exclaimed he took off his headband and moved to hand it to Hiruzen. I stepped in front of him, if he does this it would destroy my fathers legacy, something I cannot allow.

"Please honour my fathers wishes Kakashi it will make this situation better for me please, I need you to be allowed to protect my friends for me." I pleaded. Kakashi still looked mad but was now very conflicted. He kept looking at his headband then at me constantly changing. Eventually sighing and backing away, tying his headband around his head again and stepping back. I turn back to the acting hokage and bow. "Is there anything else, lord Hokage?" Hiruzens shakes his head, leading to me making a hasty exit. I expected the others to follow but they all stayed behind, deciding to wait outside the Hokage tower for their eventual questions.

Hiruzen's pov

This is about to become real painful, I was praying they would follow Naruto out but instead it seems they will fight me on this. Letting out a sigh I mentally prepared myself for the oncoming onslaught. I eyed each of them all more enraged than the last but this was something I knew would come, I just have to thank Naruto for keeping Kakashi a ninja of the Leaf. "Let's hear it." Why did I use those words? It makes their complaints sound unjustified damnit Hiruzen.

"Let's start with why?" Shikarmu asked, in a cold voice removed from emotion itself, before the others the laziness burned away by the hatred.

"Because the village can't understand the difference between a kunai and a storage scroll that contains it." I responded weakly hoping to lure them into giving up early.

"He's a shinobi, that's something only the shinobi council can decide, so why was the civilian council voting?" Asuma asked in an irritated voice, for once he wasn't even smoking since he crushed the cigarette in his hands before he could light it.

"They strong armed their way in." I attempted to shrug it off but this backfired as the shinobi in front of me became even more enraged.

"I believe you still haven't answered my question, Lord Hokage." Shikamaru responded in the same cold voice as before, sending brief chills down my spine. I sighed knowing I would have to answer.

"Because he's the jinjuriki of the Nine tails, meaning he has the nine tails sealed within him." I exclaimed, already exhausted from having to deal with Naruto. All of the shinobi minus a few seemed to realise why everyone hated him now but this enraged them even more. Kami dammit can I deescalate the situation at least a little.

"I don't want this as much as you all but my hands are tied. I can do one last thing for him by having all of you be his escorts to outside our border." They seemed to calm down enough to agree to my plea but still seemed unhappy. They each left the room, none of them saying a word to me which slightly amused me but also made me feel great shame for my actions.

I'm sorry Minato, Kushina. I hope both of you will be merciless in the afterlife.

END POV

Seeing my friends come out of the Hokage tower with their headbands still on was a slight surprise but a welcome one. Despite the fact that this village treats me like trash I still find my loyalty here. It is my home afterall even if I'm unwelcomed. They each had tears swelling in their eyes minus a few, these being Asuma and Kurenai. I smiled glad to know that they care for me but it didn't last long.

"Naruto" Hinata started but her voice choked due to the sobbing. I looked at the others but could tell none of them were faring any better.

"I will continue serving Konoha even if they dont want me. After all, my friends are here." I said with a smile. I was hoping to get this over with but the tackle I got from Hinata threw that thought out of my head instantly eventually the other joined the hug which lasted around 10 seconds going by how much breath I lost.

"Why are you sacrificing so much for us?" Sakura asked sheepishly. " I mean many of us could easily be considered as enemies yet you always looked past it." I looked at her with an emotionless face that now became my default facial expression.

I shrugged before responding " Because what else did I have. My clans are extinct, the village I should have grown up in was betrayed and yet my family still remained loyal to Konoha despite its betrayal." I was going to be blunt with them. "You were all there at some point in my life when I needed you, and the Uzumaki has a phrase similar to the 'will of fire', may the whirlpool guide."

"Still this isn't fair you were, are loyal to Konoha and yet they're throwing you to the wolves like this it isn't right." I shrugged indifferently towards Inos statement. The others seemed taken aback from my lack of a reaction to the whole situation.

"Naruto you don't seem bothered by this at all, are you sure you're as loyal as you say?" I shrugged again not because I was indifferent this time but was just unsure of what to say. I would still fight for Konoha but I would only die for my friends. And I'm not bothered by this because well I always knew it was coming.

"This isn't their first time trying to get me banished. They tried after the suna invasion claiming I lost control of the nine tails but I won that debate once I revealed it was Gambabunta transformed into the nine tails not the nine tails itself." I once again looked indifferent. I was aware of the sudden personality change which took everyone off guard but no one seemed to be willing to speak about it.

"You're wondering what happened to the happy go lucky Naruto aren't you?" getting nods from everyone. "Sadly that is only a mask, this is my true personality, an indifferent blonde sorry to disappoint." I said if my now infamous shrug.

"Anything else you're hiding?" Kiba joked. I looked at him and nodded, which got a stunned reaction from him.

"I'm mediocre at fuinjutsu. And can control six tails worth of the nine tails power thanks to me befriending them." I said in a slight resigned voice. Kakashi and Sakura looked at me as if I dropped a bombshell on them.

"Why did you never tell us?" Kakashi and Sakura asked in unison.

"Because I didn't want them thinking I knew my heritage although I probably should have claimed my heritage sooner. Maybe I'll be able to do the hiraishin by now." I said once again with a shrug. I put my hand up as if silencing any further attempts to talk. "Sorry for cutting this short but I've got to get my belongings and claims together." I followed up before heading back into the Hokage tower.

I walked through the tower seeing Tsunade storm into the office. I should probably wait outside deciding it would be best to wait opposite the door I started walking over there fortunately before I reached the wall the Hokage desk went flying through the door and wall. A moment later a furious roar was heard from inside the room as Tsunade held Hiruzen by the collar arm pulled back for a punch. "Lady Tsunade please stop!" I quickly shouted in order to save the suicidal old fool.

"Naruto" Her voice motherly as if seeing her lost child for the first time in years. I bowed to my Hokage before being picked up in a bear hug. Eventually I was dropped to the ground only now realising multiple ribs were broken in the warming attack. "I was teaching this idiot that it was the wrong choice to expel you." She said that with extra venom in her voice.

"Forgive me lady Tsunade but I want to get business and preparations for the banishment of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans from Konoha." Tsunade was stunned by my serious tone and the fact I name dropped the Namikaze clan, it seems she wasn't aware of my heritage.

"Forgive me Lady Tsunade but I must reintroduce myself, I am Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze Clan Head of the Uzumaki Namikaze clans." I finished with a small bow.

Biting her tongue she nodded before sitting down behind where her desk should be. "So how may I help you Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze?" I smiled at hearing my full name come from her before reentering my emotionless face.

"I would like the Hirashin and all Uzumaki techniques in the scroll of sealing as well as all the clan's wealth transferred over to my personal account. Additionally I want all copies of the clans techniques. Furthermore due to the continual discrediting and neglect of the Treaty of the Green Swirl I demand for the swirl of the Uzumaki to be removed from all Konoha shinobi uniforms. As a final respect to the treaty, I will give you one year to create a suitable replacement to the barrier that protects Konoha unless the Uzumaki gains our descendents jutsu and techniques as well." I finished listing my demands knowing that they will be followed. The ultimatum was one that couldn't be ignored after all they rely on that barrier far too much.

"I am fine with granting all requests including the last one, I do not believe any seal master alive today is capable of replicating the barrier protecting Konoha so im willing to give you copies of the descendants jutsu and techniques. So who are these descendants?" Tsunade said with a slight frown knowing she just accepted a lot of demands and likely one she was going to regret.

"The Senju and Uchiha clans." I said to the bewilderment of Tsunade and Hirezun who both were doing very intricate impressions of fish. "To explain when the Sage of Six Paths had children he had three not two like the Uchiha and Senju believe. This is because the third distanced themselves from the legacy of the Six Paths. This last child claimed the family name of the mother of the children as his family name, this being Uzumaki. Whilst the other claimed Uchiha and Senju wanting to surpass the Six Paths. The Uzumaki cared only for themselves and those close to them." I finished my speech skipping multiple points. Tsunade and Hiruzen seemed puzzled by something.

"How did you learn of this?" Both asked with a sceptical voice which makes sense. I effectively turned their world upside down in a single lecture.

"When I would run from the death squads I mean mobs on my birthdays I discovered the old Uzumaki compound was a safe haven for me. This is where I read about it and began my true fascination with my heritage." I wasn't going to tell them that this was all confirmed by the fact that the Uzumaki originally protected the tailed beasts before their sense of independence truly kicked in. And Kurama told of this not too long after my befriending of him, he does seem to have a soft spot for us Uzumaki's after all.

"I see…fine I'll agree to your terms in order to keep up the barrier but the versions you will receive are just copies since I obviously can't just give you everything." Tsunade sounded as if she was already wishing for retirement which earned an internal chuckle.

"I understand, when can I expect to pick up my demands?" I asked cordially.

"By tomorrow evening come to this office by 10pm." I bowed and walked out the room I had three locations to go to for my side of the preparations to be complete. As such I headed to the Uzumaki compound on the edge of Konoha.

The compound was surrounded by a large red stone wall which contained the black outline of the uzumaki all along the wall. The inside of the compound looked nicely kept and luxurious even despite being abandoned for years. Its golden tiled roof matches well with the crimson red of the walls. Despite many attempts no one could get through the blood seal to enter the compound and gain access to the riches inside.

I entered through the front gate, the portal rippling as I entered, sending a chill through me. I walked through the beautiful garden which contained pools of mini whirlpools eventually I reached the front door of the main building I opened the stunning engraved stone door to find a practical throne room which at the end of the room held the throne, whilst a large dining table sitted in front of the throne which held a fireplace in the middle. I walked past everything to behind the throne which held a golden wall with a complex engraving. This engraving was rather simple to decode as it was a fuinjutsu seal biting my thumb. I smeared blood on the centre of the seal. The seal glowed turquoise before the wall began retracting downwards to reveal a massive vault. Storage scrolls lined the walls, deciding to seal all of them into a single scroll so that I could easily travel. I began the drawn out progress. Afterwards I placed explosive tags all around the compound.

Despite arriving early in the afternoon I ended up leaving in the evening. I had hoped to head straight to the Namikaze estate but found an unexpected site. Pervy Sage was waiting for me at the entrance. Outside the barrier.

"Pervy Sage." I greeted with a wave. Pervy Sage was less than pleased about this but chose to ignore this as he eyed me trying to get a measurement of the emotionless face I showed.

"You've changed, something happened?"He asked which threw me.

"Well I'm being banished in three days so I am just claiming as much as possible at the moment. you want to walk with me to the Namikaze estate?" Jiraiya seemed surprised and infuriated but still nodded as we started heading to the Namikaze estate. Jiraiya asked about what happened and I told him everything. By the end of it I had to hold him back from commiting high treason.

Jiraiya was the closest person to being a parent I ever had, as unlike the old man he at least left a shadow clone with me for most of my early childhood. Although this began to decrease once I told him I knew about my heritage something he somehow was surprised about, but instead of going to the Hokage like I expected he simply looked thoughtful then showed me both clan estates before taking me to a training ground.

Flashback

"Why are we here?" My disappointed voice round through easily before looking up and seeing that Jiraiya seemed nervous about something. Looking to see if I could see what could be causing this distress in a Sannin, I ultimately gave up searching, unable to find even a spec of what could be causing this reaction.

"Naruto." Jiraiya said a little bit somberly before his face turned into a steely determination which heightened my excitement exceptionally. I might actually be taught some cool Jutsu today. But this hope was crushed or at least partially crushed by his following sentence. "You won't be able to pass the genin tests this year." His voice was laced with icy steel as if he just stated the harshest reality to a naive fool.

I wanted to tell him he was wrong, I wanted to prove to him I could do the clone jutsu but I knew it was nowhere near the quality required to the pass the exams but I still had to try or how else would I gain the respect that was robbed from me the moment I was born. "You can't do the clone jutsu and never will…" The pause ached away at my heart as the world around me froze and began crumbling. Is this really all it comes down to, me being a failure. "But that isn't the only way of completing the exams the reason you can't do a clone jutsu is simple you have far too much chakra to do it courtesy of your Uzumaki heritage, but the Uzumaki had a way around this something which was eventually gifted to them by the second Hokage. The Shadow clone, you should be able to do that but it will take time thus me saying you can't do it this year." I nodded not entirely sure what a shadow clone was and apparently it showed as Jiraiya went into a brief lecture of it before setting me to begin training.

After a few hours I had mastered the techniques to Jiraiya complete befuddlement. but instead of letting it stop him he started teaching me other variations of the shadow clone technique, such as the shadow shuriken or my favourite the shadow jutsu clone.

Flashback end

Eventually we reached the Namikaze estate which was just a small walled off house. Leaving the pervy sage behind I went into the building and it certainly felt abandoned as the smell of mould was overwhelming forcing me to lean against the wall in shock. So imagine my surprise when the wall was pushed inwards as the floor opened up. Well that was cliche. Heading down there I found a similar vault to the Uzumaki and just Like the Uzumaki I sealed everything into a single scroll before placing explosive tags all across the building.

I saw Jiraiya outside again and told him I need to get some rest since today was exhausting. Jiraiya seemed reluctant to leave at first but decided to talk about it tomorrow. Heading home my stomach grumbled. Ah food would be quite helpful and I was coming up to ichiraku's. I might as well get some ramen. Heading into the restaurant I ordered my normal Miso ramen and finally noticed the person sitting next to me, my old teacher Iruka.

"Naruto, haven't heard you around today hows everything?" Teuchi and Ayame came back into the front of the store at the same moment. Welp might as well get this over and done with.

"Good, good finally got to claim my heritage, getting banished in three days so overall pretty decent." A clash and bash was heard as one of Teuchi's pans fell whilst Iruka nearly destroyed his bowl of ramen. Ayame was on the verge of tears for some reason.

"That isn't something to joke around with Naruto." Iruka desperately said, clasping at whatever virtual straws he could. I simply shook my head to indicate that im not joking which resulted in the food of the gods being spilled.

"You're kidding. Why?" I simply gave a look that stated you already know the answer before returning to my ramen.

"they've tried multiple times, this was just the first time it was successful. It will be a spectacle which all citizens are required to watch. I plan to reveal my heritage there before being escorted out of the country by my friends." I deadpanned. Iruka seemed furious and the same applied to the others, maybe I should just shut up.

"Anyway I need to get some rest today has been draining, see ya." I said dropping the amount I owed and dashed off before anyone else could talk to me. Finally getting home I fell asleep completely hoping for the continuation of the dream in the hospital but instead it was a dreamless coma.

Next day….

I woke up to the sound of my alarm that indicated the need for me to get to the training ground to meet with team 7. Obviously this time is an hour after our official rendezvous time since Kakashi takes at least 2 to arrive. Getting quickly ready I decided it was time for my planned wardrobe change. Getting rid of the orange I put on a black and dark green anbu style shirt. My trousers were pure black the few Anbu armour pieces, these being gauntlets and shin protectors that stretched to the knee, I wore were charcoal grey. I had a navy blue jacket which was very similar to the jonin vest and over the top of everything I wore a crimson red and gold cloak in the centre of the cloak a black swirl of the Uzumaki was situated, Plus a large red scroll around the back of my waist. Realising getting ready took longer than expected I rushed to the meeting point jumping from roof to roof. I didn't notice the two people struggling to trail me.

With around 10 minutes until we are on time going by Kakashi standard time or KST as we call it I notice Sasuke was here talking to Sakura. I also sensed the malicious intent of a prank coming from the trees thanks to Kurama, the nine tails, but the moment everyone saw my new clothes they blew it anyway. Hey kit behind you. What are you talking about-

Smash. I saw something truly baffling kakashi 2 minutes early, this caught all of the Konoha 12 off guard as their planned prank quickly self-destructed as everyone marvelled at the early Kakashi. I discreetly created a shadow clone to set off the trap. Eventually everyone stopped marvelling and we got to the two topics at hand. The first was my new get up annoyingly.

"Well I'm not going to be here soon so I thought I'd wear something slightly different." They all seemed unconvinced by my answer.

"Can you even do kenjutsu?" Sakura asked curiously. I shook my head in the negative.

"I know the basic Uzumaki stance and I practised against shadow clones but no formal training." I quickly followed up. Everyone looked baffled that I was using shadow clones that way.

"Ummm Naruto, is that good for your mental health?" The now arrived Tenten said behind a still limping Neji followed. I shrugged honestly having no clue to what the answer would be, deciding instead to turn my attention back to everyone in the group.

"When I'm exiled you will have plenty of opportunity to ask questions then, please as you will be escorting me out the country. I would like to get some last minute training before leaving." And that is exactly what we did: we spared purely in taijutsu not wanting to cause any significant injuries. I was hoping for a slight challenge but ended up with Shino whilst everyone else got into their pairs. Both me and Shino took our stances. Shino took an advanced academy style whilst I took a basic Uzumaki style I learnt early on in my life from when I temporarily stayed in the Uzumaki compound after my apartment got torched when I was six.

We began with the unison sign once we both confirmed the sign I charged at him. I sent a kick to his skull, Shino in response stepped back before pushing forward with his own ferocious right hook I used to step into the attack, before purposefully falling just enough so that the attack will graze pass me before grabbing Shino's arm and throwing him over my head and into the ground. I turned and attempted to stomp on his stomach but he rolled out the way.

Springing to his feet Shino launched a punch aiming at my temple. Instead of blocking the attack I went aggressive as his footing still hadn't recovered moving uncomfortably close as I lifted my own clenched fist in an uppercut successfully connecting to Shino's chin launching him backwards. After s few more minutes of Shino launching attacks and me using his momentum against him he coughed up a bit of blood despite me not hitting him so we called the match. Creating a shadow clone, I had Shino taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Something I would quickly come to realise was everyone was watching me and Shino fight and how I rather effortlessly destroyed the insect user. "So dobe when could you use taikutsu like that?" Sasuke asked curiously, I turned to him seeing his sharingan eyes activated as he likely tried to copy my style. I shrugged knowing the reason and seeing no harm in sharing.

"I've only just begun learning the Uzumaki style of taijutsu but from what I can tell it requires activating our artificial secondary bloodline." I said seeing the confused look on their faces, as I went to continue explaining Neji spoke first.

"What do you mean by 'artificial' and 'secondary'." I nodded knowing this is what the question would be about. A couple of the clan members who were more focussed on the fact that I had a bloodline rather than the points Neji raised suddenly realised what I said as their mouths opened fully.

"The founder of the Uzumaki clan created an artificial bloodline using fuinjutsu, which allows us to make our moves faster and more durable but more importantly uncopyable or understandable to anything but a six tomoe rinnegan. Making our moves nigh impossible to predict. Additionally we are able to learn seals far faster and are able to recognise and create seals in a fraction of the time normally however comes with the downside of our stubbornness and for some reason an insatiable craving for ramen." I finished sheepishly rubbing my head. Everyone just looked like they pieced the secrets of the universe together before everyone began to laugh. I will miss this.

The formation of the Uzumaki clan

"Now then whilst we still have our bloodline something more will be required to keep us truly safe from my brothers." A redhead man with grey horns growing out his head said before picking up a bowl of ramen. " This seal should accomplish what I need." The man said before dropping the bowl of ramen on the seal causing him to panic quickly cleaning the mess.

Whew "it doesn't seem to have affected the seal whatsoever, maybe my chakra already being in the seal prevented it." The man wondered aloud before placing the scroll in his draw and going to bed.

Back to present

"So what about your main bloodline?" Ino chirped in not wanting to drop it. I sheepishly rubbed my head realising my screw up earlier as I wanted to keep this secret.

"Tailed beast level chakra, incredibly dense chakra, longevity, healing abilities and a very powered down rinnegan." I listened to paying close attention to each of their reactions, especially the dojutsu users who had a mortified look on their face.

"Do you have access to the strongest dojutsu?" Hinata sheepishly asked, causing the few people who didn't know faces to drop.

"I shook my head before responding knowing I needed to clear up the misconception. "The rinnegan we have access to is not the same one you are thinking of. Our rinnegan doesn't control any of the six paths but the naraka path but even then that causes slight blindness. Instead of the usual abilities we have the ability to understand someone's thought process through their actions. Effectively we can read minds when looking at someone's body movements."

"So you're able to read and predict movements like the sharingan." Sasuke asked inquisitively. The main difference between the sharingan and our version of the rinnegan is that the sharingan doesn't require thought but instead shows what's going to happen. Whereas we only understand how they act and what their end goal is so we have to figure out how they will get there.

As I was about to recite the information I got from my first visit to the Uzumaki compound I was stopped by a purple haired anbu wearing a sloth mask. "Lady Hokage requests your presence, Naruto Uzumaki." She finished before grabbing my shoulder as we both sunshined to the Hokage tower leaving my friends baffled at the situation.

I found myself in the Hokage office to my surprise pervy sage, Danzo and the clan heads were all in the room. Everyone surprisingly including Danzo had a sober face plummeting the usually warm atmosphere into an icy depression.

"Lady Hokage you asked for me." I politely bowed to the now frowning slug princess as she didn't like this change in personality within me. Understandable but nothing can be done about it now, if I stay as I was I would likely die out in the world on my own.

"Everything has been prepared slightly earlier than expected so here is the scroll." She said handing said scroll over I took it and quickly sealed it within the scroll on my back.

"Are you sure you want this Naruto? I could rescind the order and you can remain with your friends." Tsunade pleaded despite knowing of my innate stubbornness from my mother. I thought about saying just 'I am' but decided against it in order to cheer her up.

"I believe I can do more for the village as a banished nin rather than an official." I responded coldly. It was obvious to those who'd heard previous answers to the question that this wasn't my official reason but some decided to keep quiet about it.

"Then let me ask you this, what makes you loyal to the village despite its…hospitality?" Danzo quickly responded hoping to catch me off guard but I had expected this not from him but I did expect this.

"Because it's the only home I know, the only place I felt true kindness, not a trade of gratitude from me saving someone and then suddenly seeing me in a new light." I'm sure Danzo noticed the underlying message as well as the others in the room. This being I'm only loyal because I have no alternative.

Danzo nodded and for some reason looked relieved whilst the others looked ashamed. Hashirama knows why. But that doesn't matter. I've achieved my goals for today so there's no more to be done here.

"Is there anything else, Lady Hokage?" I would usually have left but this would be one of the few chances I have left to talk to her.

"Why are you so adamant on being banished?" I tilted my head as the question came from someone unexpected, looking towards the window I saw Kakashi standing there, his singular eye filled with worry.

"This village spat on my legacy, on me, betrayed my clans despite building much of Konoha. They simply watched when we were attacked, choosing to just make us jinchuriki breeding stock. I refuse to remain tied down in a village that would sooner see me dead than even a rat." I responded sure the anger and indifference that was mixing in my emotions snuck through. "We chose to flee to Konoha in hopes that they would at least honour some part of our alliance. But what do we discover, our brothers and sisters were ostracised by the very village they built whilst our sister clan from the Senju slowly died out as Konoha committed extreme experimentation on them. So yeah I'm not exactly thrilled by this but Konha is the only place that showed me any semblance of true kindance so I will repay it." My first began to shake as nine tails chakra began to leak out. Before any of them could jump on me the chakra rescinded. Tsunade seemed horrified by this revelation whilst Hirezun and Danzo looked generally confused, everyone else was trying to figure out what was going on and how I came across this information.

"What do you mean by 'extreme experiments'?" Danzo asked, catching everyone off guard as they thought he was responsible. I looked at him before grabbing the scroll of my back and unsealing a smaller scroll.

"The Uzumaki believed they would be betrayed so began one hell of a spy network within this village. In fact it was this spy network that told me about my parents. Sadly none of them were ninja so I never got any training." I handed the scroll over which detailed as well as held evidence a yamanaka was able to pull out the head of one of the people doing the experiments. Playing the video via projecting it onto a bucket of water we could all view simultaneously

The memory

"Itto Yamanaka we would like you to head to the estates of the elders minus Danzo more importantly search for access to the underground chambers beneath their homes that likely contain horrific experiments. Gather tangible evidence then report back to us once everything is laid out we will go to the Hokage to report this." A long crimson haired man said before bowing to the platinum blonde Yamanka. The crimson haired man carefully gave him a sheet of paper with a seal on it, the Hirashin seal. "If you find what we're looking for, send your chakra into this and twenty Uzumaki will be teleported to you."

"If what you say is true then this must be done." The blonde said before departing to his unofficial mission. A small smirk creeping onto the face of the redhead but going unnoticed by his 'partner'.

What a weird request, why not have the Hokage look into this first. I'm sure Sui has his reasons though. Was the thoughts running through the head of the Mind reader now carrying out an unofficial secret mission. He passed through the streets as people were oblivious of his near treacherous actions before arriving upon the sole female elders estate. Seeing a single genin guard the door, Itto knew he didn't need to harm the stunted nin, instead choosing to go via the back of the estate. The estate was an older building clearly built for the rich but was in no way impressive compared to the more modern estates one of the most obvious and helpful signs of this being the lack of windows instead relying on paper walls. Whilst having some meaningless advantages such as placing seals on them most shinobi could easily disarm the weak seals that the walls were restricted to.

Entering the home with extreme caution, only to find that it was empty minus two genin, one on the bottom floor and the other on the top floor. Damn I'm likely going to have to take out the guards if I want this to go smoothly. Sneaking behind the one down stairs who just moved into the open planned kitchen I looked to gain an accurate measure of force before launching a decisive hand chop to the neck. Knocking the poor boy out instantly, his kunai pouch came slightly undone as he fell, resulting in the loud clashing of kunai.

Rushing down the stairs I was spotted by a kunoichi who threw two kunai at me before launching herself towards me hoping for taijutsu. Kunai to catch me off guard whilst you use your specialisation to battle me smart but if you were going to do that you needed to have thrown the kunai faster. Easily dodging the kunai, I drew out my own before launching myself at the kunoichi. This action caught her off guard as she likely expected me to jump back and create distance due to my family jutsu. Due to her surprise it made it too easy to do the same hand chop as I did the other genin.

Fearing that the last genin might have heard, I waited only to see that they hadn't left their post and seemed oblivious to what's happening around them. Sighing and releasing a breath I didn't know I was holding, I disappointedly shook my head before turning to head to where I started.

Doing a quick survey of my surroundings I noticed the thin outline of ink behind a cabinet curious on what it could be so I strolled over to it. The cabinet was practically an antique in all ways except upkeep as it looked brand new. Removing the cabinet I saw what I had suspected there certainly was ink but not any type of writing instead it was a complex seal. Spending a while and wishing I took funinjustsu lessons. I was finally able to crack it, behind me on the stairs the wall began to shift revealing a staircase that went straight down.

Slowly descending the stair ever vigilant for traps or other defences I only found a few designed most likely for the team of genin defending the house rather than any truly skilled shinobi. Finally reaching the bottom of the stone staircase I found a singular steel door that looked strangely like a prison door. I went to pick the lock but found that it was slightly open.

Applying a little amount of force onto the door I was successful in opening the door. Inside I found something I could never imagine. Inside were dozens of people, many of which I grew up with but one trait they all shared was the fact that they were senju. Most were chained to the wall or the sealing either unconscious or looking down with acceptance. All had cuts or other injuries, some even had their arms flayed whilst others had arms twisted in ways that shouldn't be possible even if broken.

Remembering the orders I received I flare my chakra into the piece of paper just like Ashona said twenty of the finest Uzumaki warriors were teleported all were in their traditional samurai-ninja armour. They didn't seem bothered by what they saw but I knew that was a lie. Quickly moving to free as many of the Senju as possible, and noticing just how severe their injuries were I lost concentration of my surroundings, only to be reminded when I felt a sharp jolt of pain before being followed by extreme warmth around the affected area.

Looking down I saw something I knew would likely kill me, the blade of an anbu piercing through just barely next to my stomach. Before I could react to this a kunai came flying past my head hitting the anbu in the eye and digging into his skull judging by the grunt he made. A moment later a full blown battle broke out as the Uzumaki were able to cut down four anbu for each loss they took. But it quickly became apparent that they needed to withdraw with only ten members left, four were to be left behind to stall and create as much noise as possible whilst the remaining six would escort the Senju out of the village for the time being.

To my annoyance and complete shame my injury forced me out of the fight before it could even start and required me being carried out to the Uzumaki compound. I couldn't do anything even though I should have been able to.

Memory end

With the video ending everyone in the room was seething with rage upon realising what had happened but to everyone's surprise it wasn't Tsunade that was most in raged, though she was a close second, but Danzo who immediately called for anbu to appear and gave them the order of arresting the two traitors and to prepare them for execution. The anbu hesitated to follow the order instead choosing to wait for Tsunade to give her orders but this proved to be a mistake as she snapped at them making them quickly shunsin away.

"Where did the Uzumaki take my family?" She said her hatred boiling over into her words. I shrugged and shook my head to indicate I had no clue in truth I knew a little and that being they made an exodus to wherever the remaining Uzumaki call home now, but I wasn't going to be probed more than I needed to be.

Clearly unhappy by my lack of knowledge Tsunade before she could give any more orders or accusations to me I knew that there was something I needed to test so I spoke up first. "I believe it's also worth noting that around thirteen Uchiha joined them in their exodus." Everyone was surprised that I brought this up but to my expectations Danzo was furious that some Uchiha was able to escape him. It seems my theory behind the Uchiha massacre being an order was indeed true, another thing to hold against this village.

"I should probably leave so that you can handle village business but before I leave I wish to make a request to you Lady Hokage." Tsunade clearly wasn't in the mind to deal with this as instead of answering she stormed out the room putting Hirezun in charge who seemed very reluctant to take back his position as acting Hokage.

"What is it you wish to ask Naruto?" Hirezun asked with surprising concern.

"I've been thinking it over and it's in my best interest for me to stay in this village as much as possible so I request to be allowed to join the anbu." If they were expecting any request then that certainly wasn't it and it showed.

"You're about to be leaving Konoha due to banishment. Why would I initiate you into anbu just for you to leave. Hirezun said, eying Danzo with the corner of his eye. Despite his attempt at keeping it subtle most of us in the room knew where he was looking however Danzo didn't seem to care as he was in complete bewilderment. He probably thought once I left the village I would look for the other Uzumaki and he would use that as an opportunity to claim the nine tails whilst wiping out a 'threat to the village'. Sadly for him I had thought about this the moment I was nearly expelled from the village for the first time.

"Because it is the perfect cover story to hide your jinchuriki from the other villages whilst still maintaining an asset. Additionally you and Tsunade gain the support of the civilians whilst the shinobi will probably be able to figure out my identity eventually, this deals with all the major problems in the village whilst also keeping the Akatsuki in the dark even more." I finished my reasoning for how the village benefits from this whilst hiding my own benefits in an attempt to make them consider the offer more. I also dropped the Akatsuki to throw them off from my goals even more hopefully they will buy it.

"How did you know about the Akatsuki?" Hirezun asked. Fighting to keep back my smile since he fell hook line and sinker for my ploy I could now begin to reveal my abilities so that it seems like I deserve to be in the anbu.

"Jiraiya revealed them to me when he began training me before I enlisted into the academy." In truth he taught a metric ton more than the academy ever could.

"And what is it he taught you?" Hirezun growled clearly unhappy that his student did this behind his back.

"The shadow clone and its variations, the rasengan, taijutsu, fuinjutsu to the point where I'm mediocre by Uzumaki standards. As well as espionage." I didn't want to include the last one but it would be important for the future questions that will inevitably pop up.

" Why didn't you reveal any of this to me or team 7?" Kakashi said, catching me off guard as I forgot he was in the room.

"Jiraiya told me to, said that if the Akatsuki thought I was weak they would capture me last since they don't have to worry about me." I shrugged the question off, which seemed to calm Kakashi's confusion enough. Hirezun clearly realised that this means I was able to trick a former anbu and a high ranked one at that whilst being just a child.

"And what do you gain from joining the anbu?" Danzo asked, causing quick looks of realisation as the other finally realised I was manipulating the conversation.

"My life. We all know you can't just let a jinchuriki leave the village. I would have certainly been hunted down and killed, sadly for some I value my life just enough to choose this as my alternative." If only that was my only reason but they will never know of this. Not until it was too late.
