Other than that, it's up to you and, again, it doesn't have to be a serious story:
It's meant to be fun and creative, just like all Fan Fiction, really;
Author's Note: So, this is going to seem like a really random idea, but at the same time, I hope that some of you out there can give it a chance; admittedly, it's something I'm writing for fun, but I'm also writing it because it's weird and inspirational at the same time, so let's see how the adventure unfolds in the long run.
And, as always, if you don't like it, then don't read it.

Prologue: Run, Harry, Run!
In the dark of the night, as most of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry slept, the calm silence of the night was suddenly broken by the faint sound of shuffling steps running from one side of the school's Stone Circle to the other.
If anyone had looked out into the night, however, they would have seen naught but the darkness and heard nothing but steps and frantic, fearful breaths, but there didn't seem to be anyone there. The wind was calm and the skies were overcast, the moon peeking out from behind the clouds that filled the sky, but other than that, there didn't seem to be anything that might have suggested someone or something else was out there.
And yet, there was someone there.
Someone who ran as fast as his legs could carry him, his chest pounding with wave after wave of nauseating fear and hope as he ran to the exit of the school gates, passing through them with very little effort.
Given the fact he was running from a school of magic, it seemed sad, even disappointing, but also satisfying – at least, to him, it was such – to have to notice the lack of any actual defences stopping anyone running out into the night. And yet, he thanked the Powers for this gap as he ran along the path outside, straight through the gates, which didn't even appear to want to stop him from heading for the edge of the nearby village where, pausing for breath, the hidden runner finally stopped, puffing and panting as a hand suddenly appeared from beneath the folds of a cloak that seemed to ripple like water.
Tearing off the cloak, the figure, known to many as twelve, almost-thirteen-year-old Harry James Potter, Boy-Who-Lived and hero of the magical world, gasped and dry heaved before, turning to look back at the school, he let his eyes linger on the place he'd called home for two years.
A place he could no longer call home, not after what had nearly happened to him inside those walls.
"I'm sorry," whispered Harry, turning once on the spot before he ran off into the night, his only companion being the watchful eyes of the stars that glittered in the night sky and very little else.
This made it easy for him to reach his freedom where, pausing again for breath, he looked back one last time before he shook his head slowly, a look of firm determination in his emerald-green eyes as he whispered to the darkness and the silhouette of his now-former-home-away-from-home.
"I don't want to die…not again…"
Then, without anything else that needed to be said, at least in his mind, Harry turned and fled, leaving nothing but the empty darkness behind him.
And his life, his to live as he wished, ahead of him.
Tempest
It would be some time before anyone noticed Harry was missing, most-notably because his trunk and the cage that usually contained his beautiful snowy owl friend, Hedwig, had been left at Hogwarts.
When these same people checked later, however, there would be mixed reactions from all involved when they found the only things missing from the trunk were Harry's Invisibility Cloak – which told his friends exactly how he'd gotten out of Hogwarts without being seen in the first place – and the key to his Gringotts Vault.
Everything else that he might have taken with him – his wand, his journal, his books, his robes, as well as his owl, and even his spare glasses – had all been left in his trunk in Gryffindor Tower.
Why he'd run away, nobody knew, but many people started to come up with theories that sounded ridiculous given who they were talking about.
But to others, particularly those who'd seen Harry as something foul due to the events of the past several months, the theories became more and more ludicrous and disbelieving and yet they listened to them.
Soon, a rift formed in Hogwarts between the two sides.
A rift that, in many people's minds, could only be repaired by one thing.
One thing that would not come to pass for nearly two years.
The return of the prodigal son.
A short, but curious start to this unusually-descriptive adventure, but one that leaves us asking questions: like, why, exactly, has Harry chosen to run, instead of confronting whatever's caused him to feel such fear?
Also, if and when he returns, will the Harry they found be anything like the Harry they have lost?
