AU/No Walkers. After Lori died Carl has been miserable. Rick decides it would be best to send him to his grandparents house in Woodbury for the summer to cheer him up. Carl meets the weird citizens of the small town while having to deal with his family. Rated T because I don't know. Pretty much a feel good fic.

Despite everyone else moving on at Alexandria, Daryl still struggles with his grief over the loss of Beth. "While his darkest days are over, he still has some bad ones. In those days, he curses them all. This takes place about two months after Pete's death. Things between Rick and Michonne have been tense until Michonne reveals some surprising news.

Rick was just...gone. Carl looked all over for him but to no avail. Fearing the worse, he stumbled out into the cruel apocalypse completely alone. There was no doubt the teen could take care of himself but...isolated and independent? He couldn't stand a chance without some luck on his side. The thing is, in the world of the walking dead, he might've had a lot of it.

The world they once knew now seemed liked a distance memory, everyone fighting for themselves. She preferred the old times, back in the army she knew who the was enemy, knew there was still humanity back at home. Now there was nothing, humanity gone to the dogs. It was kill or be killed. So when she met a group of survivors, she had reasons to doubt if staying with them was safe.

This is a SHORT Caryl Story. The story picks up at the end of Season 5 directly after Rick shoots Pete and is what 'could have' happened following that incident.
