(THIS STORY WILL START AFTER THE SEASON FINALE OF TWD) What happens when two natural born survivors meet in a world filled with walkers? Daryl/OC, Rated M for later chapters.

He makes his way back to the prison, Merle at his back. And its the scars that lay heavy between them. Its the scars that make him stand up to the only person who should have saved him.

"Blood was blood, after all." Merle sees the newest of the Dixon clan for the first time, and what he feels is nothing new. After all, he had felt it for her daddy some thirty-something years ago.

He knows she isn't real, but that won't stop him from trailing after this woman in white.

It's almost six months after they've started sleeping together that he gets her pregnant.

Daryl just needed to be alone and to channel all his confusing and rather intense emotions in a non-violent way. Oneshot. Carol/Daryl (Fluff- but could also be interpreted as just friends.)

Merle reflects on seeing Daryl's scars.

When the Atlanta survivors find Fort Benning, it isn't what they expected. It's a fully functioning society being run by a brother and sister. Jill is loving and happy, Daryl is closed off and brooding. Will the young woman get what she wants or will Daryl hold off because of her age?

"I think you two aren't talking 'cause of Merle. 'Cause he doesn't want you to be friends with anybody but him." Carl explained. Daryl couldn't decide if he found what Carl had told him to be ridiculous and far-fetched or scarily accurate. "And Beth…she thinks it's 'cause you two are in love."
