Prequel to Catching Fire, Finnick is having trouble emotionally long after the 65th Hunger Games but he is also having to deal with fear of the reaping for the 75th Hunger Games. Not only has fear taken over, but the loss of his father and the fear of losing Annie are becoming vivid more and more everyday, he now has to battle himself in hopes of seeing what he really cares about.

OPEN SYOT. We have fallen asleep for so long, a slumber we thought would be endless, but it's over now. People are beginning to wake up, and realize that we have to fight back. I wrote this poem for school to illustrate Katniss' thoughts and feelings right after Rue died. This is my first attempt at anything Hunger Games.

It's their first tour, and Katniss, her friends and family get invited to come with them. Will there be trouble in paradise, or smooth sailing with "Waves"?y

He can't continue on never knowing. He can't live his life in regret and depressed love. And most of all, he can't let her do this to him when she's doing the same to herself. She is cutting off his air supply and managing to choke herself as well. And so he says goodbye to her, the one that holds his heart. "Say something, I'm giving up on you. I'll be the one, if you want me to."

Slightly AU. Joniss .The Hunger games dont exist. Instead the tributes live at the training facility where they train to become assassins/fighters/survivors. Johanna and Katniss meet here for the first time, how will their relationship develop as they live here? Multi-chapter fic. Rated M for possible future chapters.
