Well, this is a little story Katniss and Finnick, and what happens when they're waiting to rescue Peeta and Annie. This story has nothing to do with the Mockingjay book... So there's no spoilers :D

The 74th Hunger Games are about to begin and Pearl Davis, a Capitol citizen, is excited, as she is every year. But something is different, something is wrong. Whether it's age or maturity, Pearl isn't so sure about The Hunger Games anymore.

Takes place in District 7 Lumber Paper . About a girl who goes into the Hunger Games and befriends a jabberjay in the arena when she is starving. The jabberjay leads her to an ally who saves her from starvation.

My story started as a short expansion of the last chapter of Suzanne Collins' Mockingjay and my imagined scenario of Peeta and Katniss growing back together. I had so much fun that it morphed in to more about the two taking it through the epilogue.
