This is just a short one-shot that I figured would hit at least a few events in the InuYasha week. Remember I only do this for fun and I do not own any part of InuYasha. Though I'm glad Takahashi gave us this awesome gift.

After five years apart, Inuyasha and Kagome finally are reunited in the modern era. Inuyasha trains under Sesshomaru to become a secret agent dedicated to protecting demon-kind and quickly finds out he's got a lot to learn before he gets to head out into the field. Sesshomaru is stuck in a wolf's body and Kagome works at the zoo he is transferred to. When Kagome manages to free Sesshomaru, she thrown in the world of mikos and yokai and Sesshomaru has a lot of lost time to make up for.

Kagome has been away for 7 years. She left to become stronger and independent... also to get away from Inuyasha and Kikyo. On her way back she stops for the night, only to end up facing a certain daiyoukai who was also on his way to Edo. Rated mature for future chapters.
