Después de 100 años de la época de Kagome, la Shikon No Tama ha regresa, pero esta vez dentro de Yukiteru Higurashi (reencarnación de Kagome) quien luego conoce a Hanon Morisato (reencarnación de Inuyasha). Ambos descubren la era Feudal al otro lado del pozo donde conocen a Inuyasha, Kagome y a los demás, ahora se encuentran en el comienzo de una nueva batalla por la perla Shikon.

"¡Eres sólo una chiquilla tonta que se aferra a mí! ¡No me importas! ¡Nunca podrías importarme! ¡VETE!" Son las palabras que le dice Inuyasha a Kagome tras salvar a Kikyo en el Monte Hakurei.
