Summary: Jesse and Savannah catch up with their friends on the latest happenings. Meanwhile, in Boston, the Collins wonder what's next for them since William's Ultra Corp went under and Charlotte settles in her new permanent home.
Note: This story takes place during the events of ''A Stronger Friendship Written in Stone''.
It was a splendid sunny day in Yucaipa, California as Susie and the Deville twins were hanging out at Tommy and Dil's house as they waited for Savannah and Jesse to arrive.
"We're gonna have some fun you guys'' said Tommy.
"Yeah'' replied Susie, Dil, Phil and Lil in unison.
"Hey Bro, you thinks we should tell Jesse and Savannah that Angelica doesn't bully us no mores soon'' asked Dil.
"Hmmm, I thinks we should have them meet Zoey firstest the nextest time she comes over and then we can tell them and Zack the whole story'' said Tommy.
"I get your drift Tommy. We get Jesse and Savannah to know our newest friend and then explain how it all went down and how we all met right'' asked Susie.
Tommy nodded.
"Neat'' said Phil and Lil in unison.
"Yeah, I'm sures they'll like to meet the new girl way more than the rest of us did with Angelica's yucky evil cousin'' added Dil.
"Yep'' replied Tommy. "In the meantimes, we'll just get them prepared for the nextest time Zoey and the rest of our friends come over'' he added.
"Yeah, Me and Lil were prepared when Zoey came over to our house a few days ago'' Phil chimed in.
"Yep, and she likes gross stuff likes Me and Phillip'' added Lil.
"Really'' asked Tommy, Dil and Susie in unison.
Phil and Lil nodded.
"Wow, I guess Zoey gots some things in common with us'' said Tommy.
The others nodded in agreement. And it wasn't too long before the Greens and the Barrows showed up and dropped their children off at the Pickles residence for the day.
"Hey guys'' said Jesse and Savannah in unison.
"Hey'' replied the others in unison.
"It's been a while since we last saw you guys'' said Jesse.
"Yeah'' agreed Savannah. "Did we miss anything'' she asked.
"You really wanna know'' asked Phil and Lil in unison.
"Yeah'' replied Jesse and Savannah in unison.
"Well, we won't say too much for now, but what we will tell you is that the nextest time Angelica comes over, we don't gots to worry about her being means or bullying us no mores as she has begun being nice to all of us'' said Tommy.
"What!'' exclaimed Jesse and Savannah in unison.
"We're just as surprised as you'' replied Susie.
"Are you guys sure about this'' asked Savannah.
"Uh-huh'' replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"And there's a new girl in town that is a friend of ours that you'll wants to meet the nextest time she comes over to play'' added Dil.
"What's her name" asked Savannah.
"The new girls name is Zoey Anderson" replied Susie.
"Is she a nice girl" asked Jesse.
"Yep" replied Phil and Lil in unison.
"We'll tell you a little bit about Zoey" said Tommy. "And as for Angelica not being means to us no mores, we figured we should have you meet the new girl firstest as she's part of the reason that Angelica's evilness is the least of our worries now" he added.
"And don't worry, the wait will be worth it" Susie chimed in.
"Okay" replied Savannah.
"While I usually would get all hyped up about eagerly finding out more, I'll hold my hyperness this time" added Jesse.
And Susie and the Rugrats headed off to play. Meanwhile, over in Boston, Massachusetts at the Collins mansion, William and his son Anthony were reeling themselves from the ill-fated Sea Wise Odyssey cruise as they wondered what was next for them since Ultra Corp went under.
"Daddy, since your business is gone, what is gonna happen next for us" asked Anthony.
William knew that his son was going to catch on sooner or later, but he didn't want him to know that just yet.
"Hmmm, I'm not sure yet" replied William. "But I'm sure we will find our cloud with a silver lining" he added.
"Hmmm, okay" shrugged Anthony as he headed upstairs to his room.
"I hated to tell Anthony falsehoods about repercussions catching up to us, but I'll have to tell him sooner or later" William thought to himself.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Anthony looked out his bedroom window and sighed deeply about his failed attempt to get rid of his cousin Angelica and not being able to move to Yucaipa, California on account of the move being far too expensive, especially since his father's business fell to Communism.
"I hope my stupid cousin Angelica and her idiotic goody goody baby friends are satisfied!" sneered a furious Anthony. "I got my tail handed to me and those idiots abandoned the mission after I helped them get revenge on my stupid cousin. They should have had my back!"
Somewhere else in town, Charlotte had moved in to an apartment and settled in okay.
"Well, it may not be a big place, but it will have to do" said Charlotte. "I better familiarize myself with what's around in Boston" she added.
And Charlotte got in her car and took a drive around town and took a look around. Meanwhile, back in California, Susie and the Rugrats were having fun doing random things.
"Hey Lillian, wanna play superheroes" asked Phil.
"Sure Phillip, we'll saves the day from big meanies, specially those that wanna hurt cute babies" replied Lil.
"Here's Savannah the explorer being her own hero likes Dora the explorer" said Savannah as she looked through her Dora the explorer magnifying glass and pretended she was exploring the jungle.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha, I loves playing with my Goober toy" said Dil.
"I bet this is quite a metropolis of building blocks we're making" said Jesse.
"Yeah, it will be the bestest one we eber made" replied Tommy.
"And I'm coloring these Dummi bears in different colors, just like on the show" replied Susie.
The kids did their stuff until Didi called them to lunch.
"Kids lunch time" said Didi. "And since it is a pretty day outside, I'll set up a picnic for you to have out in the backyard" she added.
"Yay" cheered the kids in unison.
Soon, the kids were having their picnic.
"Mmmmm, these peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are pretty good" said Susie.
"Uh-huh" replied Dil and Savannah in unison.
"Yummy in our tummies" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"No complaints here" replied Jesse.
"Yep" said Tommy.
As the kids ate, Savannah decided to ask her friends about the new girl in town they spoke about earlier.
"Hey guys, about this new girl Zoey, what does she look like" asked Savannah.
"Well, she looks almost exactly alike Angelica" replied Phil.
"Yep, she even gots pigtails, except her hair is the same color as Me and Phillips hair" added Lil.
"Yeah, she is really nice and really brave" said Tommy.
"Yeah, Me Tommy and Angelica gave Zoey a tour of the neighbor hood recently and showed her some of our favoritest spots to have fun" added Dil.
"And Zoey likes getting down and dirty and likes Reptar" said Phil and Lil in unison.
"Really" asked Jesse.
"Yeah" replied Tommy and Dil in unison.
"We even discussed plans to hangout and sleepover at everybody's houses recently as well" said Susie.
"Wow" exclaimed Jesse and Savannah.
"And Zoey is Angelica's bestest friend now, specially acause she helped her out and never gave up on her" Lil chimed in.
"Yep and like Angelica, Zoey loves sweets as much as she does" added Phil.
"So Angelica and this new girl Zoey are bestest friends likes Tommy and Chuckie" asked Jesse.
"And likes Me and Dil" Savannah chimed in.
"Yep" replied Tommy and Dil in unison.
"I can't wait to meet this new girl Zoey" said Jesse.
"Yeah, and if Zoey earndid Angelica's friendship, do you thinks she can get Angelica to say she's sorry for being so means to Me and Jesse" asked Savannah.
"Not to worry guys, I know Angelica is gonna say sorry to you both the nextest time she comes over" assured Tommy.
Susie and the other Rugrats vouched for Tommy by nodding their heads in agreement.
"Okay guys, Me and Jesse can't wait to hear the words I'm sorry from Angelica" said Savannah.
"Yeah, the issue of Angelica's evilness between us has gone on long enough and has gotta end" added Jesse.
"Oh it already has" replied Susie.
"Really" asked Jesse and Savannah in unison.
"Yep" replied the others in unison.
"Man, I'm looking forward to meeting the new girl and learning more about what's been going on lately" said Jesse.
"Yeah, me too" added Savannah.
And the kids went on to finish eating their lunch. Meanwhile, back in Boston, Charlotte was making her rounds around town as she was getting acquainted with the area.
"I see there is a Supermarket close to my new apartment" said Charlotte. "How convenient" she added.
As Charlotte continued driving around, she stumbled upon the Collins mansion.
"Hmmm, I see my brother William has been able to hold onto this place, for now" said Charlotte. "I think I'll pay him and my nephew a quick little visit" she added.
And Charlotte pulled up to their estate and rang the doorbell and William answered the door.
"Charlotte!" exclaimed William as he was surprised to see his sister in Boston.
" William!" exclaimed Charlotte.
And William and Charlotte embraced one another.
"What brings you here in Boston" asked William.
"Oh, haven't you heard the news, I've moved into an apartment downtown as I've had enough of living in California" explained Charlotte.
"I see" replied William as he led Charlotte inside. "Well, You and I will need each other's back as we are no longer rich like before" he added.
"Oh yes indeed" agreed Charlotte.
Little did William know that this was indeed looming on the horizon because somewhere else in town at the same moment, the Realtor was in the process of sorting out loose ends and putting up the Collins mansion for rent and preparing a letter for a notice of eviction as William hadn't paid his house bill for a month since the Sea wise Odyssey cruise ended.
"Do you think that Collins guy will approve of this?" asked the real estate agent.
"If he can't pay up his house bills for a second month in a row, I'll have no other choice" replied the realtor.
"I just hope he and his son will be able to live elsewhere in case William can't come up with the money as I've heard that his Ultra Corp as
well as Charlotte Pickles Mega Corp have both fallen to Communism.
"Even though I'm no fan of Communism, that William Collins guy had it coming as repercussions are bound to catch up with overconfident and corrupt people sooner or later" replied the realtor.
"True, albeit justified, but true" agreed the real estate agent.
The realtor nodded in agreement. Meanwhile, back in California, Susie and the Rugrats were now getting wet as they changed into their bathing suits and were having fun.
"Cannon ball" shouted Tommy, Jesse and Susie in unison as they splashed into one of the paddling pools.
"Why don't we see who can hold their breath underwater" asked Jesse.
"Sure" replied Tommy and Susie as they went underwater.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha" laughed Phil and Lil in unison.
"It's fun playing around in the sprinkler" said Lil.
"Yep, I'm loving this" replied Phil.
"Hey Dil, wanna throw my Dora the explorer beach ball back and fourth with me" asked Savannah.
"Sure Savannah, let's play" replied Dil as they played with the beach ball.
Meanwhile, back in Boston, William and Charlotte were downstairs having a little chat.
"Well William" began Charlotte. "Anthony is gonna have to know sooner or later" she said.
"I know" replied William. "I just wonder how he'll take it" he said.
"Even though the truth will hurt, especially when I said all I had too when I moved away from California, at least you'll have gotten off your shoulder" replied Charlotte.
William thought about what Charlotte had said and despite the uncertainty on what's next for the Collins going forward, he should just come on out with the truth.
"You know, you may have just made it easy for me to come on out with the truth to Anthony Charlotte" said William.
Charlotte nodded.
"Anthony, could you come down a minute" called William.
Anthony heard his named being called and hustled on downstairs and was surprised to see Aunt Charlotte there.
"Aunt Charlotte!" exclaimed Anthony. "What are you doing here in Boston" he asked.
"Hello nephew, I just thought I stop by to say hello before I head home to my new apartment here" replied Charlotte.
"You live here now instead of Yucaipa, California" asked Anthony.
Charlotte nodded.
"At least that stupid Angelica and her idiotic friends aren't here because I NEVER want to see those traitors again" he thought to himself.
"Well, I better shove off and get some essentials from the Supermarket before dinner, I'll see you two later" said Charlotte.
And William and Anthony waved goodbye as Charlotte drove away. Then they headed back inside.
"Son" William began.
"Yeah dad" replied Anthony.
"I want you to know that whatever happens next for the Collins, we will be strong troopers about it and face anything head on" said William.
"Hmmm, like face problems that the not so rich have to face" asked Anthony.
"Yes" replied William.
Anthony groaned at the thought, but William knew there was no cutting corners about it and had to be firm.
"Son, I know it's not quite your thing, but sooner or later, we all have to deal with our problems head on whether we like it or not" said William.
Anthony sighed as he could see his father wasn't going to back down on this.
"Okay dad, I guess I'll wait and see what happens next for us then" replied Anthony. "NOT" He thought to himself.
"That's my boy" replied William. "Now why don't you play with something while I get dinner ready" he suggested.
"Okay dad" replied Anthony.
And Anthony headed upstairs to his room while William got dinner ready.
"Well, I said all I had to for now, but when that time comes to face reality even more, I'll resort to drastic measures to get my point across for Anthony to understand better" William thought to himself.
Meanwhile, back in California, Susie and the Rugrats had finished watching cartoons on TV and were in the playpen having a chat as it was nearly time for the parents to round up their children.
"So like today our foocher (future) playdates when Angelica comes over the nextest time could be likes this" asked Jesse.
"Yep" replied Tommy, Dil, Phil, Lil and Susie in unison.
"Well, I guess Me and Jesse will wait and see the nextest time acause I too have had enough of Angelica's evilness" added Savannah.
"Not to worries you guys, things really are gonna be different going forward for all of us" replied Tommy.
"I agree with my big brother here" Dil chimed in.
The others nodded in agreement. Soon, their parents arrived at the Pickles residence and rounded up their children and headed home and called it a day.
The end
