Mai is just an ordinary high schooler, until Shibuya Psychic Research center comes to town. SPR center came to town to investigate an interesting sighting at her school, or rather what quite few sightings that have been seen. Feelings start to show towards Naru, and Mai doesn't know what to do about them.

Ryu became friends with Monk, Mai, Eugene, Ayako, Kazuya and John. What will happen when Gene disappears? Will SPR come together and solve cases or will they fall apart?

"Been there, done that." It's been many years, but Mai and Naru finally meet again. Or has it? Moving forward this time, Naru is determined to change the past, even if he cannot predict how it will shape their future. Together the twins, Mai, and Lin will create SPR from scratch, though things are certain to be much different this time around.

Mai had never seen this coming. She took steps to prevent this, and yet, there were other plans already in motion. So, she took the necessary steps to prepare. Pep-talks became her best friend, books held stories that told her what to do, what to look for, and when to apply certain behaviors or emotions. What she didn't know, she learned along the way. It had already taken over.
