BREAKING NEWS: Ex-real life showbiz elite couple Kimura and Kasai to topbill an upcoming action-comedy film

It was last night when the news about the estranged couple, Sokka Kimura and Azula Kasai, teaming up for an upcoming movie was officially announced and it's making a buzz all over the social media, even topping the trending list with the #SokklaComebackMovie.

The announcement gained different reaction from the public; some of the netizens are beyond happy and elated, some found the situation funny and even made memes about how the model Niyok Miyaura, Sokka's new girlfriend, should always be in the set, while others are not too compelled about the reunion.

"Hey, I can still quit if you want me to you know" Sokka said to his girlfriend over the phone. "After all we haven't shoot anything yet for the movie, it won't be hard to find a replacement" he added.

However, Sokka was surprised with Niyok's reply.

"What? No! You should push through the movie. It's okay with me, love. What you two had is all in the past now so I don't see any issue if you work with her," the sweetness and assurance in her voice was enough to calm his nerve.

"Okay, but just to clear it up. I do know she's the main choice for the female mc but I just didn't expect that her team will accept it knowing I will be the leading man..." he continue to ramble before he was cut-off by his girlfriend's giggle.

"You don't need to explain Sokka, I understand and as I said it's fine with me, okay. You're only doing your job." he can hear the amusement in her voice.

"Okay, thank you for being so understanding love," although he knows Niyok couldn't see him, he can't help but smile because of her reply.

"Oh right, they're already calling me for the last photoshoot I gotta go. Love you" she said quickly.

"Take care, love you too" he managed to reply before Niyok hang up on him.

He then flopped down on his mattress staring at the ceiling of his room. What kind of mess did he got himself into. He shouldn't even agreed to play the role in the first place but Sokka's not gonna lie there is a part of him that really hopes Azula or at least her team will take on the offer but he didn't really expect her to accept it knowing she will be playing opposite to him. He should have known better. Azula's mind really worked different, she's an enigma. Even if he's been with her for almost five years she still do unpredictable things just like that night when she packed her things and...

Sokka mentally slap himself "Stop thinking about it idiot! Stop thinking about her already" scolding himself. But his thoughts were betraying him for he just can't help but wonder what is running in her mind as he slowly drifted to slumber.

"...This will be the first ever project of Kimura and Kasai after their break-up almost two years ago" the showbiz anchor enthusiastically reported.

ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!" Azula didn't even hear what the showbiz anchor said next as Ty Lee's screams echoed within the walls of her condo unit.

"Chill, it's just a project you know after all we're both professional..." Azula said non chalantly as she takes another sip from her wine glass "...and please could you keep your voice down you're giving me headache" she added and turned the television's volume down a bit.

"Okay let's just say it's only a project but this is different that's your ex!" her friend trying to reason out.

"Hey, Mai can you back me up here, tell her it's a bad idea" she then turned to their gloomy friend.

"Don't over react Ty, I'm sure Azula knows what she's doing let her do her thing," Mai waved her hand dismissively.

Azula gave Ty Lee an 'i told you so' look' which made the girl sighed in defeat.

"Plus it's been more than a year already and it's not a nasty break-up so I'm sure Kimura also don't mind if we play the role"

"Oh yeah, sure it's not a nasty break-up that's why you two haven't spoke with each other and can't be in the same room ever since" Ty Lee exclaimed sarcastically which made Mai chuckled slightly.

"Just because, we haven't talk after the break-up doesn't mean it end up so badly" Azula said trying not to sound too defensive "It's a mutual decision and much more personal, okay?" she added trying to explain.

"Yeah, yeah if you say so" Mai said amused. "But, why did you accept the offer, if may I ask?"

Azula sighed it's not entirely her choice really. "Well, it actually my manager, who persuade me to take it" she explained.

"The offer is really good too, it seems like the producers really wants to have us in their movie, I just said yes because I know June will nag all day about how we shouldn't let the opportunity passed us by and I'm sure she will ask Ten to convince me so it's not like I'm excited over this" she added while rolling her eyes as she say the latter part.

Her two friends just nodded and decided to let the topic go and just watch some Netflix series, to the delight of Azula. She feels like she can't hold the facade anymore if they mention her ex for more minutes.

Truth to be told, Jun and her persuasion skill is not entirely the reason she accepted the role. She honestly found the role good. It is different from the antagonist or cold-hearted protagonist she had played before, it's perfect to showcase her versatility as an actress. But what really made her say yes to the offer is Kimura. Sokka Kimura. She wants to know how he's doing.

After a heated argument that leads to break-up and her packing bags out of their place. They never talk to each other again. Even if they see each other in some occasion. It's hard to avoid your ex when you two have the same circle of friends but it looks like they're doing great job evading each other presence despite being in the same room. She didn't lie when she said it's a mutual decision but maybe it is indeed a nasty one more than she wants to make it seems. Her mind wandered back to that night.

"What do you mean, you can't do this anymore?" she can't believe what she's hearing.

One minute they're screaming angrily at each other for reasons she can't remember but now she was shock by what he's saying.

"I'm tired of this Zula, I don't even know where our relationship is going!? What's the point of being together for too long if we're not gonna get m...married?" frustration is evident in his voice.

"I already told you I can't settle down right now! I'm not yet ready my..." she didn't have a chance to finish what she's going to say as she was cut off by him.

"Then when?! I've proposed to you for fucking three times already!" throwing his hands in the air. "Do you even love me, Zula? Do you see your future with me cause I feel like you're not sure if you still want to be with me," his voice calm down already and the tears starts to stream down his eyes much likewise the tears threatening to fall from her eyes.

"I'm tired of this..." he continue "I think I need a break" finishing his sentence looking down the floor.

"So... you want to br..break-up with me" she choked at her words, she can't believe that their relationship will come to this point. He seriously never mean that did he.

"I'm sorry" he almost whisper.

She just smiled bitterly while tears are slowly falling down her face "Fine, if that's what you really want. I'm leaving." She said as she walked away from him.

And that's the last 'proper' conversation she had with him. She didn't even notice the tears that start dropping from her left eye, not until Ty Lee nudged her and asked if she's okay. She just shrugged it off and tells her friend the series they're watching is getting into her. And it seems like Ty Lee believed her and didn't asked questions for she's wiping her own tears and continue watching the heart breaking father and daughter scene in the film.

Azula sighed, weighing whether she have done the best or the worst decision in her life when made a choice to listen to what her heart wants and take on the offer, but she guess only time can tell which one it will be.
