Hey everyone! I was going to post a new fanfiction to celebrate me blowing out my 28 birthday candles today but I have been caught up in stuff. I couldn't think of anything birthday related for Lukanette anyway...Maybe because I am getting older now and birthdays are becoming less of a big deal.

But...Celebration is still in order and I am posted a rewrite of the Lukanette June 2021 Dawn prompt I wrote a year ago.

Actually, I wanted to rewrite Lukanette June 2021 because I wanted to see how far I came as a writer...But I was super depressed but then I came back and decided to re-write the Dawn prompt.

I mean rewrite because Lukanette June got canceled in 2022 because of lack of interest...And I and my best friend were heartbroken. I mean I was determined to rewrite with the old calendar prompt anyway but I wanted a new calendar.

I said before the Lukanette fandom is kind of dead and a few people told me I was being unrealistic and negative...Well, you can't tell me the Lukanette fandom isn't dead when Lukanette June got canceled due to lack of interest.

Alright anyway, on with the fanfic...Which provides the beautiful dawn of a new day after fighting through the darkness.

Two heroes battled nightmares that haunted the night. And the citizens of Paris never stirred from their sleep because a lucky ladybug and loyal garden snake kept the peace.

And on another long day defeating evil, Ladybug would've lost her mind. Still, she couldn't be more grateful to have her boyfriend, Viperion.

Sure, since Viperion had time reset powers, Ladybug felt herself go around in circles as they both fought for the most optimal timeline. But at least she had his hand to hold and his reassuring smile to keep her at ease.

Although every hero has their limit, Ladybug was about to fall into Viperion's arms when the last speck of darkness was defeated. And thankfully, Viperion was there to catch her.

Ladybug sighed happily as she nuzzled her head against his muscular chest and his arms wrapped around her like towers keeping her safe.

"My hero," she said.

Viperion smiled down at her. "You're the real hero, Ladybug."

Ladybug smiled back. "Yes, but nobody ever thinks about saving the hero." She said as she placed her hand on his cheek. Viperion felt himself falling in love with her all over again as she looked deeply into his mint green eyes.

"And you save me every day," she said.

The two of them were so distracted that it took a moment to realize the dawn was breaking. Ladybug gasped as the sun shined brightly behind Viperion. Both heroes stood up and saw the Paris cityscape covered in morning warmth.

They barely got to appreciate the morning rays of sunlight when they were civilians. As civilians, they slept through the darkness, but as the guardians of Paris, they both shivered seeing the dawn of a new day. And they knew in their hearts that Paris was still safe because of them.

Ladybug nearly cried happy tears seeing everything glow around her with the morning light. And she had the best partner and boyfriend in the world. Handsome, kind-hearted, and with a strong sense of justice. She took his hand and smiled at him.

Viperion was stunned, not just from his girlfriend's touch but how her midnight blue hair and smile looked so radiant from the golden halo of sunlight.

"Come on, I'll take you home with me," she said.

And the snake and the ladybug jumped the Paris rooftops until they made it back to the bakery. Marinette's parents were still sleeping and didn't suspect the two of them were doing a late-night hero journey. Marinette asked Luka if he wanted breakfast, but Luka took her to the bedroom, thinking she needed rest.

Honestly, Marinette didn't want to sleep on a beautiful day with her boyfriend. But when they got to her bedroom, she started to yearn for the comforter. She laid down with Luka beside her and smiled at him with sleepy eyes as he stroked her hair. Luka laced their hands together as the two of them slept soundly together.

And they deserved to sleep peacefully that morning after defending the night.

Anyways now my complaining aside...I thank all of you for your support.

I am all about collecting wisdom and being 28 means another year of growth, another year of writing, and every year I go on a spiritual path to learn something new.

So cheers for another birthday! I'd give cake, pizza, Asian food, and cookies if I could.

Thanks for reading!
