Asami's First Rut

"Suoh! Asami! Kirishima! Huddle up!"
The two Alphas and one Beta in question sauntered over to their football coach, helmets in hand.
Kirishima, always the practical one, loudly stated, "I will never understand why Americans call this sport 'football' when you barely use your feet to play."
Asami smirked as he heard Kirishima's rant about the impracticality of football and how moronic Americans were for calling it such. Suoh was not-so-subtly sniggering as he heard his boyfriend complain about the name of the sport.
As usual, the Alpha coach was well within hearing range of Kirishima's complaints, but he was too fearful of the two Alphas to try and punish the Beta of the trio. The head coach was half American, so it felt like a personal insult every time he heard Kirishima complain about football. Despite his irritation towards Kirishima, he was well aware that Asami Ryuichi was the son of the CEO who funded the high school and any actions taken again Kirishima Kei would cause the Asami family to retaliate. The coach would be out of a job faster than he could say "football."
Even without the fear of the Asamis, Kirishima's Alpha boyfriend Suoh Kazumi was a threat in his own right. The blond Alpha was massive and easily towered over his coach. He was extremely protective of his Beta counterpart, especially once he discovered Kirishima was his fated mate.
Fated mates were not uncommon, however people rarely found their mates as young as high school. About 50% of the population would go their entire lives without finding their fated mates. Because Suoh and Kirishima were fated mates, Kirishima had gone into heat when Suoh had his first rut. Although Kirishima was not an Omega, his body would mimic an Omega's natural heat to balance out his Alpha counterpart.
An Alpha's rut cycle started around the their 18th birthday, which was the same time as Omegas experience their first heat. Betas were actually quite a special rank because they would be able to adjust to their partners. If a Beta paired with an Alpha, they would go into heat to adjust and if they were with an Omega, they would go into rut. Normally unpaired Alphas had ruts that didn't start until they were about eighteen, around the same age an Omega naturally went into heat. Betas however would not go into either unless they found their true mate or if they paired with an Alpha or Omega. Betas who mated with other Betas were in an unusual position, so it wasn't always clear who one would go into rut and who would go into heat.
As the trio approached the rest of the team, the cheerleading squad began to run out onto the field, led by Sudoh Shuu. Sion High School was playing their rival high school Baishe Academy. As the football players took their positions on the field, Asami felt slightly lightheaded. Attributing his dizziness to lack of sleep, Asami focused his attention on Baishe's quarterback Arbatov Mikhail.
By half time it was apparent something was wrong with Asami. The normally ruthless football player looked weak and leaned on Suoh for support. Kirishima immediately pulled out his cellphone to notify the Asami's about their son's upcoming heat as he and Suoh simultaneously fended off Omegas crowding around their Alpha friend. Sudoh and Fei Long were both intrigued by the sent of an Alpha pre-rut. It was intoxicating for unpaired Omegas and even some Betas.
As soon as Asami Ryuhei heard that Ryuichi was going into his first rut, he sent a car immediately. Kirishima and Suoh helped escort Asami to the car as soon as they saw Tanaka who was the Asami's chauffeur and butler. Ryuichi curled up in the back of the limousine and tried to breathe slowly.
Once the limo arrived at the Asami mansion, Ryuichi felt weak as Tanaka supported him and half dragged him to his pre-rut room. The room was more like a glorified prison cell where Asami would be locked until the end of his rut. There were toys so he could satisfy himself as well as a giant screen where he could watch porn.
Although the room was well furnished, Asami had to wear a collar and leash around his neck as an extra protective measure to ensure he was trapped within the room. Even after knotting his own hand and spending hours masturbating, Asami still felt unsatisfied. It was less about his rut and more about the lack of a mate. His heart clenched at the thought of never pairing with someone. As he lazily stroked his cock, he promised that no matter what, he would find someone worth pairing with.

*20 Years Later*
Asami smiled as he saw the dirty sneakers in the genkan of his penthouse. He knew his lover was preparing them meals for his upcoming heat and Asami's upcoming rut.
Stalking over to the blond in the kitchen, Asami grabbed Akihito by the waist and nuzzled against his neck. Although it had taken several years before Akihito moved in with him, it was always exciting for Asami to return home knowing his little defiant Omega would be waiting in the penthouse.
After being locked up during his first rut when he was 18, Asami had spent almost every following rut with a random stranger or acquaintances or anyone he thought could fill the void in his heart. No one ever seemed to be enough.
It was merely a coincidence that he found his true mate. Akihito had been trying to capture Asami in his viewfinder and Asami was trying to teach him to never mess with Asami Ryuichi. The two met and the rest is history.
After sharing his rut with Akihito, it felt like everything Asami wanted when he was 18 had finally come true because not only did he have someone to pair with, he had his true mate.
