"Hello, Annie," Connor said as she glared at him.

"I asked you a question," Annie said, folding her arms under her breasts.

"You know these guys?" Lisa asked.

"Yeah. I know them."

"Look. We don't want any trouble. We'll go," Connor said while holding his hands up in surrender and Murphy held up his hands.

"Oh no," Annie said as she stood toe-to-toe with Connor and they locked eyes. "You just don't breeze out of my life for eight years, blow back in then leave."

"Uh, who are these guys?" Darcy asked.

"They're my brothers."

"Wait. These are your Connor and Murphy?!" Lisa asked with wide eyes.

"You told them about us?" Connor asked.

"Yeah, I told them. Now, will you stop using that stupid accent?!" Annie asked, rolling her eyes.

"What're you talking about? This is how I normally sound."

"Knock it off!"

Connor saw the sadness in his little sister's eyes as he pulled her into a hug and she wrapped her arms around him.

"You didn't answer my question. What are you doin' here?" Annie asked in a soft voice, looking at Connor's chest. She had dropped her accent and he lightly rubbed her back.

"Like I told yer friend there," Connor said, looking at Diego as he dropped the accent. "We're lookin' fer work."

"He said they used to work on a sheep farm," Darcy said.

"Is that where you've been?" Annie asked, looking at Connor.

"Aye," Connor said with a nod.

"Why you didn't tell me?"

"Can we talk about that later?"

"Connor, this ain't workin'. Let's go," Murphy said, looking at the white truck.

"I told you no, you fuckin' eejit!" Annie said with anger in her voice as she moved away from Connor, walked to Murphy and they locked eyes. They glared at each other as Connor felt the anger and stubbornness coming from his twin and Connor sighed.

"What are you gonna do if we try t'leave?" Murphy asked.

"Try me an' find out," Annie said.

"Bring it."

"Are they usually like this?" Lisa asked Connor.

"Most days," Connor said when he went to stand next to Murphy and Annie glanced at him. "Both of you knock it off. Now."

"Then tell him t'stop actin' like an eejit," Annie said.

"I ain't an eejit!" Murphy said, pointing his right index finger at her. "But you are actin' like a brat!"

"Me?! Look who's talkin'!"

"Right," Connor said with a sigh and he gently lifted Annie off her feet, placed her over his right shoulder and he started to walk away.

"Put me down!" Annie shouted, lightly pounding his back.

"In a bit."

Murphy followed them while Diego, Darcy and Lisa looked at each other and Diego shrugged.

Connor headed for the paddock fence when he placed Annie on her feet and Murphy went to lean against the fence rail. She looked from one to the other when she sighed and she crossed her arms under her breasts.

"You ready t'tell me what th'fuck is goin' on?" Annie asked.

"You gotta know most of it," Connor said.

"You talkin' about that Saints shit?"

"Aye."

"You really took on th'Russian mafia?"

"Aye, we did," Murphy said.

She listened while they took turns telling her about what happened on Saint Patrick's Day and she lightly smiled.

"Ma called me an' she told me what she did," she said.

"She has a wicked sense of humor," Connor said.

"Ok. I get you two wantin' to help your friend save his bar, but did you really pull a toilet out of th'floor?"

Connor moved his sleeves back when he showed her the faded scars on his wrists and she lightly touched the scars.

"Shit," she whispered.

He moved the sleeves back when they told her about meeting Smecker, their calling, killing the Russian mafia boss and teasing Rocco and she softly laughed.

"That was so mean," she said, lightly shoving Connor.

"He was used t'us pullin' his chain," Murphy said.

Annie saw the sadness in their eyes when she nodded her head and they told her the rest of the story.

"Wait. Da…? Da wanted t'kill you?" she asked.

Connor and Murphy were two when their father was arrested and Annie was only a week old. When Annie was sixteen, their mother, Annabelle, finally talked to her about him, but she didn't say why he left them. Connor and Murphy had also told her some stories about him, but the idea of their father wanting to kill her brothers caused anger to bubble inside her.

"Aye. He told us "Papa Joe" Yakavetta had gotten him outta jail an' he sent him after us," Murphy said.

"Did Da know who you were?" she asked.

"Not at first," Connor said. They finished telling her the story as she sighed and he pulled her in for a hug.

"Why did Da take you into hiding?" she asked as she slipped into her American accent.

"I guess he thought doin' that would help us find some sense of peace."

"For eight years?!"

Nodding, Connor held her when Murphy walked closer and he slid his arms around her. Annie had often thought about how much she missed being in the middle of her brothers' hugs when she was upset and she reached back to touch the left side of Murphy's head.

"What about the rest of it? Why didn't you tell me you were back?" she asked.

"If you promise not t'hit us, I'll tell you," Connor said.

"I promise."

Connor and Murphy took turns telling her about what happened with their priest, meeting Romeo and what happened with the Roman and Connor felt her body tensing up. She started shaking as the tears came and he held her head against his chest. She lightly slammed her fists into his back while he rocked her and Murphy held her a little tighter. Once she settled down, Murphy let go as Annie moved back and Connor reached into the pocket of his jeans, removing a clean handkerchief. He handed the handkerchief to her as she wiped her eyes and nose and he gave her a concerned look.

"Shit," she whispered.

"Do you want t'know th'rest?" Murphy asked.

"Yeah."

They took turns telling her about surrendering to the FBI, Romeo and how they got out of prison and she frowned.

"So, this Smecker guy…? He was using you or he wanted to once he got you out of prison?" Annie asked.

"Looks like," Connor said.

"Which means you're not only hiding from the law, but him."

"Which is why we need t'go," Murphy said.

"For the last time, you are not going anywhere!" she growled.

"We don't want t'get you in trouble," Connor said.

"You were always getting me in trouble!"

Connor and Murphy looked at each other as they had a silent conversation and they nodded.

"Do you think yer friends will let us stay?" Connor asked.

"Considering we need the help, they don't have a choice," she said, lightly poking him in the chest. Smiling, Connor held out his right hand as she wrapped their fingers together and Murphy followed as they headed for the farmhouse. Annie noticed the puzzled look on Diego, Darcy and Lisa's faces when they stopped in front of them and Annie let go of Connor's hand.

"They're staying," Annie said.

"Ok. Let's go inside so we can talk about what we need you to do," Lisa said.

"Lead th'way," Connor said and he swore she was smiling.

Diego watched them walking to the stairs when he made a small whistle and Devil followed him as he headed for the stairs.

Lisa opened the screen door as they walked inside and a cold chill moved through Murphy.

"Christ," he whispered, looking around with his eyes.

"Lord's name," Connor whispered.

"Let's talk in the kitchen. I'll put on some coffee," Lisa said. She led the way to the kitchen while Murphy stood near the screen door and Diego wondered why he was just standing there.

"Annie, I think there's something wrong with your brother," Diego said. Connor and Annie looked at each other when they half-ran to Murphy and Murphy sighed, blinking his eyes a few times.

"Murphy?" Annie asked and he looked at her. "What's wrong?"

"It's nothin'," Murphy said with a shake of his head then he headed down the hallway toward the kitchen. Connor went to follow him while Diego looked at Annie and she had a worried look on her face.

"Is he on something?" Diego asked.

"No," she snapped. He watched her head for the kitchen when she looked down at Devil, frowned and they headed down the hallway.

In the kitchen, Murphy felt a cold chill move through him while he stood near the table and he scanned the room with his eyes. His mind replayed the dream as he tried not to look over at the cabinet where the coffee mugs were and he held onto the top of the chair.

"Have a seat," Darcy said while Lisa went to pour the coffee in the coffee mugs. They sat down as Devil went to settle next to Murphy and Murphy reached down to pat the top of the gray wolf's head. He was slightly startled when Lisa placed the red coffee mug in front of him and she sweetly smiled at him.

"Sorry," Lisa said and he nodded. She sat down next to Connor while Darcy and Lisa looked at Connor and Murphy and Lisa did notice Annie looked like Murphy.

"Right," Lisa started then she paused to take a sip of coffee. "Were you telling us the truth about the two of you knowing how to ride a horse?"

"Aye. I was tellin' you th'truth," Connor said.

"Then you know how to take care of them?"

"Aye. How many horses do you have?"

"We have twenty-two horses," Lisa said.

"How many heads of cattle do you have?"

Lisa told him as he nodded then Connor took a sip of coffee.

"What about calves? How many do you have?" Connor asked.

"Right now? We have twenty," Darcy said.

"Are they kept with th'cows or do they have their own paddock?"

"We keep the calves in a separate paddock," Diego said.

"Do you raise th'cows an' calves fer meat or are some of th'cows used as dairy cows?"

"Where did he learn how to raise cows?" Annie whispered to Murphy and Murphy shrugged.

"I know shit," Connor snapped and she sank slightly into the chair.

"Hey! Don't talk to her like that!" Diego warned as he glared at Connor.

"I'm her brudder. I can talk t'her any way I want."

"Connor…," Annie warned and he nodded.

"We raise the cows for both. We sell the calves for meat. Except for the bull calves. We sell those to other ranches," Lisa answered and Connor nodded.

"Do you only raise horses an' cows?" Murphy asked then he took a sip of coffee.

"No. We have chickens, two roosters and some baby chicks. We also have a hog, a sow and six piglets."

"Do you sell th'chicks an' chickens?"

"Yes," Lisa said.

"What about th'piglets? Do you sell them?" Connor asked.

"Yes," Darcy said when something rubbed against Murphy's right leg and he looked down to see a black cat.

"Hey, Kitty," Murphy said. Darcy looked down at the cat when she smiled and he reached down to let the cat sniff his fingers. The cat sniffed his fingers then walked away and he remembered the cat from the dream. "Same t'you."

"Sorry. He does that."

"That's ok."

"So, do we get th'job?" Connor asked.

"Yeah," Lisa said.

"What do you want us t'do first?"

"I was thinking of letting Diego show you around today. Maybe do a little barn work…"

"Barn work? Like what? Cleanin' out th'stalls an' shit?"

"Something like that."

"Ok."

"Then let's get you guys started."

"Can they unpack first?" Annie asked with a small laugh.

"Sure," Darcy said.

"Are we sleepin' in th'bunkhouse?" Connor asked.

"No. You're sleeping here," Annie said. She noticed the surprised look on Diego's face as they stood and Annie led Connor and Murphy out of the room.

"Annie, you don't have t'do this. We'll be fine in th'bunkhouse," Connor said.

"No. You're family."

'An' you don't want us t'cause trouble," Murphy said, pointing his left index finger at her.

"I know you're gonna cause trouble," she teased and she lightly nudged him in the ribs. Murphy slid his right arm around her shoulders while Connor opened the screen door and they walked outside. They headed for the white truck and Connor reached into the back of the truck. He removed two backpacks as Annie looked at the backpacks and Murphy lightly shrugged his shoulder. They headed for the stairs then went back inside and she pointed to the staircase. They went upstairs while the cold chill moved through Murphy again and he followed her down the hallway.

"Ok, I know you two like being in the same room, but I think it would be better if you slept in separate rooms. So, Connor, you can have this room," Annie said, pointing to the room to their left. Connor went in the room as he closed the door and she turned to look at Murphy. "That's your room."

Murphy stood in the doorway when he slowly walked in the room and he closed the door. He scanned the room with his eyes when his mind replayed the room in his dream and he dropped the backpack on the floor. He walked to the bathroom doorway when he looked at the bathroom and he felt a little dizzy. He walked to the bed when he sat down, placed his head in his hands and he sighed.

"Murphy?" made him look up when he walked to the door and he opened the door. Connor had felt his twin's distress and Murphy saw the worry in his eyes. He moved back so Connor could go in the room and Murphy closed the door. Connor watched Murphy walking to the bed when Murphy sat down and Connor leaned against the wall.

"Ok. What's wrong?" Connor asked.

"You're not gonna believe me," Murphy said.

"Try me."

Connor walked to the bed when he sat next to Murphy and Murphy sighed.

"Th'other night….? Back when we were in that motel…?" Murphy started then he paused to figure out what he wanted to say. "I had a strange dream."

"I had a strange dream, too. Never asked you what was yer dream was about."

"I woke up in a room. I didn't know where I was, but I wasn't scared. I got outta bed, went into th'bathroom an' looked around. After that, I went to th'door, opened th'door an' left th'room."

"Did you see anyone?"

"Nope."

"What happened next?"

"I went down th'hallway…," Murphy continued. "That's when I found what looked like a kid's bathroom. Next thing I knew, there was this black cat behind me."

"What did it do?"

"It just sniffed my fingers an' fucked off."

Connor smiled then he waited for Murphy to continue.

"I went downstairs an' went into th'kitchen. I looked around when I saw th'coffee mugs in th'cupboard. I went to look at them and that's when I saw th'red coffee mug."

"Like th'one whatshername gave you?"

"That's th'thing. It was th'same one."

"It was?"

"Aye," Murphy said with a nod. "I was about reach fer th'coffee mug when someone or summat pulled on my fingers. I woke up before I could see who or what it was."

"Ok. So, why is it buggin' you?"

"This is where you're gonna think I lost my mind."

"Tell me."

"Everything I saw. It was… It was here. In this house. This bedroom. Th'bathroom. Th'hallway. Th'cat. That fuckin' coffee mug. All of it. That's why I froze when we came in th'house. It was like I was back in that fuckin' dream."

Murphy stood up as he started pacing and Connor watched him. The sense of confusion, anger and frustration moved over him in waves as Connor stood and he walked to his twin. He placed his hands on Murphy's shoulders as they locked eyes and he felt Murphy shaking.

"I'm goin' nuts, aren't I?" Murphy asked.

"No, you're not goin' nuts," Connor said.

"Then what's goin' on?"

"I have no fuckin' clue."

"Guys, is everything alright?" Annie asked and they looked at the door. Murphy walked to the door when he opened the door and Annie saw the sadness and worry in her brother's eyes. He moved back so she could go in the room and he closed the door. She walked to the middle of the room, turned to look at Murphy and Murphy walked closer. "Mind telling me what's going on?"

Connor and Murphy looked at each other when Murphy sighed and he pointed for her to sit on the bed. She went to sit when Murphy explained and Annie gave him a confused look.

"Have you ever had a dream like that before?" Annie asked.

"No," Murphy said.

"I fergot t'ask. Was I in it?" Connor asked.

"No, you weren't. The thing is… The thing is there was this feelin' of… Of… I dunno," he said, tossing his hands in the air.

Annie looked at Murphy as an old feeling of protectiveness moved through her and she rose to her feet, walked to him and she hugged him. Murphy held her as a feeling of safety moved through him and she looked at him.

"Feel better?" Annie asked.

"Aye," he said with a small grin.

"Then I better let you get unpacked."

"Um…. I jus' thought of summat. Are we gonna have t'fill in any paperwork?" Connor asked.

"Yeah, but don't worry. I'll handle it."

"How?" Murphy asked.

"Let's just say I know people in high places."

"You mean Uncle?" Connor asked.

"Yeah."

"You know how t'get in contact with him?' Murphy asked.

"Yeah."

"An' you trust him?" Connor asked.

"Don't you?"

"Yeah, but I don't like th'idea of gettin' him involved."

"If you think about it, he already is. And he owes you."

"Fer what?" Murphy asked.

"For getting you involved in Da's mess with the Roman. If they had just let you take out the asshole who killed your priest, you would have gone home right?"

"Right," Connor said.

"Then just relax, unpack and leave everything to me."

They watched her walk to the door when she opened the door then she left the room. Connor headed for the doorway when he left the room and Murphy walked to the backpack. He picked up the backpack when he walked to the bed, placed the backpack on the bed and he opened the backpack. He suddenly felt like he was being watched as he turned and the black cat walked in the room. Murphy slowly sat on the floor as the black cat walked to him, got onto his lap and curled into a ball. Murphy leaned against the side of the bed when he started scratched the black cat's ears and he sighed, barely shaking his head.

Later that night, Connor and Murphy had showered and change clothes as they walked into the kitchen and Anne smiled at them. Connor looked at the three boys and the little girl sitting at the kitchen table and the kids gave them a curious look.

"Kids…," Lisa said as she placed the pasta in the large bowl and the kids looked at her. "This is Connor and Murphy. They're Annie's brothers."

"Hey," Connor said with a small wave.

"Why are they here?" Chandler asked.

"They're here to help us with the ranch," Annie said. Diego and Devil walked in the room as he looked at Connor and Murphy and the red flags appeared in his head again.

"Annie told us about her brothers," Peter explained to Connor while Lisa placed the bowl of pasta on the table.

"Yeah. She said you used to live in Ireland," Mark said.

"We did," Murphy said then he noticed the smile on Nichole's face. 'What's with th'smile?"

"You talk funny," Nichole said with a giggle.

"Nichole," Darcy scolded.

"No, it's ok," he said as he walked to the booster seat then he knelt down on his haunches. "You're right. I do talk funny,"

"Why?"

"Because I come from somewhere where people talk like this."

"Why?"

"Because they do."

"Why?"

"Ah, I see where this is goin'," he said as he stood up and she looked up at him. He gave her a small smile and she pointed to the chair next to her. "You want me t'sit here?"

"Yeah!"

With a shrug of his shoulders, Murphy sat down while Darcy watched him make faces to get Nichole laugh and Darcy gave him a pleased look. The others sat down as Lisa served dinner and Annie noticed the looks Diego was giving Connor and Murphy. She lightly bumped her right knee against his left knee and he glanced at her. She shook her head as he sighed and they started eating.

"Connor?" Peter asked and Connor looked at him. "Why do you and Murphy look a little bit alike?"

"Oh," Connor said as he took a sip of white wine then swallowed, placing the glass on the table. "That's because we're fraternal twins."

"What does that mean?" Mark asked.

Connor and Murphy took turns explaining as the boys nodded and Nichole poked the back of Murphy's right hand.

"What?" Murphy asked.

"Nothin'," she said with a giggle and she kept poking the back of his right hand. Smiling, he pulled his right arm away so she couldn't poke him and he gave her a sad look. She frowned and placed her thumb in her mouth when Murphy moved his arm back and she slid her thumb out of her mouth. "Sorry."

"It's ok," he said with a tiny grin.

"He's great with kids, isn't he?" Darcy asked, looking at Annie.

"It's because he is one," Annie teased and Murphy stuck his tongue out at her. "See?"

"Mom, Mister Murphy's not using proper table manners," Mark said.

"Yeah. He needs to behave or he doesn't get dessert," Peter said.

"Is that a dinner rule?" Murphy asked.

"Yes, it is," Lisa said with a small nod, but she hid her smile behind her glass of white wine. Nodding, Murphy went back to eating his dinner when Lisa noticed the smile on Connor's face and she arched an eyebrow.

"That goes for you, too," she said and Connor looked at her. Nodding, Connor went back to eating his dinner and Lisa grinned, leaning back in the chair.

A short time later, Murphy walked out of the bathroom when he headed for the bed then he stopped when he saw the black cat curled up on the bed.

"An' what do you think you're doin'?" he asked, walking to the bed. He knelt down on his haunches when he scratched the top of the black cat's head and the black cat purred.

"Sorry about that," made Murphy turn to see Darcy standing in the doorway. She noticed he was wearing boxers and her eyes locked on the demon tattoos on his back.

"What's th'cat's name?" he asked, standing up. She quickly scanned his body with her eyes when he turned and he gently picked the black cat off the bed,

"His name is "Ebony"."

"Ebony," he repeated as he held the cat against his chest.

"It's funny. He normally doesn't want people to hold him."

"Guess he likes me," he said then he titled his head to one side. "Did you want summat?"

"Just wanted to say goodnight."

"Oh. G'night."

"Did you want me to take him?"

"Nah," he said with a shake of his head. He watched her leaving the room when he looked at Ebony and he headed for the bed. Placing the black cat on the pillow, Murphy moving the bedding back, went to turn the light off then he walked to the bed and he got under the bedding. He moved the bedding up as he looked at the ceiling then he cupped the cross in his hands. He started praying after he closed his eyes then he kissed the cross, held the cross against his chest and he sighed.

"Stop thinkin' about it," he grumbled as he closed his eyes, but it took a long time before he could fall asleep.
