"Ready to go, and have some holiday fun, at my dad and Gamora's house." Shocket asked seeing Petal nodding wearing her scarf nodding in excitement seeing Ducky alomg with Firestar and Gravity in scarves wearing gloves while Linda was wearing her coat and boots nodding, eskimo-kissing not caring if their friends saw, because Firestar and Gravity knew how close their co-leaders were.
"Yep, plus your dad's hilarious, and can't wait to meet your sisters." Firestar said.
It was early-evening and Linda and Shocket, alomg with Firestar and Gravity were leaving their apartment, to go to Gamora and Rocket's house to help decorate their tree but for Linda and Shocket it was an annual tradition so was sharing it with their friends so couldn't wait to teach them, some of the family traditions Gamora and Rocket had instilled in their house.
Linda could hear singing as they rang the doorbell, chuckling hearing Gamora telling Rocket to get the door, seeing a giant smirk on his furry face seeing them alomg with Firestar and Gravity, asking if they could come in, hearing him giggle softly.
"Of ciurse you can, you're family even your new friends and impressed you brought them and we were waiting patiently for you." he told her as Linda and Shocket hugged him making Firestar and Gravity chuckle because it was sweet entering with their co-leaders in awe of the big tree in the living-room, or the fact there were stockijgs alomg with a menorah and dreidels which Shocket knew that Firestar and Gravity needed an explanation just in case putting on her yamaka, which Lijda loved seeing her wear this time of year helping her explain how her family doubled down on the holidays mixing Hannukah which their dad celebrated with Christmas, meaning she, Casey, Emily and RJ got buttloads of presents.
"Oh that's awesome, plus we brought decorations too." Gravity answered.
"Ummm daddy, a lil somebody took your tail again, you want me to get it back." Shocket whispered to her dad making him face-palm seeing his youngest kit, RJ had stolen his prosethic tail again wondering why the toddler-cub did it relieved he had only did it at Linda and Shocket's graduation-party yet he still felt embarrassed, when RJ did it.
"RJ Raccoon, give dadfy his tail back, do you want Santa not to bring you toys." Gamora told him seeing an anxious look on his face giving his mom his dad's tail making Shocket and Lijda anxious too, hearing Gamora mention Santa.
"You two alright, was it something Gammy said." Rocket heard Gravity asked confused.
"Tivon used totell us that Santa was a monster that would eat us, if we disobeyed him." Linda whispered to them making both Firestar and Gravity surprised, wanting to help Ducky and Shocket not be afraid of Santa making Rocket smile.
"Go ahead, as Gammy and I have told Casey, Emily and RJ that Santa's a good guy who brings joy to everybody on Christmas Eve, so go and help her see that." Rocket said to them while Shocket was putting her ornament on the family tree, seeing both Firestar and Gravity agreeing.
"We'll do our best, but let's play soke dreidel." Gravity said.
Rocket grinned as he taught them how to play adding actual momey on top of the chocolate-coins making them, Ducky and Shocket along with Gamora joining in with them making Rocket happy, as they were playing laughing joyfully and giggling being dorks unaware Casey was livestreaming this for Youtube.
"Yeah, dad wins the pot, wait you weren't cheating, or using a dad trick." Gamora said.
"Nope fair and square, no dad tricks here." Rocket told her showing his paws.
"Wow, I've never heard dad tell the truth like that before, it must be the holiday spirit." Shocket told her making Rocket grin, at her words squeezing her paw seeing her scared seeing a Santa ornament hoping that Firestar and Gravity could convince her and Ducky that Santa wasn't some scary monster like Tivon had told them.
"Shockie, Santa isn't a monster, he gives joy every year, you gotta believe us." Casey said to her seeing her drinkijg hot cocoa which was helping her relax, but enjoying the mini-smores making Linda understanding, squeezing her paw gently knowing the holidays would be fun regardless of Santa.
"Yeah, thanks Ducky you have a point plus it's about family, awww Branchie and Petal are together and colouring, they're so cute together." Casey pointed out, seeing they'd made their Santa letters by sketching what they wanted, guessing Santa couldn't read Groot which was clever.
"Daddy can you come over for a second." she whispered to Rocket.
He was impressed seeing Branchie and Petal's Santa letters, impressed saying he'd help send them right away putting them into envelopes writing Santa's address on them adding stamps.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie told him seeing Petal nod.
"You'ee welcome you two, you wanna play with us." Rocket said.
"I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot." they replied to him.
They were joining him and the others after putting their art stuff away, like Casey and Shocket had taught them, grinning joining them and having fun as the holidays were good family-time seeing Gamora agreeing on this taking RJ to bed as it was his bedtime so Rocket kissed his head before she went upstairs.
Around midnight or one in the morning, they had to go home but Branchie was on Shocket's shoulder and sleepy which Linda and Shocket thought adorable along with Firestar and Gravity to their apartment getting into pyjamas, andLinda saw Shocket really tired, beckoning her into bed with her and Helen.
"Yeah it's been a lomg day, but fun." she said kissing Linda giggling yawning.
"Last night wasfun with decorating the tree, having food, singing and playing games like driedl only we've got to help the girls like Santa, like Rocket said besides we did get home late so they're sleeping like logs, no offence Branchie." Gravity told Firestar the next morning.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie replied to them making them smile.
"That's right, Santa isn't scary, but we'll help them learn that." Firestar said.
Right now, Branchie was wearing a Santa hat with lil red pyjamas with snowflakes on them which made her think of the snow and right now, she wanted to play in it and do snow art giving Gravity an idea getting her paper and saw her get her art stuff saying she could do some art making the female sapling grin.
