I walked into the women's locker room and, once again, like for many weeks lately, around my stuff sat a few dozen roses. My best friend Lexi looked at me and teased me a bit like she had been doing these past few weeks.
"Whoever this is just keeps sending more. Cheyenne has got her a secret admirer," Lexi chuckled.
"Shut it Lex!" I said to her as I turned red. The other girls in the locker room looked on. Whoever this was was going all out. And, hell, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't honored. I felt amazing. As long as it wasn't a prank of course.
"Oh c'mon someone is trying to earn your heart," Becky chuckled.
"Wait, what's this," Liv said as she pulled a box with a ribbon out from my area in the locker room.
"The hell," I said as I grabbed the box and opened it, three dozen french macarons. My guilty pleasure. Shit, who the hell was this?
"Girl they even got your favorite dessert," Carmella said with a smile.
"Okay forreal, who is this?" I said.
"Did they leave a no..." Lexi began as she was looking through the roses, "Ah-ha here we go!"
"What? They left a note?" I said curiously.
"Roses for a Rose with a smile that lights up even my darkest days," Lexi said as she read the note aloud. "Wait for me outside tonight after the show."
"That's so sweet!" Carmella cooed.
"Are you going to wait for them?" Bianca piped in.
"Should I?" I said as I pondered whether or not this was a trick. I had trust issues, big ones. I'd been led on and used a few times by guys, so for me to trust someone? Yeah, it was hard.
"Yes!" Becky said.
"I second that," Lexi said.
"You're not going to know until you see," Rhea piped in from off in the corner of the locker room. I sighed, she was right.
"Okay, fine, I'll wait on this mysterious stranger," I said.
"I don't think its a stranger, though girl," Lexi said. "I'm pretty sure its someone we know."
"You think so?" I asked her.
"Definitely," she agreed.
I sighed, "I swear if someone's playing a trick on me. They're getting their ass kicked!"
"Chey," Lexi said as she put a hand on my arm, "Girl, those trust issues have got to stop. You're going to eventually have to trust someone again. I know, I know. I totally get it. (she said this as I eyed her) Girl, I think this person, whoever they are, is being genuine."
"I hope you're right," I sighed as I shook my head.
"She's right, Chey," Becky said as she came up and squeezed my shoulder affably.
So I waited. I waited the whole day, through the show and all that, then I waited out by my car that Lexi and I were going to share. Lexi was nowhere to be seen and half the wrestlers had already left. I was getting impatient. Were they going to show? Or was this, as I suspected, a trick.
"Looks like you're waiting on someone," a familiar Irish accent called from across the parking lot.
"It appears they're not coming," I said with a smart ass tone as I turned to face my friend Finn Balor.
"Or they just arrived," Finn said with a smile as he joined me.
"Wha?" I said I couldn't even finish my sentence. "Wait, it's you?"
Okay in all honesty. I may have had a crush on Finn since the first moment we met. We were such good friends, though, I didn't want to make things awkward if he didn't like me back.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Finn said offensively.
"No, no, sorry I make it sound like I'm not thrilled because I am," I said to him.
"Wait, you are?" he said in shock.
"Yes! Oh my God Finn you have no idea how long I've wanted to tell you how I felt about you. If I knew you felt anywhere near the same..."
"So you have feelings for me as well?" he asked.
"Duh!" I said as I went up and wrapped my arms around his waist. "Finn I've always liked you. I just didn't want to ruin our friendship."
"Seriously?" he said to me. "That's how I felt."
"Then why the sudden courage?" I asked him.
"You can thank Rhea," he said with a chuckle. "After she found out I liked you, she encouraged me to express my feelings."
"I'm going to kill her," I squeaked. "She knew."
"Of course she did," Finn chuckled and shook his head. "I guess me, her, and Damian becoming a stable was like fate."
"I guess so," I smiled. "Wait, does Lexi know? She should've been here ages ago."
"I let her know right after show ended, she promised not to tell, she's gotten another ride. It's just you and me tonight, love."
"You know what you've done for me is like the most sweetest, romantic thing any guy has ever done for me," I said to him with a smile with my arms still around his waist.
"I know, that was the whole point," he said with a smile as he leaned down, put a hand on my chin and brought our lips together. The feelings I felt in that one kiss. Wow. If only I could put it into words. I thought I had been in love before? Ha! What a joke that was. The love, respect, and how cherished I felt through that one kiss. I knew it then and there, I was definitely in love with Finn. Not just some school girl crush.
"How was that?" Finn asked as he pulled away. I was speechless, "'ave I made you speechless?"
"Shut up," I said to him with a smile as I pulled him in for yet another kiss.
"Even better than I imagined," Finn said with a smile as he pulled away.
"I guess I could say the same," I said to him with a grin.
"C'mon gorgeous, let's get the car loaded. You want me to drive?" he said to me.
"Sure, if you want," I said to him.
"As long as you pick the music, am I right?" he smiled.
"Ah, you know me so well," I said to him with a grin as I scrunched my nose and stuck my tongue out at him.
"I do," he said with a smile as he hugged me tight.
"Are you going to ask me anything?" I asked him as I pulled back and looked at him. A brow raised, challenging him.
"Will you, Cheyenne Rose be my girlfriend?" Finn asked me hopefully.
"How could I say no to that face," I grinned and leaned in for another mind blowing kiss. "Okay if we don't go now we're going to stand here all night making out." I chuckled, making Finn chuckle as well.
"C'mon love," Finn said as he led me to the passenger's side of the car and opened the door for me, then closing when I got in. All those fears I had. I felt like an idiot. Finn wasn't that kind of guy. How could we both have gone all this time liking each other and not saying anything? I felt like an idiot.
"Thank you," I said to him as he got in the car.
"For?" he asked.
"Everything," I said to him with a smile. "The roses, the macarons, being so sweet, always being there for me, finally having the courage to say something. I have to thank Rhea when I see her, too."
"I'd do anything for you, y'know that?" he said to me as he grabbed my hand and crunk the car up.
"I do now," I said to him with a grin. "I feel the same with you ya' know."
"Good, I'm gonna take good care of you baby," he said to me as he leaned in and kissed my forehead.
We got on the road to the next town. Finn looked at me expectantly. "What?" I said.
"I thought you were controlling the music," he said to me with a grin.
"Ah, yes," I said with a smile. I pulled out my phone, pulled up my favorites playlist, plugged the aux cord in and hit shuffle. Itzy's "Wannabe" the English version started playing. Finn smiled at me and gave me a "what are you waiting for?" look. I smiled and started singing along. Finn knew, he was one of the ones that did know my hidden talent. I was an excellent singer and rapper and dancer. I was a trifecta. And I could wrestle.
"That's something I'll never get tired of," Finn hummed in approval as I sang and sort of danced along with the song. Finn always loved to hear me sing, watch me dance. He was always so encouraging, always so supportive. I never knew how much it meant, until now.
"Wannabe" faded out and made way for "Waka Boom (My Way)" by Hyolyn. I went hard. I was obsessed with this song lately, or, at least, it was one I was obsessed with lately.
When the song ended, I turned the music down a bit and started talking to Finn. He told me about telling his newest friends about his crush on me and Rhea's strong encouragement to confess to me. I told him she may or may not have told about me gushing about him to Lexi and Becky. Finn couldn't believe Becky didn't tell him, I told him I swore her to secrecy. Him and Becky were close. Then he asked if Seth knew. I nodded. He chuckled.
"I swear, I begged them not to say anything to you," I said to him.
"Thing is, Seth knew how I felt about you, I can't believe he didn't try to hook us up," Finn said with a smile shaking his head.
"Because if he did, he'd know I'd think he betrayed me," I said to him. "He didn't want to face my wrath." Finn chuckled loudly.
"Of course," Finn said shaking his head. "People know not to get on your bad side."
"You know this," I laughed. People have been burned by me before. I was not one whose bad side you wanted to be on. I could be a bitch. And, at times, a petty bitch. But only if you made me that way. If you were on my good side, I could be your best friend. I'd be the sweetest southern belle. All my friends knew this. As did most of the locker room, male and female.
"Ah, yes, love, I do," he agreed. After he said this, Adele's "Easy On Me" started playing. Finn turned the song up a bit then said, "I love when you sing this." So I sang it for him. The song faded out and BlackPink's "Whistle" started playing. It was one of their first songs, and one of the reasons I fell in love with them from day one. I was a well known Blink among the fans. I had even made friends with some fans over my love for them. Of course they weren't my bias group, but pretty close to it.
I bonded with a lot of my fans over my love for K-Pop music. I even made friends with people outside of the wrestling world on social media over K-Pop. I even made friends with K-Pop artists. I spoke Korean fluently, hell, I had been listening to K-Pop for twelve years now. Nine of those years I was in wrestling, seven in WWE.
All my friends totally bought into my love for K-Pop and were constantly buying me gifts when my favorite groups had comebacks. Me and Sasha Banks were pretty close over our love for K-Pop, me and Xavier Woods too. I appeared on his youtube channel. And he was always encountering me to get my own to connect with the fans even more. Actually, it was being talked about among the higher ups.
"By the way," I said, now thinking of the possible youtube channel, "I haven't told you, they're thinking of letting me open my own youtube."
"That's great Chey!" Finn said excitedly.
"Yeah, I was going to do vlogs, and covers, reactions, maybe some unboxings of albums. That way I could connect with my fans more. And with the K-Pop fans as well. Of course, I'm going to share my other music loves like Eminem for example. My old fav groups like Fall Out Boy, Paramore, and Evanescence. My love for newer artists like Taylor Swift, Little Mix, Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, etc. Things like that. I'm, honestly super excited. I really hope they approve it. Either way I've already gotten a camera and everything ready for the approval."
"Are you going to let everyone know we're dating now?" he asked.
"If you want," I said to him with a smile.
"I'd really like that," he said back with a smile.
"Awesome!" I grinned wickedly. "I really hope they approve this thing!"
"Xavier really made you want one huh?" he said to me.
"Yeah," I laughed. "Honestly, it's something I've wanted to do for a while. When I discovered vloggers and all that. And you know it won't be scripted and all that. It's just all about me and my life. Showing my point of view. You know I've turned down Total Divas numerous times. If I'm gonna have a camera in my face off WWE TV, I want it to be mine, ya know?"
"Yeah, definitely," he nodded in agreement. "A reality show isn't your kind of thing."
"Exactly," I agreed. "You know me so well."
He smiled, "I do. Which is why I like you so much."
I grinned, "I think it goes a bit farther than that."
Finn chuckled, "Maybe you're right."
"Admit it, you're in love with me, like I am with you," I said to him.
"Yes, Cheyenne, if you must know," Finn said with a low chuckle. "I'm madly, deeply in love with you. Honestly, I wanted to put it on the note, but I didn't want to scare you away."
"What you put was perfect," I said to him as I grabbed his hand. "Super sweet, totally won me over even more, especially now that I know it was coming from you."
"The roses were okay too?" he asked.
"Yes!" I said to him, "Of course, and of course, the macarons today. The cherry on top. You're so sweet and romantic."
"That was the plan," he said with a happy sigh.
"I'm yours now," I said to him, "Happily and officially."
"About damn time," he grunted then laughed. I laughed with him.
"I feel ya on that one," I agreed.
"I'm yours too, y'know," he said to me as he grabbed my hand and held it in his, then kissed it.
"You better be," I huffed, then looked at him and laughed again. He laughed too, then kissed my hand again.
"You hungry?" he asked me before we got on the interstate.
"Yeah," I nodded. "Are you?"
"Yeah," he said.
So we pulled into a fast food burger joint and ordered some food. Then we got back out the road and eventually onto the interstate. We were listening to my favorites playlist on low and when a certain song came on, I smiled and turned it up.
"Tonight" by Spica. Which I had labeled my most favorite song of all time, why you ask? I don't know. I just vibed with it. And it was perfect for this moment. I sang along at full volume. Finn, knowing me as well as he did, knew it was my favorite song. So he smiled as I sang along. As the song ended I smiled and said how much I loved it. Finn smiled and said that he knew, he could tell. He told me he loved when I sang it. I seemed so happy, so content. He loved it when I sang it the most he said to me.
As we drove to the next town, I sang along to my playlist, and Finn and I talked about everything going on in our lives right now. We talked about him and his stable the Judgement Day and getting to work with Adam "Edge" Copeland, which he said was an honor. We talked about how I was going to get in with Becky and Bianca and team against Bayley, Io, and Dakota. We were hoping it would eventually put me in the title picture. Either way I was happy because I was working with two of my good friends.
Then we got to talking about Becky and Seth and then about their daughter Roux. Then came a topic I didn't expect.
"So, do you want kids?" Finn asked me. It kinda caught me off guard.
"Wow, um, well, I'm not 100% against them, just not 100% sure about them either," I said to him.
"Why?" he asked. I should've expected that.
"Well, in all honesty, pregnancy and child birth freak me out. Also, I question whether or not I'd be a good mom. Even, though, I kinda have had baby fever lately. I've had some family members have new babies, and of course there's Roux who I adore. I mean, yeah, I've thought about it. Dreamt about being pregnant actually," I chuckled. "I don't know, I've kinda always said I never really wanted kids, unless someone came along and changed my mind."
"I think you'd be a great mom, you're so good with kids," Finn said to me with a smile. "I've seen you with Roux and she adores you."
At this I smiled, "She has my heart, that adorable little bugger. Becky and Seth make such cute babies."
"Y'know, I think we'd make cute babies," he said to me with a shy smile as a blush crept up on his cheeks.
"You've thought of having babies with me?" I asked him shyly.
"Yes," he said to me honestly, bravely. "I hope that doesn't freak ya out."
"No," I said as I thought about it and smiled. Honestly, I could see myself having kids with Finn. "You're actually someone I could see myself having kids with."
"Really?" Finn said in shock.
"Yes, really," I chuckled then kissed him on the cheek. "This is so embarrassing, but I've actually dreamt about being pregnant with your kid."
"You 'ave?" he said, his brows raised surprise on his face.
I chuckled, "Yes. I never thought I'd hear myself telling you that."
"Oh, Chey," he said as he squeezed my hand, "If only you knew how happy that made me."
"Really?" I squeaked.
"Cheyenne, when I think of the future, you know what I see?" he said to me.
"What?" I asked curiously.
"You," he said as he looked me in the eye for a moment before he turned his attention back to the road. "Always you. For a long time now. So, naturally, starting a family with you has crossed my mind. But, yeah, I feel like you're my future."
Tears welled up in my eyes. Finn wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. Me have his kid or kids. I guess whatever life dealt us. That's exactly what I wanted too. I've imagined what our wedding would be like. I always thought it was a bit creepy, but maybe it wasn't. Finn felt the same way, may have even thought the same things.
"Hey," Finn said as he turned my head towards him, "Are you okay?"
"I'm perfect actually," I sniffed. "Finn we're on the same page here baby."
"You think I'm you're future too?" he said in awe.
"Yes," I cried. "Yes, Finn!"
"We should've said something a long time ago," Finn said to me.
I laughed and wiped my tears, "Ugh, tell me about it. I just didn't want to fuck us up Finn. I didn't want to lose you. It would've killed me."
"Well, you have me now, I'm not going anywhere," he said to me as he kissed my hand, then my temple. "I love you, Cheyenne. I know we just started dating, but I've loved you for a long time now, first as a friend, then more than that. I really wish I would've said something to you a long time ago. I'm sorry I didn't. But, I'm serious, I love you."
"I love you too Finn," I smiled and giggled giddily. I had wanted to hear those words cross his lips for a long time. And now that they finally have? I'm ecstatic.
"Feels damn good to hear that," he said to me.
"I know," I agreed.
We sat in a comfortable silence for a long time, well, if you didn't count my music playing in the background. We held hands the whole way there. When we finally arrived at the hotel in the next town, I didn't want to let him go.
"You wanna come up to my room with me?" I asked him as we were getting our bags out of the car.
"I'd love to," he said to me.
"Okay," I said to him with a smile as we checked in and went up to my room. He put his bags down and helped me with mine. Then we both took turns going into the bathroom and getting changed. He came out in a pair of gym shorts, and I came out in a crop top, with a sports bra underneath, and a pair of cheer shorts.
I went and pulled the covers back on the bed and got in. I patted the spot next to me for him to join me. He smiled and came and cuddled up next to me. He pulled me into his arms and rested my head on his muscular chest. He ran his fingers through my hair, which, unbeknownst to him, was a comfort of mine. I traced patterns on his skin. Then he traced them on mine. I looked up at him and he looked down at me and our lips met in a sweet, romantic kiss.
I was so in love with this man. This talented, handsome, gorgeous, amazing man. I loved him, more than I had ever realized. I never realized how much I needed him in my life until now. Laying here in his arms, as happy and content as ever. And before I knew it, his heartbeat was lulling me off to sleep.
When I awoke in the morning. I was still in Finn's arms as he held onto me tightly. I gently kissed his chest, then stealthily made my way out of his arms and into the bathroom where I started running a shower. I got out something to wear for the day, all my shower supplies, and got in the shower. I stood under the hot water and enjoyed it as it fell down my body. I got my shower, got out, got dressed and walked into the bedroom of my room with a towel in my hair, drying it with it in the process.
I almost jumped ten feet in the air when I saw Finn sitting up on the bed looking at me groggily.
"What?" I said to him as he stare me down.
"Why'd you leave?" he said to me.
"Baby, I only went to get a shower," I said to him.
"I was looking forward to seeing your face when I woke," he said to me.
I felt bad, "I'm sorry," I said to him.
"C'mere," he said to me. I joined him on the bed and went into his arms. He peppered me with kisses and held me there. "You smell so good."
"Thanks," I said with a smile as I looked at him and kissed him.
"Did you have a good shower?" he asked me.
"Nice, hot, and relaxing," I said to him with a grin.
"Mind if I take one, even though I really don't wanna leave you," he said to me.
"Don't mind at all baby," I said to him. "Gotta do my makeup anyways."
"Even, though you don't need it, I'll let you get to it," he said as he kissed my forehead and got up off the bed and got some clothes and headed to the bathroom.
I went to my bags and got my makeup and mirror out and got to work. A winged eyeliner, red lips, natural looking face, neutral eye makeup with nice black lashes.
I wore a Dreamcatcher Kiss shirt from their most recent tour, cropped like Gahyeon wore during their Primavera Sound performance and a skirt like she wore too, red, plaid, pleated a bit high top. Underneath I wore fishnet stockings and a pair of black boots. K-Pop definitely influenced my style. I had plenty of K-Pop outfits and K-Pop inspired outfits. I actually recently got my hair cut like Gahyeon currently had hers a blunt bob. I had extensions I wore sometimes, but lately I went without them. I thought I was going to catch hell from the higher ups for cutting my hair, but they liked it. So all was well.
When Finn returned to the room, he looked at me and smiled. "There's my beautiful lady," he said with a smile.
"And there's my handsome man," I said to him with a smile in return.
"Looking gorgeous as always babe," he said to me as he came and pecked me on the lips.
"Thanks babe," I grinned.
"Y'know, I'm surprised Lexi hasn't busted your door down wanting details about us," Finn said to me.
I laughed, "You know, I am too."
"Call her," he chuckled. "She's probably wondering."
"Probably," I nodded and chuckled myself. Then I grabbed my phone and video chatted her. She picked up after a few rings.
"Chey! Oh my god! What happened with Finn? Tell me everything!" she said to me.
"I confessed my undying love for her and asked her to be mine," Finn said from behind me as he popped in the picture.
"Oh my god!" Lexi shrieked. "Did you two?"
"No!" I said scolding her. "Well we did sleep together but we didn't sleep together."
"Oh my god! Chey! Oh my god! This is just what you wanted. Have you two told each other how you felt like all the way?" she asked.
"Yes," I nodded.
"And we've said 'I love you' already," Finn piped in.
Lexi gasped, "No fucking way! Oh my God you guys! I'm so happy! I knew what he meant to you. If only I knew what you meant to him. I totally would've gotten you together ages ago!"
"Yes and I would've killed you. Seth knew, and I'm pretty sure Becky did too, and because I swore them both to secrecy they didn't try to hook us up. They respected my feelings and fears and all that. I mean don't worry girl, it's all good. We're together now and very happy. We've even had some serious conversations. He and I are on the same page. We feel the same. And we wish we would've said something sooner, but we're satisfied with what we have now and that's all that matters," I said to her.
"Are you two decent? Can I come to your room?" she asked.
"Yes and yes," I said to her.
"I'll be right on up!" she said as she hung up. Finn I looked at each other and laughed. Ah my bestie so enthusiastic about my new relationship with another one of my besties I had had feelings for for ages.
A few minutes later there was a quick knocking at my door, I knew it was her. I went and answered the door. She came in and attacked Finn and I with hugs.
"You guys!" she said as she looked at us. "You two look so happy! Oh my God Finn the way you did that was so sweet, so romantic. I'm so happy for you guys!"
"Thank's Lexi," Finn chuckled.
"Are you two hungry?" she asked us.
"Hmm...sure?" I said to her.
"Why not?" Finn said.
"Okay I'm totally organizing a celebratory breakfast!" she declared.
"Oh come on Lexi!" I said in exhaustion of her enthusiasm.
"Shut up!" she said to me. "I don't want to hear it! Meet me in the lobby in about, eh, fifteen minutes."
"I'm gonna kill you Lexi," I growled at her.
"You won't cuz you love me too much," she said to me with a smile as she posed and then left the room leaving Finn and me alone again.
"I'm gonna murder her," I said to him.
"Knowing her she's probably already planning a wedding," Finn murmured making me laugh.
"She probably is," I agreed.
"Let her get some of our friends together though, it's not going to hurt," he said to me.
"Fine," I sighed.
Fifteen minutes later we were in the lobby. Becky and Seth were there, along with the whole Judgement Day stable. Bianca and the Street Profits guys, Carmella and Corey, AJ Styles, and Liv.
"Girl finally!" Liv said as she came up and hugged me and Finn.
"Bout damn time!" Seth said as he hugged me and Finn.
"What he said," Becky agreed as she hugged us.
"Let's go eat you guys!" Lexi said.
So we all loaded up our cars and made our way to a local place that served breakfast. They sat us all at a big table together. Had to join some together actually, but they didn't mind. Some of the servers were actually fans. We took pictures with them, signed autographs, then got our breakfast ordered. We were all talking to each other about random things before Lexi piped in and hushed everyone up.
"Okay, so we're all here this morning for Cheyenne and Finn who are finally together, so here's to the happy couple!" Lexi said as she held up her mimosa in a toast.
Everyone held up their glasses and congratulated us. We thanked them, Finn and I. I was so glad to finally be with him, out in the open, and everyone knew he was mine and I was his. I loved him to no end. I knew he felt the same about me.
"I am so glad you guys are finally together," Seth said to Finn and me.
"When's the wedding?" Becky asked with a chuckle. Finn and I laughed with her.
"If I play my cards right, hopefully sometime in the nearer future," Finn said.
I looked at him and smiled, "If your proposal was as romantic as you've been these past few weeks, I'm sure I'd say yes right away."
"You better say yes either way," Lexi chuckled. "I would totally look forward to planning yet another wedding!"
"You know I would," I laughed. "I mean, come on, you know how I feel about him."
"Yes," Lexi smiled, "I do. I hope you've let him know."
"I have," I nodded.
"You two are so cute!" Bianca cooed. "Finn, she's always talking about you!"
I blushed, "Oh come on Bianca!"
"Well it's true," Rhea said. "I wanted to tell him, but I let him find out on his own. Thought it was best that way. Now look at the two of you."
"Rhea and I have been in on this for all these weeks," Damian added.
"Thank ya'll," I said to the two of them.
"You and Finn look so happy," Rhea said with a smile. "So it's definitely paid off."
"Aye, that it has," Finn agreed.
"I'm glad she didn't swear you to secrecy," Becky said to Rhea. "She wouldn't let me or Seth say a thing. Do you realize how hard that was? Her over here pining for him, him over there pining for her. Ah, pure torture!"
Everyone busted out laughing. "And, you know, Finn is someone I know I can put my trust in."
"I told you, you had to stop with those trust issues girl," Lexi said.
"I know, I know," I said to her, "It's Finn though, so I know, as I said, nothing to worry about!"
"Just so you know, he caught hell from me for not telling you sooner," AJ spoke up.
"Of course," I chuckled.
"Just know, you two, you have the support of all of us," Liv spoke up as well.
"Aw, thanks Liv," I said with a smile as I put my hands over my heart.
"You two are the cutest couple," Carmella said.
"Thanks girl," I said to her.
Soon our food came out and we all talked about all the current storylines going on we were all in. There was one question that rang out around the room. Did I want to be added to the Judgement Day. Sure, it would be nice to work with Finn on TV, but I didn't want to step on anyone's toes. Besides, I had my own storyline to work on with Becky and Bianca. I was going to help them out. So all I said was that we'd have to see how things played out.
After we finished with breakfast, a few of us went off to do appearances. Finn and I made our way, with Lexi and the Judgement Day, to the arena. I kicked back and played my music in one of my earbuds in my ear. Lexi and I made small talk about this and that. Finn and I sat side by side, holding hands the whole time.
When we got to the arena, I was pulled into the office with the higher ups. They told me they had thought it over and had no issue with me starting a youtube channel. They told me I could start recording whenever I wanted, of course, don't reveal anything to give away any storylines or any secrets and what not.
I decided to break it to them that Finn and I were together and hoping to go public. They told me to go ahead. Put it in the video they told me. They told me I could do my vlogs, and if I wanted my covers and unboxings and reactions if I wanted to as well. They knew how much K-Pop meant to me and they knew I wanted to connect with other fans. They hoped maybe it would earn me and the WWE some new fans as well. I thanked them profusely, and told them I was going to get to work recording tonight if that wasn't a problem. They told me it wasn't and to go ahead.
I excitedly, after the meeting, went to Finn and told him the good news. He hugged me and told me how excited he was for me. I told him I was going to get my camera and all that out of my bag so I could start recording. I told him I'd meet him out in the arena where I could sit and start my introduction video. He smiled and told me he'd see me out there.
A few of the girls were already getting set up in the locker room when I got in there. I went to one of my bags and pulled out my brand new camera and my whole setup for it. Lexi looked at me and smiled.
"They said yes?" she asked expectantly.
"They said yes," I grinned. "I'm going out into the arena to record some of my first video. An intro and all that. Finn's gonna be in it. I'll get you in on it later, so don't worry my bestie. Becky and Seth already told me they wanted to be a part of my channel if I got the approval, I'll have to go see them later. Anyways I'll see you in a bit."
"Okay girl, love ya sis,' she said to me as she hugged me. "And congratulations again. If you could see how happy you look to everyone. Everyone is so happy for you and for Finn."
"Thanks sis, love you too," I said as I pecked her on the cheek and made my way out into the arena.
Finn was waiting on me out midway up in the stands. He beckoned me over and I went up to him and sat down beside him. I showed him my gear, and told him I had to think about how I was going to start it.
"Don't let me hold you up babe," Finn said to me. "Go for it."
I sat and thought about it for a few minutes before I turned the camera on myself and hit record.
"Hey guys! I said with a smile as I waved at the camera. Guess who's come to youtube? Ah, that's right! I'll be recording vlogs at least once a week if not more, I'll be doing music covers and dances, I'll be doing some reaction videos to my favorite K-Pop artists when they're released, and if you guys like, I'll totally do some unboxings so you can see my reaction when I get my inclusions with my albums. If you're totally here for that hit that subscribe button! So, I'm going to take you guys, today, though a day in the life of me, on the road, during one of our shows.
"I'm actually not alone. I'm here with someone who's very special to me. My lovely boyfriend Finn Balor," at this I turned the camera on Finn who smiled and waved. "Finn and I have been great friends for a while, and unbeknownst to the two of us, ourselves, we both were in love with one another. We, just recently, got together. If you can't tell from our faces, we're very happy!" I said as I pointed to my face which was plastered with a smile. Finn's was too.
"I'm glad all of ya will get to know her like I do, you'll love her even more if you're already a fan," Finn pointed out.
"I hope so! I hope to gain new followers, make some friends. Guys don't be afraid to reach out to me on social media. I'll respond if I can. Of course, I can't respond to everyone, but I try to read every message I get that isn't spam. I've even connected with some of you. I've made friends with some of you, which has been amazing. It's nice having people to share love for my many fandoms with.
"I can't wait to let all of you get to know me better, and I hope, though this, I can get to know some of you a little better too! Don't be afraid to tag me in things. Send me videos. I'm down!" I smiled.
"So, for this first video, I thought I'd include a cover or two. Maybe something new and something a bit older? If I know Finn here, he's definitely gonna want me to sing to you guys my favorite song "Tonight" by Spica. And I, personally, want to sing "Ready for Love" by BlackPink cuz I'm obsessing over it right now and know it already. That sound good to ya'll?"
I qued up the music on my phone and started singing with the backing track to "Tonight". I could feel Finn's excitement radiating off of him like always when I sang the song. And, just like last night, I knew there was a smile plastered on his face. Then, I played and sang along to "Ready for Love".
"Ah, I never get sick of that," Finn said to the camera with a smile.
"One of my biggest supporters and fans," I said to the camera as I pointed to Finn.
"As always, my love," Finn said to me as he leaned in and we shared a sweet kiss in front of the camera.
"So guys," I said as Finn and I broke apart, "I'm definitely going to want some comments from you guys about what you want me to do next or things you wanna see in my vlog. Now, I can't give away any secrets, but you'll get to see some of my backstage life. It's something I'm totally looking forward to doing. This is going to be so fun! I'll show you all around backstage. Introduce you to some of my friends. Get you a peek into the women's locker room while everyone's decent of course. So let's get to it shall we?" I said with a smile as I ended the recording.
"So, I'll show them around in a video soon. How about you and I just chill for a little while?" I said to Finn as I sat the camera down and turned my attention to him.
"Okay," he nodded. "Get over here," he said as he pulled me into his lap. I relaxed into his arms and lay my head on his shoulder.
"This is nice," Finn spoke up after moments of comfortable silence.
"Hmm, it is," I hummed in approval.
"I love you Chey," he said to me as he kissed my temple then my lips.
"I love you too Finn," I said to him as I kissed him back.
We stayed like this for a good thirty minutes before we decided to go see what was going on around the arena.
