Chapter 2

To love a human

Cameron had spent all that night trying to decipher the feelings and emotions currently battling inside her right now with her programming. The feelings currently fighting against her programming she knew were put there from her encounter with the beautiful Sarah Connor last night.

She replayed it again smiling at the results which were she was in love with Sarah Connor.

Later that afternoon Cameron was in the shed running diagnostics on her system when john walked in.

" hey Cameron what are you doing? " He asked her. " Just running a check on my system. " she said bluntly. " Why are you out here?, I thought you were with riley. " Cameron questioned.

" No she is out of town with family I guess she is being secretive. " John answered. " But do you know why my mom is suddenly so happy I've never seen her so happy. " John continued. " I'm not sure. " Cameron said blushing. " Are you blushing?, okay what's going on are you- "

John started but stopped mid-sentence realization kicking in. " Wait are you and my mother—are you-do you have a crush on mom? " John asked. " Is it that obvious? " Cameron asked.

" Yeah it is I mean you're always watching her and you're always wanting to tag along with her whenever she leaves. " John clarified. " I can't help it she is just so beautiful I couldn't help but fall in love with her she ignites this fire in me that I don't ever want extinguished. " Cameron said gesturing to her heart.

" You know it's really weird talking to you about this giving you advice on how to win my mother's heart But I'm going to help you plus you make her really happy happier than I have ever seen her before. " John said.

" Thank you John Connor. " Cameron said smiling. " Ha good one you almost had me. " He said.

" I try. " Cameron smiled smirking and winking at John.

" So what's the plan how are you going to help me win Sarah's heart? " Cameron asked bluntly.

" Calm down Cameron relax we have to patient you know my mom is stubborn and hardheaded. " He said. " Yeah I know she's really good at it she is so beautiful though the way her posture changes the way her eye's focus like she is staring through you. " " she is so strong and independent. " Cameron continued dreamily her expression dazed with a love stuck grin plastered to her face.

" Yeah yeah yeah I know you love her alright now here's the plan. " John said.

Later the next day John kept his mother busy and out of the house while Cameron set up the house for the plan John helped her come up with. she really hoped Sarah liked the surprise but most of all she really hoped Sarah felt the same or at least had feelings no matter how small for Cameron.

Around 3:46 that afternoon John and Sarah returned. " Hey mom can you get my phone from the car for me I need to go take care of something upstairs real quick? " John asked her. " Sure no problem. " Sarah replied heading back to the car to retrieve her son's phone. Making her way back to the house she walked in shutting the door the lights suddenly dimmed and soft music began to play.

She followed the sound of the music to the dining room where she saw the table dressed with a white table cloth and whit and red roses on either side of it complete with candles and platters of food.

She walked up to the table and saw Cameron of to the side approaching. " Cameron what is all of this? " Sarah asked confused.

" I made all of this for you Sarah. " Cameron said.

" What why would you do that? " Sarah wondered.

" Because I– because I'm- because I love you. " She confessed.

Sarah just stared at her in complete shock Cameron just told her she is in love with her she let that soak in. " Sarah please say something. " Cameron pleaded becoming very nervous as Sarah remained silent.

" Cameron I- this is very sweet but-. " Sarah started to say after a few moments of silence and staring at the terminator in shocked silence.

A tear slid it's way down Cameron's cheek. " I'm sorry let's just forget about all of this I'm sorry Sarah I was wrong to think you could love me too I'm just a soulless killing machine. " Cameron said defeated.

It was then that Sarah saw that Cameron wasn't just another terminator she wasn't a total machine she was heartbroken.

Sarah walked over to her and wrapped her arm around Cameron and held her close I'm sorry Cameron I didn't mean to hurt you I was just surprised I needed to process it all. " Sarah said before continuing.

She then pulled back and moved her hand up to cup the girl's cheek and leaned down and pressed her lips to Cameron's surprisingly soft and warm lips and was pleasantly surprised and joyful when Camron kissed her back their lips dancing in perfect synch she found she liked kissing her.

After a few minutes she needed oxygen and the kiss was broken. " I do love you Cameron I guess all I needed was to just kiss you to figure it out but I'm sorry I had to hurt you to realize it. "

" it's okay Sarah just kiss me again. " Cameron said.

" Oh somebody likes kissing me to huh? " Sarah said teasingly.

" Yes yes I do now kiss me. " Cameron commanded.

" ma'am yes ma'am. " Sarah said and captured the terminators lips in a more passionate kiss.
