when they returned to south park jimbo and ned took dovahkiin to the police station where they asked to speak to sargent yates and they said that they have found the missing child at first yates didn't believe them but then when dovahkiin walked into the station he knew they were not lying he then sat and talked with the boy he had to tell him some sad news that about a week ago we got a call that your house was on fire when we showed up the house was engulfed we fought to put it out doavhkiin then asked what about my parents yates said to him when we were going through the wreckage we found them but they where already dead i'm sorry son dovahkiin took a second and then he cried but he thanked them for trying he then asked what will happen to me ? yates said because you don't have any other family we have put you in foster care until you are old enough to take care of yourself just then mr adams came in and said that mayor mcdaniels is her yates said to him that he was busy but mr adams said it had something to do with this kid so yate said to dovahkiin stay here he then and went to meet the mayor who was waiting for him in his office she asked him how is he ? yates said he seems alright except he cried when he learned about his parents mcdaniels then said you would too if it happened to you anyway does he have anywhere to go ? yates said not yet but he will be in foster care shortly but the mayor just said he deserves better then that so here what we will do how about i adopt him for now then when he is old enough he can be on his own after thinking about yates that's a good idea meanwhile in the other room mr adams was talking to dovahkiin just then mayor mcdaniels and sargent yates came back into the room and said that dovahkiin has just been adopted mr adams asked by who the mayor replied by me dovahkiin was stunned but he didn't say anything just then the mayor said come along son let's take you home
