Reviews:

Toa Solaric: Glad you've enjoyed the first chapter.

LegionnaireBlaze: You don't know the half of it.

Darthwolf: *laughs* oh, that gave us such a good laugh when we read this.

Shooting Star Dragon 3000: Oh buddy, we've got plans for this chapter.

Guest 1 chapter 1, Aug 6: *Sigh* look, we've been over this. Goda is a villain who does things himself. Of course, he's going to be more 'fleshed out'; Finis was the kind of villain who is a mastermind type, she was the villain behind the villain.

Here are some reviews answered by our own GreyKing46:

Aug 6 c1Guest: She did. Not all the time and it was meant as mocking, calling Eiji a child basically.

Shooting Star Dragon 3000: Bets for what?

Frostspiderman: The explanation is kinda super obvious. Make it Eiji's fault/a fall out of Ankh's revival. Not so hard.

LegionnaireBlaze: No. The king won't. he hasn't got an OOODriver.

Spidey Viewer: Yeah, since OOO 10th is a shorter story we've got all the details hammered down more utterly than we can with a long 50-odd chapter story

The Greeed are surprisingly easy to write. Once you understand them it's just... A piece of cake.

A message from Grey:

Hey guys. Heads up. If you have read our Zi-O Revised you might remember a certain pairing in that story regarding OOO.

...

Yeah, we are doing it again. Giving you that heads up.

Sorry if you don't like it. I'm a shipper and this has been one ship I have wearly loved since I first watched OOO ten years ago.

Ghost just agrees to let me do it.

Again, sorry if you don't like it.

We find ourselves near the waterfront, on a fateful day.

With the ancient King OOO from 800 years prior revived, the Greeed were also revived and now work for the one they were created by. Having gone to the waterfront; Uva, Gamel, Mezool and Kazari had been attempting to gather an ore needed by 'their king' for his plans.

Date, Goto and a revived Ankh had arrived and battled them, the two humans using the power of Kamen Rider Proto-Birth and Kamen Rider Birth respectfully. But against four fully revived Greeed, and Ankh having a limited amount of medals... they were losing, unable to keep up. Beaten down, broken down, and defeated.

Lying there, waiting for their end... when a bike came rushing by. Rushing through.

Atop a RideVendor was the previously comatose, Eiji Hino. Kamen Rider OOO. Arrived just in time.

"Hino!" Date gasped.

"H-He's awake!" Goto smiled.

Eiji removed the helmet and smiled. "Sorry, I'm late. I slept in a little." Eiji's shaggy short brown hair was slightly wilder than before, and he was wearing a red, yellow and green gradient tye-dyed poncho with grey and blue beads sewn into them over a new deep purple shirt, a pair of grey cargo pants and some new black boots. As he got off his bike, he removed the black riding gloves he had been wearing.

"You dumbass!" Ankh called out as he fell backwards, sitting on the ground with one of his legs laying limp in front of him while he had the other going up as he leaned forwards so he could use his knee as an armrest "Took you long enough!"

"Sorry, sorry." Eiji smiled as he got off the bike, setting his helmet on the bike "Leave this to me."

"Yeah, yeah. You do that Hino... I need to rest." Date mumbled as he and Goto let their transformations end.

"Be careful. They're tough." Goto warned.

"Don't worry. I've got some new tricks." Eiji smirked, attaching the OOO Driver to his waist. Pressing the black and blue device to his waist, the silver belt came rushing out and forming in a flash of light.

"My, my, if it isn't the OOO-boy. Hmm, and it looks like you haven't aged a day." Mezool commented.

"Mezool." Eiji said with a nod.

"It's weirdly good to see you again, OOO! It's finally time for payback! For what you did to me before Maki filled me with Core Medals!" Uva smirked, raising a fist in anger.

"I am sorry that happened to you, Uva. I wish I could have stopped it." Eiji admitted, "Especially looking back."

"Tch, like you wanted to 'stop breaking' my Core Medals with your Purple ones? Remember that?" Kazari responded.

"I'm sorry about that too. I do want to help. Truly." Eiji responded. "Consider this, me trying to make up for it."

"We must do this. We want to be whole. You won't stop us. OOO!" Gamel called.

"I hoped I could." Eiji admitted... As he pulled three medals out of his clothes. Two blue ones and a red one.

"Huh? What are those Medals?" Uva glared. "Wait...they're not-?"

"Yeah, they are."

Chink! Chink! Chink!

Clank!

Eiji had slotted the Medals into the OOO Driver around his waist, tilting it to the left so it was at a slant; and pulled out a circular device with golden yellow rings and a silver screen in his right hand as he scanned the Medals.

Clink!

Clink!

Clink!

"Henshin!" He spoke calmly as three rings appeared around his waist, two blue and one red.

Three concentric circles surrounded Eiji, all with golden-edged coins forming around him. First was a blue Medal depicting a shark.

SAME!

Second was another blue medal, but now depicting a whale.

KUJIRA!

And lastly was a red Medal depicting a wolf-fish.

OOKAMIOU!

The three Medals merged together to form a solid black circle depicting the three animals on Eiji's chest.

SARAMIUO!

Eiji was now in a black bodysuit with black shins and boots with red markings that looked like clawed feet, rounded red kneecaps, red lines going up to his shin-guards, protruding fin-like thigh-guards and lines that went to the red bottom third of the chest ring.

SA! RA!

His forearms had blue and silver bracers that looked like a whale's head that depicted its teeth, blue lines going up along his upper arms to his black shoulders with slightly blue protrusions. And finally, a black helmet with a blue shark-like frame with orange-red visor eyes.

MI! UO~!

His eyes glowed as Eiji raised his left arm in front of him, his elbow bent inwards like he was blocking, while his right arm was behind his back. A fighting stance, a bit of a strange one, as he took a deep breath.

Kamen Rider OOO stood there, powerful. Ready for battle... reborn!

"What is..." Ankh mumbled.

"It worked!" Goto grinned.

"This is impossible." Uva growled.

"New Core Medals? A new combo?" Kazari hissed.

"Hehe. A new combo." Date grinned.

"Same... Kujira... Ookamiuo..." Mezool whispered.

"Watery..." Gamel mumbled.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Kougami's voice suddenly yelled out as a Batta candroid unleashed a hologram of the man, who was now wearing a silver suit as he popped open a party popper "To the brand new OOO!"

zzt!

And the call quickly ended.

"That guy..." Ankh spat "And of course, it still sings."

"New combo or not. You can't beat the originals!" Kazari growled as he rushed forwards to strike, only for Eiji to hit him back in his chest, causing a ripple of blue and red energy.

"What the hell..." Uva blinked.

"Not Gorilla strength, but it is good enough." Eiji commented, shaking his wrists.

"Same, Kujira, Ookamiuo. SaRaMiuo. The Sea King Combo." Goto said with pride.

"'The Sea King' Combo?" Ankh asked.

"They were going to be called the 'Water Combo 2', but Mr Kougami changed them for a bit more 'oomph'." Date explained.

"Works for me." Eiji commented as he kept ready in his fighting stance, keeping a close eye on his opponents.

"There's only room for one 'Water Combo' here!" Mezool glared as she lashed out at Eiji.

Eiji responded by rising his arm, blocking the strike with his gauntlet "Sorry about that, I didn't make these medals." He chuckled as he held back her blow.

"Hold him down, Mezool!" Uva called out, leaping up to slash down at the water-combo covered Eiji.

CLASH!

Eiji had drawn the Medajaribur, the special sword created by Kougami to assist OOO, and blocked Uva's claws.

"One free hand, Uva." Eiji responded, forcing both Uva and Mezool away as he leapt back, slashing at the pair to give himself some leg room.

He gave a jump, throwing a kick at Uva's head.

"Nice try!" The insectoid Greeed yelled as he raised his arm to catch the kick. He gripped Eiji's shin tightly... As the red section of Eiji's OOO-Lung flashed.

...

"GAHH!" he howled in pain, releasing his hold.

Eiji's shin guards had opened up and gave a loud buzzsaw-like noise as they showed off teeth along his leg.

"Teeth?! On your legs?" Gamel asked in shock.

"Got quite a bite to them." Eiji chuckled.

"Interesting." Kazari commented.

"Gamel, don't just stand there, slam him!" Uva grunted.

"That'd be a good test to see how strong these are." Eiji commented as he looked at Gamel "Come on buddy, let's wrestle!" He called... And span around, using his sword to block Kazari's surprise attack.

CLANG!

"Don't think I'll just stand around and do nothing!" Kazari commented.

"Nah, although going for the back is kinda predictable for you." Eiji commented, using his new form's strength to hold him back.

"'Predictable'?" He snapped, his claws getting closer to Eiji's head.

And Eiji slammed his leg up, blades cutting into his side.

"Hurck! GAH!" The cat Greeed roared out in pain, backing up so Gamel was the only one who was left standing.

"Why you!" Gamel frowned and stomped forwards as he rushed at Eiji, who had tilted his Belt.

"Let's try this out, big guy!" Eiji called out as he ran his scanner across the belt once more while stabbing his blade into the ground.

SCANNING CHARGE!

Blue and red energy spiralled around him as Eiji widened his stance, the Rider combining the two halves of his gauntlets.

Gamel came rushing forwards, bringing his arms down for a mighty slam, while at the same time Eiji slammed his combined fists forwards for a jab.

BOOM

A shockwave filled the air... As an energy projection of a whale was slammed against Gamel's body, holding him back, as Eiji jumped into the air at him.

"Aaaaah~! SEEYAH!" he cried out, bringing his left leg up in a sweeping kick as he passed Gamel. The energy surrounding his leg and forming a large blade that slashed through the bulky Greeed's body.

"GAH!" Gamel yelled as he was sent crashing down to the ground, sparks rushing over his body.

"Incredible." Ankh commented.

"Gamel!" Mezool gasped out in worry.

"I'm... Okay Mezool..." The big lug mumbled.

"That's good. Ow, that smarts." Eiji commented, rolling his shoulder.

"It's not done yet!" Uva hissed, blasting lighting at OOO.

"Gaaaah!" Eiji yelled out as sparks ran over his body.

"Now!" Kazari roared, rushing forth and slashing at Eiji.

"GAH! Aaah!" Eiji yelled, the slashes knocking him back... Before two whips wrapped around his neck.

"That is for my Gamel!" Mezool snapped, using her eel powers to produce water whips from her hands.

"Ankh! Get to the ride Vendor! There should be a Medal Holder!" Goto called out.

"A medal holder?! There's more?!" Ankh snapped but listened. Rushing over to the bike, he pulled out a black and blue book and flicked it open. On the left side of the page were four rows of medals... And there was no colour cohesion among them at all.

"Gck!? What the hell is wrong with these medals?!" Ankh snapped.

"Look for the connections!" Date responded.

"'Connections'?" He asked before looking at the medals and grabbed three. "EIJI!" As he tossed them to the captured Eiji.

Shink!

Flying through the air was a trio of Medals, each a different colour. One orange, one pink and one purple.

Eiji reached out and grabbed them, replacing the Sea King Medals in his belt.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

EBI!

The orange Medal glowed, showing the picture of a shrimp.

KANI!

The pink Medal followed next, showing a picture of a crab.

SASORI!

The purple Medal finished as it showed a scorpion.

Mezool's water whips were cut off from Eiji and released him.

BIKASO!

Eiji's armour was transformed, shifting colours and design; though the main black undersuit and black helmet remained, the colours of his form now matched the Medals in his belt.

BI!

Eiji's helmet frame was now an orange shrimp frame, with glowing light blue visor eyes. The legs of the shrimp were framed like ears on the side of the helmet with orange antennae from the middle of his forehead.

KA!

Eiji's shoulders had crab-leg-styled shoulder guards on rounded black shoulder pads, pink lines going down his arms to his hands which revealed large pink crab pincers.

SO~!

Finally were Eiji's legs. Purple lines that went from the OOOLung to his legs, which were protected by purple scorpion-styled kneecaps, where their stinger tails went straight down to his feet, with the points of the stingers at the end of his toes and pointed outwards.

"Ankh... Thanks!" Eiji called out, giving a thumbs up as he grinned before rubbing his neck "Damn. That hurt." He commented, looking at Mezool.

"We're trying to kill you, don't be surprised." Mezool responded. "Still, I have to say, seeing you bound up looked fun."

"That's... ER... Good to know?" Eiji blinked in shock at her statement before acting quickly, jumping and flipping over a charging Gamel "Nice try big guy, but this form has some good vision." He chuckled, spinning and using his clawed hand to clamp down on Uva's wrist.

CLAMP!

"ARGH! Let go! Let go!" Uva grunted as his wrist felt like it was going to be snipped off by Eiji's claws.

"Okay." Eiji commented, releasing his grip and causing Uva to stumble back on his own feet.

He gripped his wrist and rubbed it. "How strong is that grip?" He glared.

"Just got to know where the joints were." Eiji responded before yelling, Kazari's super-fast strikes slashing at his form.

"Couldn't see that, did you?" He laughed as he slashed at Eiji. "What's wrong OOO? Can't keep up!"

"Hehe." Eiji laughed as he stumbled... And span, slamming his foot against Kazari's shoulder.

Kazari screamed as he felt the point of the foot stab into him, leaving a deep purple scar on his body. He stumbled back and held the scar for a moment... and then gasped as it didn't heal right back up. "What is this? What did you do?" He snapped, grabbing at his wound.

"This new form's ability." Eiji responded.

"Get over here!" Gamel roared as he rushed at Eiji.

Eiji caught this and dodged out of the way and stabbed his crab claws into Gamel's thick hide armour.

"Ah-ha! That stings!" Gamel cried out as he rushed through and collided with Uva.

"Watch it." Uva snapped.

"Sorry, Uva." Gamel apologised as he got up and away from Uva.

"I'm going to get you back for that, OOO!" Uva glared at Eiji.

"You can try." Eiji smiled, snapping his claws.

Mezool came in with a surprise kick, her foot rushing towards Eiji's face.

"Whoop!" Eiji had to quickly duck, he only had a split second to get out of the way or his head would be kicked in.

He watched her foot, rush over his face, and as he tried to stand up... Kazari slammed his fist into Eiji's face.

...

And Kazari was sent rolling back, grunting.

"ARGH!" The Cat Greeed grunted as he was flung back. "W-what the hell?"

"Sorry, got a bit of a bounce back." Eiji said, rubbing his jaw.

"Mezool. Are you okay?" Gamel asked.

"I'm fine, Gamel." She responded, holding her feet. "Good thing he dodged, otherwise that may have hurt."

"Yeah, sorry about that." Eiji chuckled "Not really in the mood to hurt you all."

"Hurt us?! Don't make me laugh!" Uva snapped as he summoned his power, throwing forth a massive energy blast.

Eiji crossed his arms to block the oncoming electrical blast and was flung back, rolling onto the ground, and he was tossed some more Medals from Ankh.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

Eiji's belt now held three more new Medals as his OOO Scanner glided over his belt.

SHIKA!

The first was an orange Medal with a yellow horned-animal depiction.

GAZELLE!

The second was a red Medal with a pale red horned animal depiction

USHI!

Finally, was a white Medal with a black horned-animal depiction.

SHIGA-ZE-SHI!

Again, Eiji's armour transformed to match the designs of the horned animals; a light-brown deer horned helmet with a green forehead gem and light yellow eyes.

SHI-GAZESHI!

A long darker brown horned rounded shoulder guards with brown lines going down his arms to protruding gazelle horns on his brown bracers.

SHI-GA-ZESHI~!

And lastly...but the strangest. Was Eiji's legs, shin guards and boots were black and white cow spots, with two cow heads for kneecap guards with gold noserings.

The Greeed all in unison looked dumbfounded at Eiji's latest transformation.

Uva and Ankh looked like their faces were going to fall off from the ridiculousness.

Gamel was looking at it like it was a big mix-and-match play toy.

Kazari, being a predator, saw Eiji now more like prey.

And Mezool...didn't know what to think.

"Kougami, what the hell is this form?" Ankh hissed.

"I do like the pattern." Mezool commented, "Would look good on a bag for my human disguise."

"Hehe. Looks silly." Gamel grinned.

"OOO... Is this a joke?" Uva snarled.

Eiji looked down at his Rider self and shrugged. "Would you be laughing if it was?" He quipped.

"You know what they are? Prey. You've signed your damn death!" Kazari responded, grabbing Gamel and brought them to their feet. "Let's go, Gamel! I'm going to rip them apart!"

"Okay!" He nodded, bashing his fists together and rushed at Eiji. 'Since his legs are a cow's that means he's slow right?'

STOMP!

The ground underneath Eiji's feet caused the ground to split, making Gamel lose his footing and crash to the ground.

Gamel yelled as he fell... And growled, slamming his fists causing shockwaves of gravitational energy to rush out at Eiji.

"Wh-whoa!" Eiji called out as he was forcefully launched upwards into the air. "Damn it!"

SHINK!

"Keep him there, Gamel. I'm going to claw OOO's Medals out of him!" Kazari ordered.

"Yeah!" Gamel cheered.

"Not good." Goto whispered.

"Eiji! Don't just fly there!" Ankh called out, trying to help...in his own way.

"This form is about momentum, I'm afraid!" Eiji grunted, doing his best to stay balanced "Not much I can do!"

"Good to know!" Kazari called as he rushed by and slashed at Eiji.

"GAH!" He yelled in pain, being sent flying.

"Haha!" Gamel laughed as he reached out and caught Eiji by the rings on the Rider's knees... And began to spin him. "This is fun! He's like a kite!"

SNAP!

"Uh-oh." Gamel blinked as the golden nose-rings snapped off in his hands. "Hey, I broke his kneecaps!"

crash!

...

"BWAHAHAHAHA!" Kazari laughed. "OOO! Y-You should see yourself!"

Eiji grunted as he slowly got up from the ground...and steam 'huffed' out of his kneecaps and helmet.

"You look absolutely pa-!" Kazari laughed before-

CRASH!

"Urgh..." The Greeed groaned as he was rammed right into the stone bank as rocks toppled onto him.

"Err..." Gamel slowly turned.

"Ever hear of the term 'raging bull'?" Eiji asked. "Those rings...Were for more than decoration. They were... Holding me back!" He roared as power surged through him and he let out a punch, striking Uva with the horn in his forearm.

Time seemed to slow down, as Uva let out a slow groaning grunt as Eiji's fist connected to his stomach.

WHOOSH!

CRASH!

Bullet time had now stopped as Gamel looked at the rings in his hand before dropping them and readying himself for a-

PUNCH!

Gamel was thrown off the ground a bit. Amazed as this form's strength suddenly matched his own, but a bit faster.

"Grrn!" Gamel grunted with a smile, as his feet dug into the ground.

"Hnnn!" Eiji smirked under his helmet as he was pushed forwards.

"HA!" Both roared, slamming their heads together. Clashing horns, trading headbutts.

Mezool was looking in shock and awe at this. This was probably the first time she saw Gamel having fun with someone near his own strength. These new medals weren't as 'strong' as their own. But the way Eiji was using them, was surprising.

...

She smiled to herself, removing her cape. This was a nice surprise, but they WERE supposed to be fighting. "Hey! OOO-Boy!" She called out.

"Huh?" Eiji and Gamel blinked as they pulled back from their grapple, looking at Mezool.

"Toro, Toro." She taunted playfully, waving her blue cape.

"Hehe. Fine then." Eiji smirked as he pulled back from Gamel and scanned his medals.

SCANNING CHARGE!

Brown and white energy surrounded Eiji as he held his arms by his side, the horns all of his armour growing and clearly becoming more powerful.

"Toro, Toro." She repeated.

Eiji dug his cow legs into the ground and flicked a foot back, readying himself... Before he sprinted forth, towards Mezool. Much faster than either expected.

'Wow!' she thought, barley pulling her cape out of the way "Ole!" She called out, cocking her hip as she smirked.

...

As Eiji charged RIGHT at Kazari as he pulled himself from the rubble.

"Oh shi-" Kazari gasped, his eyes widening.

"SEEYAH!" Eiji roared as he rushed right into the cat Greeed.

"GUWAAAAH!" Kazari screamed as his Medals shot out of him, causing an explosion.

"Whoa." Goto and Date looked in shock at the unrestrained power of ShiGazeShi.

Ankh looked concerned though. These new combos seemed weaker, having only their own solid combos right now. Still, it *was* nice to see Kazari crawl on the ground to get his Core Medals.

"Ankh! Another Combo!" Eiji called out.

"Enough of this! You can't handle three on one!" Uva proclaimed, shooting lightning at him while water whipped around Mezool.

"This one!" Ankh threw a new set of Medals at Eiji, hoping that these would handle them.

Eiji's outstretched hand caught them mid-air as he attempted to dodge the Greeed coming to attack him.

SLAM!

"GAH!" Eiji screamed as he was caught and slammed away from them, but he replaced the Medals in his belt and scanned them.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

The golden-edged coins floated around him and formed around his body as he got back up.

MUKADE!

The first light was a purple ring that the Medal had a depiction of a centipede.

HACHI!

The second light ring was yellow, with the Medal having the depiction of a bee.

ARI!

The last was a black ring, with the Medal having a grey depiction of an ant.

MUKACHIRI!

Eiji's armour once again changed, his cow print legs were replaced with solid black, but now with grey shin-protectors and boots with black ants going up to his shins to his kneecaps.

CHIRICHIRI!

His arms had yellow lines that went from his chest to his shoulders which depicted bee wings in the colours of a bee's stripes, down to his bracers. His left arm had a large yellow honeycomb shield and yellow gloves, while his right arm had a large bee figure with a silver stinger and wings.

MUKACHIRI!

Finally was Eiji's helmet, having a purple centipede crawling up the middle with the dozens of legs it possessed as a face frame and yellow eyes.

CHIRICHIRI!

"Ripping me off again, OOO?!" Uva snapped as he lunged at him with lightning.

Eiji's shoulder guards opened and produced two large bee wings, helping him fly up and dodge out of the way from it.

"What the-?" Uva snapped as he looked up at Eiji who was flying in the air now.

'That was too close!' Eiji thought to himself.

"You're going to pay for that ramming attack, OOO!" Kazari glared.

"Yeah, you can think that!" Eiji responded as he continued to fly in the air, zipping away from the fight and landing on the ground as he aimed for them.

"Get back here!" Gamel stomped as he rushed at Eiji to stomp him down.

"There's only room for one insect combo, OOO!" Uva snarled.

"There's room for multiple, Uva!" Eiji responded, raising his shield and blocking the oncoming lightning. "Gah!" He stumbled back, grunting as his shield did its best to defend him from the attack as he flew through the air. "Ha!" He called out as his eyes flashed, the centipede on his head growing and extended a few dozen times as it lashed out at Mezool's incoming water whips.

"Don't get whiplash, Eiji-boy!" Mezool proclaimed as she saw the lashes coming her way.

"Huh, you called me by my name." He chuckled, using his stinged to stab at Uva. "I'm surprised you are all risking working with the king. That's kinda not your normal style."

"The King has our Tenth Medals." Mezool explained. "If we want to be complete, we need to work for him!"

Eiji's eyes widened in shock, realising what this meant. The King OOO was doing everything to keep them under his thumb.

Literally holding them under blackmail! God damn it!

"I won't let him keep you there!" Eiji responded, the hum of his bee wings not quite blocking his voice out.

"Uva, snag him!" Kazari ordered.

"I know, I know!" Uva growled and produced lightning once again, shooting at Eiji to clip his flight path and send him careening into the cliffside.

"Got him!" Uva cheered as he looked at the crash site.

"Gamel, crush him into the ground!" Kazari ordered as he rushed forwards and aimed for the ground where Eiji crashed.

...

And they found nothing.

"Few. That was close." Eiji commented as he was... Standing on the wall?

"What the-? How're you doing that?" Mezool asked in shock, seeing him defy gravity by standing at such a deep angle.

"Ant?" He shrugged.

"Ants do that?" Gamel asked in confusion.

"Have you never seen a nature show?" Eiji quipped as he sat down on the wall, his arms crossed over his lap as he looked down at them.

"Grr! You're mine!" Kazari dug his clawed feet into the ground, running as fast as he could up to Eiji.

"Wow!" OOO yelled, using the shield to block the rapid blows.

"Damn it, he's too far!" Ankh glared angrily, being outmatched and they had to be careful as he looked at the final three medals. 'What the hell are these last three?'

"Ankh, what's wrong?" Goto asked.

"Kougami has the strangest type of Medal Combos." Ankh grumbled.

Eiji was fighting on the side of the building, grunting as he was dealing with the four all at once. Moving his blade from the left to block Kazari's slashes using his own stinger before pushing it forwards to counter Uva's own blows. Meanwhile, he was holding his right arm steady, doing his best to withstand Gamel's powerful blows and using both the centipede part of his head as well as his keeps to counter Mezool's strikes.

"Eiji! Use these!" Ankh called, throwing the final combo's medals.

"Ankh! Perfect timing!" Eiji called as he jumped, pushing past the four as his current form's wings buzzed to life. He shot through the air, catching the medals as he flipped and landed.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

"Let's try these three out!" He called as he drew the OOOScanner, running it across his belt.

The scanner created three rings of light, first was a white ring, followed by a grey ring and lastly a dark blue ring.

SEIUCHI!

SHIROKUMA!

PENGUIN!

Eiji's armour transformed into a new form, first was his legs, dark blue lines going on the outside of his thighs, dark blue penguin-headed kneecaps, white-bodied shin-guards with penguin flipper feet.

SEI!

Eiji's arms turned white with black layered stripes with claws and white fur-styled shoulders

SHIROGIN!

Lastly was the helmet that had a grey face frame with two walrus tusks at the side of his head, red eyes and a black mouthguard.

SEI! SHIROGIN~!

"SeiShiroGin?" Uva asked in confusion.

"That has to be the most lopsided Combo I've seen yet." Uva deadpanned. "What're you going to do waddle at us?"

"This has been going on long enough!" Mezool commented, rushing past the others and tackling OOO.

"M-Mezool!" Eiji called out, his flipper feet not being able to get any grip.

SPLASH!

The two were now in the water, Date, Goto and Ankh could only watch and attempt to defend themselves. With three other Greeed here at full power, even if they were wounded, they couldn't do much to them.

In the water, Mezool was laughing as she had the advantage. "Got you now, Eiji-Boy."

"Still... Shocked you're using my name and not calling me OOO." Eiji admitted, wrestling in her grip.

"Can't blame a woman for a little light flirting." She responded. "After all, out of your fifteen new medals, seven of them are water-based. A shark, a whale, wolf-fish, shrimp, crab, walrus and penguin. Eight of you count the polar bear with it hunting seals. A woman can only take -so- many hints, OOO-boy?" She teased, the two almost dancing in the water as they swam in small circles. Combat going on, Mezool refusing to let Eiji out of her grip while he was trying to break free. "Hmm~, but you're in MY element now. Not in that pesky... What was it again?!'Sea King Combo'? Hehe. Again, subtly Eiji-Boy. Might want to learn it, girls DO enjoy a bit of a chase."

"I. Well, aha." Eiji chuckled nervously as he was being flirted with. It wasn't something he was used to.

"Hmm~, unfortunately, you are in our way." Mezool hummed "So just be a good boy and stay down here!" She smirked, releasing him to perform a powerful double kick to his chest. Sending Eiji sinking deeper into the water.

"Oof! Glub, glub!" Eiji grunted as air bubbles left his helmet as he sunk deeper into the darkness.

...

And he quickly took hold of himself, twisting himself as he prepared to swim higher.

"Hehe. Tata, Eiji-Boy." Mezool waved as she began to swim away... Only to freeze in shock, her eyes widening "W-What are you doin-AH!"

*Up on the surface*

"Alright guys. Let's get moving." Kazari commented while stretching, grabbing the ore.

"Hnn! Jeez, this is-Gamel, give us a hand!"

"But...but Mezool." Gamel frowned.

"She's fine, she's in her element." Uva responded.

"Yeah. Give her five minutes and she'll be out." Kazari nodded.

"Eiji..." Ankh frowned as they waited and worried for him. He just got out of the hospital and he was fighting against the Greeed with new combinations of medals.

...

Suddenly the waters began to be covered by ice.

"Wh-what the?" Kazari asked as he saw the ice.

Tap, tap.

"I-It's frozen solid!" Uva commented, tapping his claws on the lake.

"What the hell?" Ankh asked in shock.

"Heh. Eiji, you don't cease to amaze." Date responded.

SMASH!

"Gaaah!" Mezool screamed as she flew through the air and crashed through the ice...which was about three inches thick!

She screamed as she flew... Landing perfectly into Gamel's arms.

"Mezool! Wh-what happened?" Gamel asked in shock and concern.

"E-Eiji. He. F-f-f-froze. M-m-me." She stammered, the deep chill quaking her form.

"Nice catch, Gamel." Eiji commented, emerging from the water.

"What the hell did you do?" Uva snapped.

SPLASH!

Eiji shot upwards and landed firmly on the ice without breaking it. It was like watching a bottle rocket shoot upwards. "This form is a lesser water form. But it's mainly ice based." Eiji explained, flexing his claws "Sorry Mezool, I was hoping Gamel would catch you. Threw you as high as I could to give him a bigger chance."

"Why do you keep apologizing for shit?!" Uva snapped as he charged forwards and jumped, coming down with his blades aimed at Eiji "You're the one who KILLED us all those years ago! You are our ENEMY!" He snapped, as Eiji jumped back to dodge Uva's strike.

"Because I don't want to be your enemy! Do you remember my promise?" Eiji asked as he dodged out of the way as ice continued to form from his surroundings.

"What 'promise'?" Uva glared, to which Eiji opened his arms out.

"To help, this many as possible." Eiji answered.

Uva scoffed at that. "What? Only a handful of people?" He struggled on the ice. "You could only get two at most like that!"

"Not from where I'm standing," Eiji answered, because from his gesture and where he could see; he was opening his arms to Mezool, Gamel, Uva Kazari, Goto, Date and Ankh.

"Eiji..." Ankh shook his head, knowing what that idiot was talking about.

"He really hasn't changed." Date grinned "Same old Hino."

"No... He has." Ankh scoffed with a smirk "Because that promise... It's not JUST words anymore. It is no longer grief, sapping him of desire. After what we went through? It's evolved. A statement. To help anyone he can reach. And he will always rise to the occasion to help them. With all the power his desire can manage."

"I've thought about you all for the last ten years. Not just Ankh." Eiji explained. "Thought back on that year... Especially because of other factors. Especially after nearly becoming one of you at the end."

"Yeah, I remember. You cracking my medals." Kazari answered.

"As well as mine." Mezool commented.

"Yes. I know how you all feel. All the time." Eiji sighed "I am sorry for what I did. And what you are going through. But following that mad man? You are all better than that. I promise. I will save you!"

...

"Who's asking you to save us?!" Uva snapped, charging at Eiji once more. And not stopping. Throwing blow after blow after blow. "We don't need you! We don't want you!" Uva roared angrily. "We are who we are! We don't need you getting in our way or your damn hero complex! I just want to be complete! To be whole! So, if you want to help, stay OUT OF MY WAY! I DO NOT NEED YOUR HELP!"

"Ha!" Eiji called as he jumped, flipping over Uva and landing on the shore again... Only for Gamel to attack.

"Yeah! What Uva said!" The titan called "I want to have fun! And make Mezool happy! Don't need you for that!"

SMASH!

"Eiji!" Ankh called out as he saw him getting overwhelmed by their numbers.

Eiji grunted as he was thrown back, slashing his claws across Gamel's chest as distance was made.

"Ow! That hurt!" Gamel grunted, as his thick armour was slashed into.

... and suddenly ice began to form over said armour.

"Gah! Mezool! It's cold! Icy cold!" Gamel cried as the ice crept over his body.

"Long or short-ranged. I've got an advantage." Eiji remarked as he saw Kazari and Mezool rushing at him, the tusks on his helmet suddenly detaching and flying through the air. Shooting right at the two.

"GAH-AH!" The two screamed as they were both struck by the tusks as ice seemed to form in their wounds.

Eiji pulled the OOO Scanner off his hip holster, scanning his medals once again.

SCANNING CHARGE!

Eiji stood his ground as his OOOLung lit up as he created ice around them all.

"No! Our legs!" They gasped, realising that they were frozen in place.

"L-Let us go!" Gamel grunted, struggling to break through.

"Damn you, OOO!" Kazari shivered as his means of escape were chilled.

Eiji leapt into the air, catching all three in his view and rocketed down. "SEEYAAAA!"

The four Greeed looked up as Eiji shattered through the ice and collided his feet into their chests, causing a frozen explosion that sent all of them careening into different directions.

Eiji stumbled for a moment, panting as he looked out at the group.

Goto and Date rushed over to Eiji, hoping to help him up and get him out of there. But the ice had made things a little treacherous.

Ankh looked out to the remaining Greeed, there had to be some Medals he could grab.

'Damn, Eiji. That was incredible. For coming out of a coma.' Ankh thought, sliding down to the field and trying to find those Medals.

Sure enough, the Greeed had all escaped. With all their medals.

'Damn it.' Ankh thought as he turned around, seeing Eiji being supported by Goto and Date.

There was a moment of silence as the two looked at one another... And smiled,

"Ankh... Welcome home." Eiji nodded with a smile.

"Good to be back... You damn fool." Ankh responded "Been a while."

"Got you back as soon as I could. Sorry it took so long." Eiji assured.

"Ten years. Yes." Ankh nodded. "You owe me."

"I owe you?" Eiji asked.

"Ten years worth of ice creams." Ankh answered, putting all the other Combo medals away in the holder.

...

"Hahaha! Fine, fine!" Eiji laughed, his eyes sparkling. Alight with joy and life. "Don't worry Ankh, don't worry."

"Good." Ankh nodded with a smirk. "Because I think... We have work to do." He commented, closing the Medal holder.

"Right." Eiji nodded.

*Time skip*

The group was back at the Kougami foundation, Eiji gulping down a large two-litre bottle of water. Or rather, what was left of it as he kept chugging.

"Something tells me he hasn't lost his appetite," Erika commented.

"Are you sure he doesn't need to breathe at the end of this?" Goto joked.

"We used five combos back-to-back. And my guess, he hasn't used the powers of OOO much in the past few years." Ankh commented "His desire to protect people with all the strength he has, allows him to be stronger and handle it better, but it still takes it out of him. nom." And he finished that statement from taking a bite out of a red ice stick.

"Ahhh! Whoo!" Eiji sighed as he exhaled, dropping the empty bottle to the floor. "That hit the spot."

"If the combos where so much, why didn't you mix and match them?" Hina asked in worry.

"Because I had no damn idea what they did." Ankh snapped a bit... Huffing.

"It wouldn't have worked." Eiji commented "While I was transformed I could... Feel it. It was like PuToTyra, or BuraKaWani. Or even Super TaToBa. The medals are 'locked' together and can't be mixed and matched."

"The hell is Super TaToBa?" Ankh asked and was ignored.

"What do you mean Eiji? Why not?" Goto asked curiously.

SLAM!

"That is a question I am much more qualified to answer, Goto!" Kougami cheered, now wearing an orange suit.

"God damn it." Ankh hissed at the man's flamboyant outfit and over-excited personality.

"The medals of the five Greeed; Anhk, Kazari, Uva, Mezool and Gamel. They were all crafted together, at the same time. Made at the same time. So, their powers are intertwined." Kougami explained, interlacing his fingers, "Like a family. Bound together by blood. Raised, grown, together. But the Purple medals, as well as the orange Core medals, were all crafted as their individual set. Their medals were created, and only theirs. A void of loneliness. Unable to connect to others."

As if to emphasize his point, he brought his hands apart. Both hands curved like a heart, making it look like a 'heart break'.

"And your medals... Sir?" Hina asked.

"For safety, as well as other limitations, we made each set of medals individually. Much like the aforementioned medals." Kougami nodded.

"And the weird ass colours?" Ankh asked.

"I just thought they looked cool." Kougami shrugged.

"...Baka." Ankh rolled his eyes.

"That explains a lot for why they work so well together." Date responded.

"Yes, but it also means that they know about the new Medals now." Goto added. "We'll have to be careful and clever."

"Ankh, do you have anything to add?" Eiji asked.

"Nom. Well. If I know Goda, King OOO, he'll want to get his power back as quickly as possible." He answered.

"That's his name? 'Goda'?" Kougami asked.

"That's what I said." Ankh responded.

"So, the nameless King has a name again." Kougami whispered to himself.

"Eiji, take it easy. You're going to get hiccups if you eat that quick." Hina commented.

"Sorry." Eiji apologised as he was mid-way eating a sandwich that Hina had made. "It's just been a long while since I've eaten."

"You have been in a coma, but don't eat all our rations." Erika added.

"I'm just eating what Hina makes. Nothing more." Eiji responded.

Erika sighed and rubbed her eyes at that comment. "How are we going to stop them now? They're wise to the new combos and probably working on a new OOO Driver."

"We have to stop them before it is completed." Kougami stated calmly.

"Does he even know how to make an OOO Driver? Didn't you say that 'only his alchemists knew the secret of how to craft it'?" Goto asked.

"Goda knows. He was the one that commissioned it. He oversaw its creation. And he's not a being to forget what he wants." Ankh answered. "But not only does it cost lives. But while he knows the process of how to make it, he himself does not know HOW to do said process. To put it simply, he knows the instructions but he's not an engineer."

"The scientists." Eiji soon realised. "He'll be going after them next."

"If he hasn't already captured them." Date responded.

"I think that might actually be the case." Kougami frowned.

*Meanwhile, elsewhere, with the ancient king*

The old man, Goda, was silent as he looked out at the darkness. He was close to getting what he desired. Another OOO Driver, using this modern technology that he loathed. He had scientists that would work on it, or they would be punished.

All he needed was for the Greeed to return and deliver the ore.

...

And maybe ONE other thing.

SLAM!

"We're back!" Uva called out.

"Finally." He muttered. "Do you have the ore?"

"A lot of it!" Gamel answered, holding it up. "There's gonna be a lot more than ten OOO Drivers here."

"Of course, there isn't." Goda answered. "You don't know how 'refining' works. Most of that ore is cluttered together by useless rock."

"You mean that we went through all that for a handful of metal?" Kazari snapped.

"You say that like it's not what you already do." King OOO remarked. "Now set it down."

"OOO is back." Uva commented.

King OOO flinched as he heard that. "You mean the False OOO?" He clenched his fists tightly. "He's awake?"

"And he has new medals." Kazari added.

"'New Medals'?" He asked with contained fury. "My descendant has created new medals?"

"Seems like it. Weird ones." Mezool shrugged.

"Do they have any correlation? Is it a 'badger' with a 'zebra' and a 'hyena'? Just because they have 'stripes'?" King OOO asked incredulously.

"...Close. But no." Mezool responded.

...

"Be gone from my sight! I must think!" Goda ordered.

The Greeed looked at each other and nodded, leaving Goda on his own. And happy just to get away from him before he blew up.

As they hurried away their forms shimmered with medals, all of them flickering back into their human states.

Mezool was wearing a new outfit she had seen on their way back in a store. Her long black hair flowing gently, a blue shirt under a black corset and a flowing black shawl, a black knee-length tight skirt with a ruffled aspect to it, fishnet stockings and black high-heeled shoes. The look of a professional but fashionable businesswoman.

"That 'man' is deranged." She commented.

"You're not wrong, Mezool." Uva commented heavily.

"What?" Uva and Gamel asked.

"Goda's not going to let us go. I'm a conman and I can smell a trick coming from a mile away. As soon as he gets his Driver, fft, we're gone. Our Medals are gonna be his." Kazari answered, making a gesture with his fingers.

"But we're so close; right?" Gamel responded. "We can be whole."

"But the point is if we do this, he is gonna get what he wants!" Kazari answered.

"But. We can be whole again, Mezool." Gamel frowned.

"Don't listen to these two, Gamel. We know what's at stake." Uva answered.

"Oh, sure you do." Kazari rolled his eyes.

"We are looking out for us, you're thinking of a plan that might not even work!" Uva pointed.

"Gamel? What do you think?" Mezool asked.

"Um. Well. I think...I think we can get our Medals back." Gamel answered.

The Greeed were now divided upon this situation; between Gamel and Uva wanting their Tenth Medals back, to Kazari and Mezool distrusting Goda for their freedom. It was all a hard pill to swallow for them all.

'Damn it all.' The four thought in unison, though they didn't know the others were thinking it.

"Just one question though. You think that the kid will win?" Uva suggested.

"I don't know." Kazari responded. "But I doubt it." He spoke, gesturing that they were within 'earshot' of Goda, hoping that they were smart enough to get away further.

Suddenly the door burst open, as the King walked in once again.

"All of you. I have a new quest for you." Goda ordered "However. I also require... For you to create Yummy from my very being!"

*Elsewhere*

Eiji was sitting in his bed, looking at the Medals they had on hand. Ankh however was glaring at Kougami.

"Something you want to say, Ankh?" Kougami asked.

"Yeah, these combos. What the hell were you thinking?" Ankh asked.

"I don't know what you mean." Kougami responded.

"The animal combinations you chose." Ankh explained.

"What is wrong with them?" Kougami asked.

"Just...why? The Centipede, Bee and Ant I kind of get; but a cow with a deer and gazelle? Two are springy fast and the other is livestock." Ankh responded. "And the 'Shrimp', 'Crab' and 'Scorpions'? 'Teeny-tiny claws'?" Ankh asked sarcastically.

"Arthropods, dear Ankh. Animals with hard external shells." Kougami answered.

"Next thing you'll be telling me you've made some 'promiscuous animals' Medals in the meantime." Ankh rolled his eyes.

...

"Ehem." Kougami coughed.

...

"You didn't." Eiji blinked as he sat up.

"I have... Plans written down for other combos yet to be put into production." Kougami said, avoiding the subject.

"Oh my god, it's like that fake 'Love' Combo Eiji made." Ankh facepalmed as he heard that, groaning his red hand went down his face.

"Why did you have to bring THAT up?!" Eiji groaned.

"Here you go." Ms Satonaka said as she walked in, holding out a stack of papers with sketches and computer graphics all over them showing a variety of Core Medal and OOO's designs.

The one on the first page was labelled the 'Dark Combo' made from a Bat, an owl and a Badger.

"...Okay. Sounds feasible. Better hearing, senses and flight." Ankh looked at the designs.

"Tell me, have you ever played a game where sleep was a pain to fight with? Unless it was on your enemy?" Kougami asked, giving that level of logic. "One good punch with a sleep status and your enemy is knocked unconscious."

"If you're awake long enough to use them." Ankh rebuked.

"Dog. Rabbit. Horse-okay, yeah! Don't need to read anymore!" Eiji called out, slamming the notes closed and pushing them away.

"Particularly proud of that one." Kougami smirked.

"Eiji, let me see." Ankh ordered, trying to see the pages.

"Nope! No, no you don't!" He answered. "What were you THINKING, sir!"

"I wished to help with your potential future, Eiji my boy." Kougami coughed and chuckled.

"I... Let's change the subject." Eiji mumbled, putting his head in his hands "Like why almost half my current medals are water-based?"

"Oh, are they? I genuinely did not notice." Kougami blinked "Ms Satonaka was actually the one to suggest these creatures."

"Seriously, Erika?" Eiji asked.

"What? I thought they worked well." She admitted as she crossed her arms. "Besides, I have always been a fan of forbidden romances."

"'F-f-forbidden romances'? What're you talking about?" Eiji blushed as she just hummed and walked away again. "Erika!"

"Eiji. What is she talking about?" Ankh asked, grabbing his shirt.

"Huh?" He blinked.

"Something I need to know?" Ankh asked.

"Erika's just messing around." Eiji answered.

"You've been talking about her rather informally..." He commented.

"Because we've been work colleagues for ten years Ankh, calm down!" Eiji called, pushing his friend back "We've been working together for a while. Of course. I call her by her first name."

"Alright, I'll back off!" He answered as he released Eiji, huffing.

"Mr Kougami, when do you think Goda will attack?" Eiji asked.

"I'm not certain, but I would be cautious." He responded. "I just hope the use of these medals won't burn you out, Eiji."

"I hope not too, Mr Kougami." Eiji admitted.

"Speaking of, where are Goto and Date?" Ankh asked.

"On patrol, trying to help anyone they can." He responded.

"Yeah, we travelled far and wide." Date commented as the two entered the room "That was a long hour."

"That honestly flew by." Ankh commented.

"Glad it was for you." Goto responded as he slumped onto a chair.

caw!

CAW!

"Huh?" Eiji blinked, seeing the Ptera candroid flying around.

"The Greeed again?" Anhk frowned.

"It looks like it." Eiji nodded as he got up to his feet. "We've got to go, Ankh."

"Great, just when we got back from a recon mission." Date frowned.

"You guys rest, we've got it!" Eiji stated, rushing away.

Ankh gave a stern look at Kougami before rushing off to follow Eiji, he was going to need him.

"Don't forget the Medals!" Kougami called out before slumping in his chair and sighing.

"Sir?" Goto asked.

"I just...Cannot understand my ancestor." Kougami admitted, "How his view on desire could be so twisted and wrong."

"Hmm." Goto sighed heavily, trying to think about this. "Maybe he's just...consumed by that dream?"

"It is not his dream!" Kougami called, making the two jump. Because the man seemed... Genuinely angry. "Dreams, desires, are never bad! They are the most beautiful things in the world! No matter how 'terrible' society wishes to label individual desires! Desire... It is SK beautiful! The force of evolution! To grow, to improve, to try new things! The very nature of humanity itself! EVERYONE has a desire! And that is where true beauty comes from! Humanity cannot SURVIVE without it! But... To see it JUST as a weapon?! To see desire as nothing but a tool to control OTHERS' desires?! That is... That is WRONG!"

'This reminds me of when he went off from Nobunaga.' Date thought.

But they understood where the man came from.

So, they stayed silent. And watched.

...

When the building suddenly rattled.

*With Eiji and Ankh*

The two flew and drove off to where the Greeed were, they didn't want to let them get away.

"Eiji, what do you think you'll say to them when we find them?" Ankh asked.

"I don't know, but I'm not going to let them down." Eiji responded. "If we can save them from Goda, then we can stop him."

"Heh, same old Eiji." Ankh responded, muttering to himself. 'Where the hell *are* they?' he continued to think to himself, hoping to sense their Medals.

"Ankh, can you sense them?" Eiji asked as he screeched to a halt.

"They're close. But I can't see them." Ankh responded.

Eiji nodded, attaching his Driver...

BOOM!

And they were attacked from behind by a sudden blast of lightning.

They screamed, Eiji was flung off his bike, while Ankh was thrown further away because of the lightning.

'U-Uva!' Ankh thought through the pain.

"Gotcha, morons." Uva smugly remarked.

"Uva, that was a dirty trick." Eiji grunted as he got to his feet, after pushing the bike off him.

Chink

Chink

Chink!

"So what, OOO?" Uva hissed.

"I'm going to help you." Eiji responded.

"This again?" Uva growled.

"Yeah, 'this again'." Eiji responded, gripping the scanner in his hand as he tilted the Belt. "HENSHIN!"

Eiji's arms bent back a little ready to strike as he rushed forwards and began to fight Uva who was shooting lightning at him but was barely just missing.

SLAM!

"Argh!" Uva grunted, his head was punched in by Eiji's fist as he saw a flash of red come between his vision. 'Those teeth!' Uva thought, seeing a kick come his way before he was sawed into as dozens of cell medals came from him.

"Why did you attack us?" Eiji called out.

"Have you gotten denser in these ten years?" Uva rebutted, lunging his claws at Eiji.

'Damn you, Uva. What the hell do you-?' Ankh thought before he felt a second presence. "GAH!"

SLAM!

Gamel's fists came down to try and slam Ankh down but missed.

"Get back here!" Gamel roared out, his fists crumbling the dirt and stone underneath Ankh's feet.

"Yeah, I'm not falling for that!" Ankh responded as he threw fire into Gamel's face.

Gamel grunted as he was lightly blinded by the flames, causing him to splutter and back off. He reached down and grabbed a large chunk of road, throwing it at Ankh to strike his wings.

Whoosh!

Ankh dodged out of the way, while he wasn't as strong as Gamel or without his remaining Medals, he *could* still outmanoeuvre the big animal. He had six medals. And that would be enough!

"Alright, you dumb muscle." He grumbled. "This is for that tarmac throw!" And exhaled a plume of fire at him.

Eiji, meanwhile, was focused on his battle with Uva. Glad it was, at least, a one-on-one.

VRR!

SLASH!

VRR!

SLASH!

VRR!

Uva grunted as he tried to dodge as best as he could, blocking Eiji's kicks as the teeth cut into him.

"Gah! I hate that form, OOO!" Uva growled angrily.

"You can stop the fight, Uva. I can help you with Goda." Eiji responded.

"With what? A cluster of weaker new medals and a half-complete Ankh?" Uva snidely remarked.

"It's not just the strength of the Medals. It's how we use them!" Eiji answered, scanning his Medals as he crouched down and was ready to strike.

SCANNING CHARGE!

Eiji took two steps forward and leapt into the air, two blue rings and a red ring soon appeared as Uva shot lightning through the, to attack Eiji.

"SEIYAAA!"

Uva's insectoid eyes looked up and crossed his arms as he tried to block it. "GAMEL!"

Suddenly there was a rush of speed, Kazari slashing OOO out of the sky.

"HRAH!" Kazari's yellow claws slashed, striking Eiji multiple times before he fell to the ground.

Eiji grunted as he felt the transformation failing as he turned back to his normal self.

"Kazari?!" Ankh called out.

"You're both so easy." Kazari responded.

"You couldn't come sooner?" Uva snapped at him.

"You lived." Kazari waved off.

Eiji huffed as he pulled himself to his feet, frowning. "Ankh... Medals!" he called out "I need a new Combo!" his eyes flicked around the battlefield, frowning 'Three Vs One, great. Ankh's in no shape to fight properly. It needs to be me.'

"Ha! Here!" Ankh called out, throwing three medals to Eiji.

"Let's go!" he called, holding up the medals... and he was suddenly wrapped up with water "GAH!"

"Ah-ah-ah~, we can't have that." Mezool's voice teasingly responded as she grabbed him.

"No bad feelings, OOO. We've got our orders." Kazari responded.

"Orders?" Eiji grunted, struggling against his bonds "What, to take my medals?" he hissed.

"How'd you guess?" Mezool responded as she approached him.

"Kinda predictable." he admitted.

"The King wants them. And he doesn't want two OOO's running around." Uva added.

"Yeah, I guessed." he chuckled, his eyes flicking around them calmly.

"What more can you do? This is one fight you can't win." Mezool responded as she was right in front of him, looking into his eyes.

Eiji blinked and gulped as he looked at the water Greed, paying attention to their current position. 'Oh god.'

"Don't you-!" Ankh glared, before being caught by Gamel.

"I've got him, Mezool! I've got him!" Gamel cheered.

"Let go of me, you heavy bastard!" Ankh grunted.

Mezool continued to look into Eiji's eyes, the water Greeed smiling as Eiji's heart was thumping in his ears.

He was silent, no words escaping his lips as his mouth felt dry. Looking down as she took another step closer. Paying more attention to her than he ever had before.

He had only ever seen her as an opponent, as someone he had to stop. And as someone, he had to help. But now he was seeing her as something else as she grew closer.

"Can't blame a woman for a little light flirting."

He saw her as...

"A woman can only take so many hints, OOO-boy?"

He saw her as...

"Again, subtly Eiji-Boy. Might want to learn it, girls DO enjoy a bit of a chase."

He saw her as!

"Still, I have to say, seeing you bound up looked fun."

As a woman!

'And... And what a woman!' he thought as he looked down as she grew closer, taking in her appearance in a way he had never done before.

"Heh." Mezool smiled and chuckled as she looked at him.

Eiji began to see a beautiful woman; long black hair flowing to her shoulders, brown eyes that looked like chestnuts, a blue shirt under a black corset and a flowing black shawl that hugged her frame nicely to emphasize her curves, a black knee-length tight skirt with a ruffled aspect to it, fishnet stockings and black high heeled shoes. All to show off the long and slender legs she bore.

She was in her human form, something he admitted in the first place he isn't used to. And she was such a beautiful woman as well...

"I wonder if you'd be looking at me like that if I was in my Greeed form." she whispered mockingly, her breath washing over his face as she stood there. So close their faces were almost touching. She reached up and placed a hand on his chest, her perfectly manicured blue nails contrasting against his clothing... and she pushed, sending Eiji falling back. Crashing against the floor, grunting as his ass hit the concrete below him.

"Ouch." He winced.

"Stay! Away from Mezool!" Gamel snapped.

"It's alright, Gamel." Mezool reassured.

"Mezool, the hell are you doing?" Kazari rolled his eyes as she was patting Gamel's head.

"What? I can have fun with my prey." she joked as her body shimmered with blue medals, shifting into her Greeed form.

"You also... desire to understand the love between a mother and her child. To HAVE that love." Eiji commented, grunting as he rolled onto his stomach. Trying to stand.

"Don't try and get up, Eiji-boy. My water whips have you pinned." Mezool responded as she looked at him with that full understanding that he was right. However, her body... stiffened as he exposed her desire. Sure, it wasn't a secret. But it felt like she was being called out. And she felt the Greeed equivalent to anger, the faintest feeling. A tease of emotion, but not real emotion.

"What are you trying to get at, OOO?" Uva glared, putting his claws under Eiji's chin.

"Well, you want to be complete. Don't you?" Eiji asked Uva calmly.

"Of course, we do!" Uva snapped putting his fist dangerously close to Eiji's throat.

"I meant you, specifically. Your desire is to be complete. Like how Mezool wants to know the feeling of being a mother." Eiji responded, not afraid of Uva's blades. "Or like how Kazari wants power. Or how Gamel wants to make Mezool happy, as well as to have fun. I have to say, she is the luckiest mother around with you around. Most kids are just a pain for their parents. I know, I was one." As he finished, he gave a nostalgic laugh.

"Eiji..." Ankh whispered as he heard that, clasping the Medal book tightly.

He was treading on dangerous ground. Talking about the Greeed's desires... it was almost like a taboo to them. Something they did not outright talk about, their core desires.

"You've got five seconds before you'll-!" Kazari glared.

"You. Won't. Touch. Him." Mezool interrupted, showing the water whips.

"What?" Kazari hissed at the water Greeed before scoffing. "Oh, I get it! You want OOO Jr here to make you a mama! That's all you care about after all! Oh, you are so pathetic Mezool! Doing all this just to have some 'alone time'!"

"At least I'm not some blood knight wanting fight after fight!" Mezool snapped.

"Will you three knock it off?" Uva snarled as they were now fighting among themselves. He stood up and walked forwards, leaving Eiji alone as he got between the three "Can't you fools see what he's trying to do?!"

"Oh, don't talk big Uva! The cowardly bug, running and hiding! Trying to steal what he wants! Willing to be a slave if it means it'll be easy!" Kazari snapped, pushing Uva.

"Don't push me!" He pushed back. "I'm a survivor! What's your end goal? Punch everyone until they collapse?"

"No! I'm a tactician! I'll outthink, outlive, all of you! Even without my full power!" Kazari snapped.

"That's funny. I remember being the one forced to be the giant dice of death because of Maki's plan!" Uva snapped "I was the only one OOO did not kill! So I'd say I'm the smarter of us, CatBoy!"

"Do not tempt me, bug! You'll never hit me if we fight!" Kazari hissed.

'Even after all these years.' Ankh thought to himself and thought they were lucky, with their arguments, he and Eiji might be able to get out of this.

"You boys are literal children!" Mezool huffed as she crossed her arms, glaring as she cocked her hips.

"Says you, water witch!" Uva hissed without thinking before blinking, realising what he'd done. He was trying to calm things down, damn it!

"Yeah! You were the one defending OOO because you want a baby daddy!" Kazari snapped as he saw the opening Uva had caused and took it.

"Leave Mezool alone! You're being mean!" Gamel stomped his foot.

"You LITERAL child, stay out of this! Mezool this, Mezool that! Do you know how annoying you are?!" Uva snapped.

"Also, you don't think Mezool will leave you once she's got a child with OOO?" Kazari snorted.

Gamel's head turned to Mezool in disbelief. "She wouldn't! She won't! You're a liar!"

PUNCH!

"Argh! You idiot! Getting angry over something that's true that your tiny mind can't handle!" Kazari grunted.

"Hey! Don't talk to my Gamel that way, or I will slit your throat with your own claws you overgrown cat!" Mezool snapped.

"Go to your damn toy boy, you sl-" Kazari hissed.

"Alright! That's enough!" Eiji yelled out.

The Greeed all turned to Eiji in shock as he had gotten back to his feet while they were all arguing.

He was hunched over a bit, hiding his body "Please! Stop fighting!" he urged calmly.

"What did you say?" Uva asked in shock.

"I said to stop fighting!" Eiji said. "I wasn't trying to start a fight!"

"Then what the hell were you trying?" Kazari asked.

"To get you all to get... that I understand you." Eiji urged.

"You...understand us?" Gamel asked in confusion and shock.

"I was slowly becoming a Greeed. And then... then I spent years. Years thinking back. I came to understand all of you and your desires. Who you are. What makes you... you." Eiji explained.

"You deconstructed us? Found out what made us tick?" Uva asked.

"No, nothing like that." Eiji responded. "I learned. And I did all this to bring you back. To help you realise what you already had and what I could help with."

"Eiji." Ankh grunted as he got to his feet.

"Goda doesn't care about you. Once he gets the New Medals, he'll take yours for his own." Eiji informed, having deduced some of what he thought of the former king.

"OOO-Boy." Mezool sighed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"As if we should believe you, OOO." Kazari glared.

"I know you don't believe me. But I hope you will trust me." Eiji answered.

The Greeed all looked at each other as they heard Eiji, 'trust him' he said. Only as far as they could throw him.

"Enough of this. I'm going to cut him to pieces." Kazari commented, pushing past the others.

Mezool grabbed his hand using her water whips. "You won't, Kazari." She threatened him.

"Why?!" Kazari snapped "We are SERIOUSLY going in circles! So just explain yourself Mezool!"

"He's mine! My toy; got it?" She glared, pointing at him.

...

"Your... Toy?" Uva asked, the Greeed looking at her in confusion.

"You've got your desires. I want mine." She answered.

"How about you get a different toy then! Maybe one that's NOT our enemy!" Uva snapped.

"And why him, anyway?" Kazari mocked Mezool, like an older brother who had found out about his sister's crush.

"There's something *about* him." She answered. 'Mostly he has those Aquatic Medals.'

"Ha! As if Eiji would agree to something so stupid, right Eiji?!" Ankh yelled mockingly.

Eiji looked away as he didn't want to answer that. Nor did he want to deny it.

...

"Eiji?" Ankh asked.

"Can we... Change the subject?" Eiji asked.

"Argh! Enough! No more talking!" Gamel pushed past. "You can't make Mezool happy! Only I can!" And slammed his foot into the ground to lift Eiji and flung him away.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

Eiji was flung away as his crouched body began to have multiple Medals encircling him.

"Uh-oh." Gamel whispered.

SHIGA-ZE-SHI! SHI-GAZESHI! SHIGA-ZE-SHI~!

Eiji's feet slammed into the ground as he was now free of Mezool's bindings, panting he ripped off the limiters and rushed right at them as they were all clumped together.

Clink!

Clink!

"Ru-!" Kazari called out, only to be bull-horned in the stomach by Eiji's fist as he rushed right at them with intense ferocity.

PUNCH!

PUNCH!

KICK!

The Greeed were all stuck back by Eiji, being flung around in four directions.

"Time. To finish this!" Eiji grabbed his scanner.

"Urgh. This has been a crap day." Uva grunted.

SCANNING CHARGE!

"Oh no." Gamel frowned.

"HA! SEIYAAA!" Eiji rushed around them, circling the area, hooking them with his horns before ramming them into a wall.

"How did he transform? I had him tied up?!" Mezool asked as they stood up, glaring at Eiji.

"You really didn't think I wouldn't have trained to transform in awkward positions?" Eiji remarked with a smirk. "I've gotten limber and smarter to this."

'Limber?' Mezool thought and giggled.

"Anhk! New combo!" Eiji called.

"Here!" Ankh threw the next set of Medals over to Eiji.

"Argh! Hnn! I won't let you!" Uva grunted as he ran at him.

Chink!

Chink!

Chink!

"HENSHIN!" Eiji proclaimed as he scanned the medals.

BIKASO! BI-KA-SO~!

Eiji's body was armoured by the Arthropod animals again, his large crab claws catching Uva in his rush and gripping his forearms tightly.

CLANG!

"Gah! A-ARGH!" Uva grunted as the claws bent down upon him.

"Sorry about this." Eiji apologised.

"You're 'sorry'?" Uva snapped.

Eiji immediately kicked and struck Uva as he almost cut through the Cell Medals inside of him, scattering them to the floor.

crash!

...

"I've had it!" Uva snarled. "We are SO much more than you! So much more powerful! Enough playing around!"

"Couldn't agree more." Eiji agreed, grabbing his Scanner and ready to strike.

SCANNING CHARGE!

SHINK!

Eiji's crab-clawed hands and scorpion-tailed feet began to glow as he quick-stepped forward.

Eiji's appearance was a blur to the Greeed, except for Kazari as he was used to seeing faster than most.

SLASH!

SLASH!

SLASH!

Kazari grunted as he held back the Rider's pincers. Using his claws to hold the attack back.

Eiji's eyes widened in fear as he felt Kazari's strength that he was giving out.

"Move, now!" Kazari ordered the group, forcing them to evacuate.

He threw Eiji back, Mezool giving a mighty kick to his chest.

Water burst from her attack, sending Eiji into the sky. As he neared the apex, Uva shot out a blast of lightning. Yelling in pain, Eiji shook wildly, before Gamel slammed his foot down.

Gravity dragged OOO towards the ground, crashing hard.

"Eiji!" Ankh called.

Uva's lightning began to charge up as they all combined their attacks, shooting Eiji down.

"GAH!" He howled in pain, crashing down... And stood up. Despite the pain.

Ankh flew over to him, ready to protect his friend as the four Greeed vanished from the explosion of various powers, leaving the two on their own.

Eiji's armour shattered, falling to his knees. And quickly falling...

...

Into Ankh's arm, the blonde catches his friend.

"Idiot." Ankh whispered, grabbing him before he fell.

"Wh-where are they?" Eiji asked as the Greeed had vanished.

"Damn it all." Ankh frowned.

Bzz! Bzz!

"Huh?" The two asked, Eiji reaching down and answering his phone. "Hello?"

"Eiji! We've been attacked! Mr Kougami has been kidnapped!" Erika called out.

"What?!" The two gasped.

"A large group of Yummies attacked the base and kidnapped him. Goda's going to use him for the new Driver!" Erika deduced.

"What! We're on our way!" Eiji called, hanging up. He frowned, seeing his RideVendor trashed and hurried over to another vending machine.

"Thank god Kougami set all these up." Eiji smiled.

...

"Why the hell did he put a vending machine in the middle of god knows where?" Ankh deadpanned. "It makes sense if you know him but...why?"

"Don't argue with a dedicated mind, it's not worth it." Eiji sighed as the RideVendor transformed. "Plus... It's Tokyo. We have vending machines everywhere."

Ankh rolled his eyes and sighed. "Let's just go."

VRRRR!

*At the Kougami Foundation*

"Hnn! Here." Hana grunted as she was bolstering up some defences at the front with fallen cars and vending machines.

"Thanks. Hana." Goto panted as he was resting up, bruised and battered.

"I should be thanking you. You went out and defended us." Hana responded.

"Don't forget me, Hana." Date laughed while wincing.

"I haven't." She answered as the sound of a motorbike drove towards them.

"They got here fast." Goto sighed in relief.

"What happened? Is everyone okay?" Eiji asked as he dismounted the bike.

"We went toe to toe with a damn group of Yummies that hit like fully-fledged Greeed." Date admitted.

"What? How?" Eiji asked as he was carried by Ankh.

"Goda." Ankh deduced. "He made them give their Cell Medals to him to create Yummies; right?"

"Most likely. It was hell just to try and stop them. That damn King's desire." Date frowned.

"You don't have to remind me of that." Ankh responded.

"But what did happen?" Eiji asked.

"You two better sit down, it's not going to be good." Erika answered.

*Flashback*

Date and Goto were relaxing, recovering from their journey around the city a while ago.

"Great work you two." Mr Kougami spoke as he saw them.

"It's what we do, Sir." Goto responded, looking at his Birth Driver and feeling like he wasn't strong enough to keep up with Eiji, but he needed to be to protect the city.

But soon, they heard rumbling under their feet. Something was coming.

"What the hell is-?" Date asked before their eyes widened. "Yummies! Big ones!"

"Nothing we can't take care of." Goto frowned... And Kougami placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Goto my boy. What is worrying you?" The man asked.

"I. I'm worried that it's not going to be enough." Goto admitted. "There's too many Yummies. It feels like an uphill battle."

...

And Kougami slapped him across the back of the head.

"OW! What the hell?" He turned to his boss, forgetting that he was his boss for a moment.

"Where's that drive of yours, Goto?" Mr Kougami asked, looking at him. "You have never backed down from a fight before, have you?" Kougami asked. "And you always got back up!"

"I know sir. But these months without Hino? And the Birth system is barely able to TOUCH the Greeed when they are complete and serious? It has been building." Goto admitted

"Then why not come to see me about it?!" Kougami yelled dramatically, throwing his hands into the air "We have been toying with ideas on how to improve Birth, but since neither of you said anything, we were only on the idea phase! If you had told me, it would have been finished before Ankh was revived and Eiji awakened!"

Both Date and Goto looked away, feeling ashamed by that. They had all that time, but none of the thought to voice their wants.

"You both know what I think of desire." Kougami said as he pressed a few buttons, a section of the wall opening up to reveal a TV screen "This design was almost completed." he admitted.

The two looked up at the design of the New Birth System.

While it was in black and white, they saw the wider shoulder pads that flowed into the chest plate. The higher collar. The X-like design on the chest. And the extended visor. Under it was labelled 'Birth-X'.

"Birth-X would have given Goto the power of Core Medals. Specially designed ones just for him." Kougami explained "Alternate, black, versions of the BiKaSo combo medals, the prototypes of which were used in the resurrection of Nobunaga. We also had another one for Date, an improvement on the Cell Medal focused Birth. ReBirth. But it would have more limited weaponry. Neither are finished at this time, as I said."

"Damn it, we're idiots." Date sighed heavily.

"Yeah." Goto frowned as he pulled out his BirthDriver... And flicked it around his waist. "Date, we've got a job to do."

"We're up." Date agreed and nodded.

"Henshin!" The two spoke together, slotting their Cell Medals and transforming into Birth and Proto-Birth respectively.

In flashes of light, they had transformed.

Goto, as Birth, stood there with shining armour. A black body-suited figure, wearing black boots with golden clasps around the ankles, silver kneecaps with spherical green and white halves on the kneecaps, silver thigh-guards with more balls that were half green and half white, black bracers with more silver metal with similar orbs and silver shoulder guards with single green and white orbs. Over the chest was a green ventilated chest guard with a silver clasp going over the left-hand side with a large green and white orb in the centre of the left. A black helmet with a yellow jawline, silver mouth guard, and a black 'U' shaped visor with a green and white orb design on the forehead. And around their waist was a strange belt buckle, primarily silver with a large golden knob on the right-hand side, a silver coin slot on the left-hand side and a black centre. And in the centre was an opened orb with a green bottom half and a top white half and a glowing white ball in the middle.

Date, meanwhile, was Proto-Birth. New identical, with red lines down his shin armour. As well as his forearm armour and shoulder pads. And finally, a red ring around the chest orb.

"Let's go, Goto-Chan." Date spoke.

"Right, Date-San." Goto nodded as they rushed out with their BirthBusters at the ready.

As they ran, emerging out of different rooms and loungers were soldiers. All wearing BirthDrivers.

"Henshin!" They called, following the two leaders as they transformed with flashes of blue.

Wearing near identical armour to Proto-Birth, with blue Gashapon capsules and blue lines upon their body alongside a coloured silver visor instead of their superiors' black ones. These were dubbed BirthTroopers, a mass production Rider army.

Running at the Yummies, the large group of Birth Riders seemed intimidating, with Goto and Date leading the charge.

The Yummies shambled right at the Birth Riders, their mummy-wrapped bodies running at the group and covering their master.

CLANG!

These were not blank Yummies either. They were fully evolved, animalistic, Yummies.

"Hnn! W-What the-?" Date grunted and ground, fighting against a Lion Yummy.

"Th-they're strong!" Goto looked in shock, his feet digging into the ground as he was holding back a Rhino Yummy.

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

BANG!

Several blasts from BirthBusters from the BirthTroopers fired, hitting the Yummies, but it was like shooting a brick wall. Nothing was happening!

"Damn it. These guys... Are so damn annoying." Date hissed, slamming a medal into his belt and flicking the knob with one powerful twist.

Drill Arm!

Within a second, Date's arm soon gained a large silver drill which attempted to gore the Yummy in front of him, it being a Lion it should've been easy.

The Lion Yummy roared out like a wild cat, the drill barely penetrating the outer layer of its muscular frame.

Cutter Wings

"Let's go!" Goto called out as energy formed on his back.

A large pair of metallic silver wings appeared on Goto's back, looking like a metal boomerang with a thin yellow circuit line going down the edges; he reached back and attempted to use them to slash into the Rhino Yummy.

Said Yummy grunted as he was getting cut, but it looked to be more of an annoyance if anything.

'Four of them.' Goto thought, shooting out at the different Yummies.

Lion.

Rhino.

Stag Beetle.

Orca.

Those were the four that were there. And each of them felt incredibly strong. Stronger than any of the other Yummies they had faced. It was almost like-.

And in a flash, Date and Goto saw the same thing; they felt like they were facing the Four Greeed.

'Crap.' They both thought.

The BirthTroopers continued to fire, as between the Yummies they saw Goda; standing there like a general who was commanding his own troops. Hands behind his back and with a look that was making the heroes demeaned. "This is... Entertaining." He chuckled.

''Entertaining'?' Date thought, being pushed back by the Lion Yummy.

'He doesn't see us as a threat?' Goto thought angrily, using his Cutter Wings as a sword.

Breast Cannon!

Breast Cannon!

The two Birth Riders summoned their strongest attacks, feeling the energy harness and pile up as this was a point-blank attack.

"SHOOT!" Date yelled out, the two unleashing their blasts of giant red energy.

Their Breast Cannon blasts shot out and struck the Yummies blasting them at such close range, that they were flung back.

It was like a small war. The Birth army gave their all, as Goda proudly walked into the Kougami Foundation.

The King seemed to pass through them, and they moved out of the way unintentionally, like he was commanding their respect, but it was really his intimidating presence.

Mr Kougami and Erika looked on in shock, he was walking through them so easily.

"Ms Satonaka, get back." Kougami urged calmly.

"Sir?" Ms Satonaka asked in shock.

"Get back and stay inside. He's too dangerous." Kougami ordered as he began to walk away.

Mr Kougami and King OOO soon approached each other, the King having a confident grin on his face. "Hello, Child."

"Old man." Kougami stared back, still with his ever-present smile.

"Your army is...decent." King OOO remarked, albeit with some sarcasm.

"You used your own malicious desires to create those Yummies. Correct?" Mr Kougami responded.

"Guilty as charged. Almost as strong as the real Greeed."

"I heard stories of that final battle in texts. Thought they were exaggerations"

"You'd think so, but it's my desire that fuels them." The King flexed his hand in a gesture that showed regal gesture. "That gives them their power."

Mr Kougami frowned as he heard that, realising that his ancestor's desires could not be halted only projected and directed.

"You know how this is going to go, Child." King OOO spoke, looking at his descendent.

"ARGH!" Many members of the BirthTroopers screamed as Birth and Proto-Birth were being shot back by the Yummies.

"You know how this will end." King OOO smirked.

"Fine." Kougami answered with a cheerful laugh, going to his bookshelf.

"Mr Kougami!" Ms Satonaka called out.

"Don't worry, Ms Satonaka." He responded as he grabbed a few books "He requires my assistance, after all. I am his only hope in making a new OOODriver."

"I...Yes, Sir." She frowned.

"You promise to stop the attack?" Mr Kougami turned to his ancestor.

"You have my word as King." He responded.

"Excellent! Then let's go!" Kougami cheered, marching out.

The King rose his hands and ordered the Yummies to retreat, they had what he needed. His coronation would begin.

*End Flashback*

"Then they left, leaving our troops beaten and battered." Ms Satonaka finished. "We were left to heal, but the King will create his second OOO Driver."

"Crap." Eiji hissed.

"I didn't think he couldn't stoop so low." Ankh frowned as he realised that there would be an army of 'Yummy Greeeds' if he allowed it. "And who knows where he took him."

Well, all we can do now is prepare and heal." Hina smiled "This is Mr Kougami. I'm sure he has a plan."

"Tch. Your right. The old man is screwed as they come. Ha." Ankh scoffed, chuckling at the end.

"Your right." Eiji nodded, turning to the two Birth's and smiling "Leave this to us!" He nodded.

"Thanks, Eiji." Date answered.

"Just promise us this." Goto asked.

"What?" Ankh asked.

"Go kick that psycho King's ass. Hard." Goto responded.

"Of course." Both smiled.
