The new day begins with Ruby and Akira in each other's arms, with Akira waking up first. "Ngah... Morning Rub-", he noticed Ruby was still asleep, so she didn't hear anything. He begins to get out of the bed, and concocts a great idea. As a thank-you gift for letting him stay over, he wanted to go cook breakfast for Ruby. Heading into the kitchen, he starts to make some pancakes, making sure each one is fluffy. Smelling the aroma of the food, Ruby wakes up and head to the kitchen herself.
"Oh! Good morning Ruby! How did you sleep?", Akira asked as he served Ruby. "I slept decently, especially after cuddling with cutie~", Ruby responds cheekily. Akira grows a bit rosy, but just continues to serve himself. "I do hope you like them, I wanted to thank you for letting me stay. Oh, before you ask, the secret ingredient is love~", Akira giggles a bit before he digs in slowly. The pancakes themselves we're rather thin, yet soft to the touch, as Akira was practicing Ruby's preferred variant. "I do hope that you like my first attempt, I'm used to making American pancakes", Akira commented. "Well, you made quite the first attempt, I really love these", Ruby complemented.
After the two finished enjoying their breakfast, Akira suggested to go around town, and explore. "Well, I've never been here, and I would really love it if you were to show me around". Ruby, was rather hesitant on his notion, but obliged as it was his first time. "Well, where would you want to explore?" "I know! We could check out your town square! Maybe even visit some of those shops you enjoy!", Akira suggested. "Well then, if that is where you want to go, then lets go there, just make sure to get dressed", Ruby stated. "You too Ruby, as much as I love seeing your bare skin, I don't think the locals will appreciate it as much...", Akira remarked. "I'll go fulfill your wish, and you're free to enjoy the show~", Ruby teased, with Akira slightly flushing a bit, shaking it off and getting dressed himself.
The two head down to the town square, and Akira eyes light up with curiosity. "This place is so peaceful, and the shops look really interesting!" The situation can almost be compared to holding back a dog while walking, as Akira bounced around and looked at every building, including the farmer's marked that was in town for the day. Ruby was rather calm about the whole ordeal, even with Akira flying around town like a tourist. "You know, there isn't a lot to be all excited for, the town square is rather simple", Ruby stated. "Well, I know that, but this is really intriguing to me! I just love how different this place feels compared to home", Akira mentioned, as he settled down. "One other thing we can do is just head to the park and relax", Akira suggests, "You did make the park seem really peaceful, making it a good place to stop!" Ruby just agrees, and the two walk off to the park.
While they were there, they found a bench to sit down, and used it. "I'd say that we had our fair share of fun, and I really enjoyed spending time with you!", Akira told Ruby, as he just smiled. "Well... I'm pleased to know that you enjoyed our little adventure. Plus, I was kind of due to head out anyway, so this fulfills that need", Ruby mentioned, as she just relaxes alongside Akira. They both watch the sun slightly set, before the two of them decide to call it quits. "Well, before we head home, I could get you some food from that place you like eating at, if you want", Akira offered. "That won't be necessary cutie, especially with a meal like yourself~", Ruby flirted, with Akira flushing a bit. "N-not in public... I don't think flirting out here is a good idea...", Akira stumbles a bit with his words. "Well, your little run around town wasn't very secretive either, hah!~", Ruby teased, with Akira just blushing more, to the point where he turns away. "Well then, aren't we going home?", Akira questioned. "Sure, we'll head back home", Ruby confirmed, as the two walk off to the neighborhood.
With the two back into the safety and privacy of their home, they are able to just cuddle in the couch again, as they just sit there and think of things to do. "We could watch something, like last time!", Akira suggested. "Why not some RWBY? I know that you don't want to force another person to watch the show, since you've done that to so many folks as is, but I want to watch some with you, since your so passionate about it!". Ruby shook her head, "Nope, how about something other than RWBY?" Ruby asked in return. Akira shrugged, "Well, if you want to be like that, Demon Slayer is always an option, especially since I've still haven't continued watching it since episode 1", he recommended. "If that's what you want to watch, come lay down with me, and I'll be big spoon", Ruby said, as she already laid down on the couch. "But I want to be the big spoon! You prefer little spoon more anyway!", Akira retaliated, as he moved behind Ruby to hold her in front of him, with her back against his chest.
Even with the two fighting over who gets to be big spoon, they eventually resolved the issue, with Akira being small spoon. "Hmph... I don't win against you huh?", Akira complained. "Come on Akira, you know you want me to be big spoon~", Ruby teased Akira, with him flustering a bit. "Just turn on the anime...", Akira mumbles. As the episodes went by, Akira got cozier into Ruby's arms, relaxing easier into her chest, and nuzzling deeper into her. "Hmm? Someone not as grumpy anymore thanks to me being big spoon?~", Ruby playfully said to Akira. "I'm only doing this because there isn't much couch left, and that you're warm", Akira grumbled back, holding onto Ruby's arms with his own. The two just continue to watch anime, and despite the circumstances, they're both enjoying each other's company.
After watching most of season 1 of Demon Slayer, they both decide to call it quits for the night. "Hey Ruby...", Akira asked, "Next time we watch anime, can I be little spoon again?" Ruby giggled a bit, "Sure you can cutie, you're really cozy to cuddle up to~". As the two got off the couch, Akira told Ruby that he would be in her room, waiting for her to hop in bed. "It's just that I want to make the bed nice and cozy for you when you come up", Akira stated, before moving along to the bedroom. Ruby gathers herself, and heads off to the bedroom as well, seeing Akira cozied up in bed, waiting for more snuggles. "Aww cutie, you warmed the bed up for me?", Ruby got comfortable, then hopped in. "Ah, you did make this bed nice and comfy for me, thanks Akira~" Ruby thanked, holding him closer to her chest. "You're welcome Ruby, I'll make sure you're bed is always comfy!" Akira promised.
"Hey... you know that I'll never truly leave you... right?", Akira asked with a concerned tone. "Well, I know you won't, even though you do go times without even booping me...", Ruby mentions. "Well then, I'll make sure to do that more", Akira confirms. The two then just snuggle deeper into each other, falling asleep together within their arms...
