Harry couldn't shake this uneasy feeling, it had been two weeks since his fight with the Minotaur, once he awoke he was delighted to see Sam smiling down at him, that soon turned to horror when sam revealed he was leaving, he had been allowed a searchers license, he would search for the lost God Pan, it didn't matter to Sam how much Harry begged him not to go, he would not listen. Harry knew that each of the satyrs that had gone and searched for the lost god was never seen again.

As Harry sat with his back against a large birch tree he surveyed the camp, he couldn't shake the feeling that had settled in his stomach, it was a feeling of dread and fear. As Harry looked upon the camp he could see the two newcomers he had rescued, they were going to the archery range, after speaking to Sam he was introduced to the Demigods he had saved, one was a small girl called Iris, she was a daughter of Aphrodite, the other was a young boy called Liam, he was a son of Apollo, after a small and quick greeting, they thanked him for saving them, she simply nodded back to them feeling slightly awkward.

As Harry made his way back to the cabins Annabeth soon ran to join him, since waking up she was being a bit more possessive, she would constantly be by his side, almost afraid that if she left him alone for too long he would get into another fight, he couldn't really blame her he thought.

"Haaaarrrryyyyy", Annabeth whined, as she sped in front of him to look him in the eyes, as Harry turned to look at her, he made the mistake of looking her in the eyes, as he did, she struck, her eyes became bigger, her iris and pupil seemed to dilate, soon she had a full set of puppy eyes, they were the kind that could make Harry break and give in to her demands. Steeling his resolve, he replied

"Yessss" he extended his reply to try and but more time to brace himself.

"Could you help me with my training" She uttered, her gaze never leaving his, to which Harry's reply was a huff

Since he had gained Elding he was able to best the other campers, it would now take multiple opponents fighting him at once to give him pause, he had since decided to practice hand-to-hand combat, just in case he was unable to get to his weapon and couldn't wield magic. Because of this, he was sparring with Clarissa more often, mainly as she was one of the few people who was nearly as strong as him, and she was an expert in hand-to-hand combat.

"Annabeth, you know I'm not using weapons at the minute, if we fought, it would not be fair", he replied, trying to get her to see reason.

Unfortunately, it didn't seem to work, as Annabeth's eyes suddenly became watery and as her bottom lip began to tremble, Harty crumbled and as he gave out a tired sigh, Annabeth seemed to perk up, gave a small cheer, and dragged him to the fighting arena.

...

Flashes. It was all he could make out, one moment he could see Sam, the next he could see streets and houses, as his dream progressed he could hear a scream, soon he could see Sam, he was fumbling backward away from something, Harry couldn't make out what, all he could tell was whatever it was, it was big. Before Harry could move, he awoke with a gasp, his body drenched in sweat. As he tried to calm his erratically beating Heart, he thought back on what he had seen. Sam. He was in trouble, as he thought this, the uneasy feeling in his stomach intensified, 'I'll talk to Chiron tomorrow' As he thought this, he lay back on his bed, and twiddled his Mjolnir pendant, trying to calm his heart and settle the feeling in his stomach.

...

"He's in trouble, I know he is" Harry had finished explaining his dreams to Chiron, and the Centaur had listened patiently until he had finished.

"Dreams can be interpreted in many different ways, this dream could be something real, or it could simply be a dream, you yourself said you were worried about him," Chiron said as he looked down at Harry.

"Or it could be real, Please believe me, this didn't feel like a dream, it felt real" Harry spoke again, trying to get Chiron to understand his concerns.

Unfortunately, Chiron didn't seem to believe him, "Harry, unless we hear differently, this is probably just a dream" Haraldir was posied to speak back, but Chiron beat him to the punch, "However, I will consult with Dyonisis and see if he can get anything back from Sam, or even an Iris message", Having said this, Chiron nodded back to Harry and canted back to the big house.

...

That evening after Dinner, Chiron had spoken to Harry, so far they had heard nothing from Sam, he didn't seem to be in any danger, Chiron declared it was just a bad dream and nothing more.

That Night, Haraldir had the same dream again, Sam looking terrified, a huge figure blocking out the light, casting its shadow upon Sam, he could just make out some of the building next to Sam before he was awoken again, once again drenched in sweat with his heart beating out of his chest.

'Screw this' he thought, he soon jumped out of bed and ran to his Library, he looked around the many books that lined his Library, he looked for any with famous landmarks, but he couldn't see any, not to be defeated, he closed his eyes and willed his magic to summon any book that could help him.

With a sudden jolt a book smashed straight into his face, he quickly shook his head and collected the book, it was on local famous landmarks in America, silently giving out a small thanks to his magic he flipped through the book, looking for anything that he recognized in his dreams.

'Here' He thought as he glanced at the open book 'Museum of Fine Arts He read, he recognized the landmark from his dream, Sam had run across it in terror, 'Boston' He thought.

Steeling his resolve, he quickly packed a small bag with a spare pair of clothes, the book of Landmarks, and a small bag of Divine and mortal currency. As he dressed he made sure he had Elding on him.

Just as he was about to leave the cabin, a single solitary thought flashed across his mind 'Annabeth' He knew his sister would worry once he was missed, or even worse think he had simply left and abandoned her, 'Just like he Father' He thought.

Harry quickly penned a simple note and walked to his sister's room, with a quick pulse of magic he unlocked her door and quietly entered, he room was near identical to his, a large bookshelf adorned the far wall, and she had weaponry on a workbench and a small number of Clothes in a wardrobe. As he crept forwards, he gently placed the note on her bedside table, and careful not to wake her, he managed to close and lock her door after him.

As Haraldir walked out of the cabin, he began to trek to the exit, he knew he could jump to New Jersey, but after that, he would either have to take transport or jump from place to place that he could see. As he walked towards the exit, he was stopped by a voice coming from behind him, "Haraldir", as he twisted his body to look back, he was surprised to see Hestia, she was in her 9-year-old child form.

"Lady Hestia", Harry spoke bowing to the waste, she was one of the few people who would not call him by his nickname, she claimed that his name was special and should always be used, he had asked for everyone to call him by Harry, he preferred it that way, it made him feel slightly more normal, not such an outsider.

Hestia was quick to walk to him, as she did, she took in his appearance "Where are you going"

Harry explained his concerns and what he was going to do, Hestia seemed to think for a moment before she nodded to him, "Come with me, I have a way to get you closer". As she finished, she spun around and walked back to the great fire that was in the center of the camp.

As they both stood in front of the campfire, Hestia waved her hand at it, as she did, the flames took a purple hue, she turned to Harry, "This will take you to a small campfire in providence, you can make your way from there".

Not one to question gift, he simply nodded to her and gave her his thanks.

Traveling through fire was an odd experience Haraldir thought, one moment he was at the camp, the next he was surrounded by purple fire, and in the blink of an eye, he was walking out of a small campfire in the middle of a wooded area. The moment Haraldir stepped out of the campfire, the fire died, killing the light and enveloping himself and the forest in darkness, with a small amount of location and scrying magic, he found the direction to Boston.

...

The walk from Providence to Boston was a long one, it took him a good day to walk at least halfway, and even with his enhanced stamina he was still feeling the effect of the walk, he was soon too tired to continue, so he bought passage on a small bus from the village he was in, it would take him to Boston and allow him to get some much-needed sleep.

As soon as he closed his eyes, he was out, and it was only until they arrived in Boston that Harry awoke. As he walked through Boston he managed to find the Museum, only by the time he found it, it was dark outside. As he walked around the Museum he spotted where he last saw Sam in his dream, he quickly ran in that direction to try and see if he could find Sam.

As he was running, his blood chilled as a scream of pain rang through the air, before he realized what he was doing, Harry was running in the direction of the scream, when he turned the corner to the dark alley, his body froze. Lying on the floor in a pool of his own blood, was Sam, his normal white skin was darkened and in some areas blackened, a large slice had been ripped across his stomach and was pooling out blood. As Harry looked past Sam he saw the Monster that had caused Sam to be in such a state, it was massive, easily the size of the Minotaur, only the thing looked as though it was made of Molten rock.

Hearing Sam moan out in pain broke Harry from his musings on the monster, seeing his friend in such a state and looking so terrified broke something in Harry, with a loud roar, he ran at the creature, his roar seemed to alert the monster as it soon turned to face him, as Harry was running at it he got finally got a good look the thing from the front, much like its back his body seemed to be made out of molten rock, it had flame and lava flowing from each piece of rock that made up its body, its face was splintered and rocky.

As Harry got closer to the monster, he former Elding into its true form and lept into the air, using the hammer for aid was able to reach a new height until he towered over the monster, as he reached his crescendo he slammed Elding down upon the monster, just as the hammer smashed into its face, it seemed to have little effect, as the monster was simply forced to turn with its face, and did not break into the crumbled rockfall as he was expecting.

As he landed in front of Sam he twisted and looked back at the monster, it had straightened itself and was now staring straight at Harry, the thing raised its arm high into the air, and as it did, a huge sword seemed to form in its palm and with speed not expected from such a thing, it slashed downwards at Harry, who quickly twisted his body and watched as the sword sliced just past his nose and seemed to melt into the ground from the force the monster put in the swing.

Seeing this, Harry swung Elding to the right and aimed to hit the monster at its center, just at the last second the monster managed to pull out its sword and swiped at the hammer, it managed to push his hammer out of the way, with his midsection now exposed, the Monster went to stab into Haraldir chest, just as the blade approached his chest Haraldir managed swipe Elding upwards to block the shot.

The pair traded blows for a few minutes until Harry was soon dripping with sweat, this monster was strong, he was able to block his hammer and keep up with him blow by blow, another issue was the heat this thing was giving off, he was also dripping with blood, he had several small cuts along his body, thinking quickly he came up with an idea, if this was a being of Fire, maybe water could help him defeat it.

Harry quickly jumped backward, as he did, he dropped Elding and thrust both his hands out, as he did, he willed his magic to create a torrent of ice and frost to blow towards the monster, as the Monster approached him, it raised its sword high to strike him, just as the monster brought the sword down, it began to stagnate, until eventually the monster was frozen in place. Seeing an opportunity, Harry summoned Elding, with the hammer back in his hand, he put all of his force and threw Elding into the monster, as the hammer struck the frozen monster, it shattered on impact, leaving nothing but gold dust on its wake.

Harry bent low and with his hands on his knees breathed in deeply, he was exhausted, he was dripping with sweat. As he stood, he heard a small groan coming from his right, and to his horror, he remembered why he had raced to the alley, Sam. As Harry ran into the corner, it appeared that Sam had managed to hide behind a dumpster. Once he was by Sam, Harry dropped to his knees, "Sam" he uttered, staring at the blood that had saturated his t-shirt.

As Harry peeled back the shirt, ignoring the pained moan coming from Sam, his heart stopped, it seemed the monster had not only caused a large slash across Sam's stomach to the side, but it had cut into his liver. As Harry pulled his shirt back down, Sam smiled weekly at him, "I...Should've listened...to you" Sam uttered, his breath labored and voice soft.

Tears formed in Harry's eyes, he slowly shook his head "Don't talk like that, we'll get you fixed up, this is nothing but a little cut, one of the sons of Apollo can heal that up in no time" even as he spoke he knew it was a lie, tears started to stream down his face and he pressed upon the wound, trying to stem the blood.

'Come on Harry, think, think' He racked his brain for any healing spell that he could use to help Sam, but he couldn't think of anything, even as he tried harder nothing came to mind. Steeling himself, Harry decided to just will his magic to heal, he gently placed his hand on Sam's wound and willed his magic to save his friend, as the magic raced to the wound, he could feel something fighting him, where the monster had cut, it had cauterized parts of the wound making it even harder to heal.

Harry wouldn't give up, he just pushed more and more magic into it, he was so focused he nearly missed Sam speaking, "Harry", looking up, he could see Sam was drastically losing color, his voice was weaker and his breathing labored. "It's okay," Sam said, and before Harry's eyes, Sam's eyes began to close.

"No, come on" Harry yelled, he wouldn't let Sam die, he gritted his teeth and pushed his magic into the wound, "Come on Sam, stay with me, open your eyes, COME ON SAM" He screamed, not wanting to lose his first friend, but it was all for nothing, Sam just gave one small smile to him, and gave out his last breath.

Harry froze, and his whole body began to shake, as he pulled out his hand he noticed his whole arm was covered in blood, "No", it was all he could say. Eventually, he fell backward, he just stared at Sam, he was unmoving, he simply sat there, his eyes closed, a peaceful smile on his lips.

Tears began to pour down his face until eventually Harry's anguish sobs could be heard from the houses down the street, as Harry began to cry rain began pouring down, it was as though the heavens were weeping with him. As Harry's cries turned into screams of denial, thunder and lightning began to rain down.

He was unsure of how long he sat there, but eventually, Harry's tears stopped flowing, as they did, the rain and thunder let out and eventually cleaned. As Harry gazed at Sam's body, he felt hollow, he had failed, and because of him, his friend was dead, 'Why didn't I learn any healing spells, why didn't Chiron believe me, why didn't I do more' these thoughts raged around Harry's mind, it wasn't until the sun's light began to ray upon their bodies that Harry realized how much time had passed, he managed to stand, as he did, he silently picked up Sam's body and carefully laid it in his arms, even looking down at him, he could feel tears threatening to fall down. With one last large breath, Harry focused on where he wanted to go, and jumped to Camp Halfblood, Sam would be buried among the Trees, and his fellow Satyrs

...

Camp HalfBlood

"I don't know Chiron, I woke up to this note and he was gone", Annabeth explained, after waking up she felt odd, as though something had happened, as she twisted in her bed she noticed the note Harry had left her, once she had read it she ran to Harry's room, only to find it unlocked, as she opened the door to look inside, she could see it was gone, she quickly ran to the dining hall, most of the other demigods were up and awake.

After running up to Chiron she explained the note Harry had left her and that he wasn't in his bed, Chiron gently took the note from her and began to read it.

'Annabeth,

Got a Bad feeling about Sam's trip, won't be gone long

Harry'

After reading the short note, Chiron called out, "Clarissa, Luke, Ellen, and Dean, come with us"

The demigods were quick to join him and Annabeth as they made their way to the gate, "It seems Harry had disobeyed my instructions and has left to find Sam, did he mention anything to any of you about his concern, or where he thought sam was"

As the others began to think, a loud boom was heard, it sounded like a loud thunderstrike, as the others all looked at each other, it was Chiron who stopped walking. As the others stopped to look at him, they noticed where he was looking, as they turned to look, they all froze at what they saw, it was Haraldir, but he was not alone, they all watched in stunned silence as Haraldir walked past the barrier, carrying a body in his arms.

As he got closer they could see the state he was in, he was covered in blood and ash, and he had large cuts and bruises across his face and his torso, but it was who he was carrying that brought them to tears, as Sam was led in his arms, his body covered in blood, yet he had a serene smile on his face.

As Harry approached them he finally stopped just in front of Chiron, as he looked up and his gaze reached theirs, they all took a step back, even Chiron, who had lived on this earth for thousands of years, and seen true horror. Haraldir's gaze was murderous, his eyes glowed bright blue with power and restrained fury.

Haraldir's gaze never left Chiron, "I warned you", it was all he said, when he finished, he simply walked past them and made his way to the Ancient woods where Sam would be with the Nyads and his family.

...

Sam's Funeral had only just finished, and yet to Harry, he still felt just as Hollow, the rage and anguish had left him now, now all he could feel was an Emptiness, As Harry stood and watched as Sam's body was burnt on the pyre, he began to gaze to the other campers, he wondered out of the many of them who would be next. Finally, he looked to Chiron and Dyonisis, they stood side by side in silent vigil. As he looked at them all he could feel was burning anger, they had not believed him, and now, Sam had died.

As Harry looked at them, Dyonisis and Chiron turned their heads and looked at him, as though they could sense he was looking at them, he simply stared at them, he didn't say a word, he didn't need words, they could tell from the look on his face what he was feeling. They both knew from now on he would no longer care for their words or their orders.

Seeing this, Chiron cantered over to him, Harry didn't say a word, but his gaze never left Chiron, his face was set in stone but his eyes showed what he was feeling, Anger and Betrayal. As Chiron stood next to him, all he could do was softly say, "At least he was able to be out to rest here, I'm sorry Harry"

Harry didn't respond, but as he looked away from Chiron and to the funeral Pyre he simply said, "Haraldir, my name is Haraldir"
