"Phew!" Amber stood, looking over one of the many cliffs with her hands on her hips and a proud grin on her lips. Today had been exciting!

"That's three camps taken care of, one puppy reunited, and a bunch of pyro slimes snuffed out away from the villages. Wow! I did a lot today, huh, grandpa?"

Amber did a lot everyday. It wasn't often, or at all, that she was caught slacking. She always made sure to get eight hours of sleep. No more, no less, much to the dismay of suitors her age.

Lisa had always made her blush at her comments. The witch always stated that if she was Amber's age, she'd make all those boys run around in circles for her all day and night.

Often, Amber blushed and slid down into her seat while Jean did the same. Lisa always knew what to say to make anyone blush and Amber was always quick to claim she was completely faithful to Jean and the Knights.

"Oh, you're just as bad as Jean, darling! The only time I get to spend time with her is after work. You should think about spending time with those your age outside of work too, sweetie." Lisa would end with a flourished wink.

The only time Amber didn't hear Lisa make comments directed to her was in Kaeya's presence. As much as she and Kaeya clashed, she was always safe in his presence from any flirtatious comments or eyes. Something she hadn't realized until now, actually.

The outrider truly did find peace and clarity at the most highest points. She smiled, staring at Mondstat with a complete and overwhelming feeling of pride. "Thank the archons for Jean, Kaeya, Lisa and everyone else." She whispered. She didn't know what she'd do without them. Amber was constantly living her dream and striving to be the best outrider ever! All thanks to her friends.

She squinted towards the sun, within a couple hours, day would turn to night and she would make her official report to Jean. Hopefully, bringing some sort of relief to the woman she looked up to.

With a giggle, the girl pulled down her goggles over her eyes and took a leap of faith, falling only for a moment before flying, gliding for her fulfillment and for Mondstat.

Prying eyes watched from under the sheer cliff side. The man in complete awe of the girl's reckless behavior. Here he was, thinking he finally had some luck stumbling upon someone who was gonna jump to their death. Bodies really were the easiest pickings for a failure of a treasure hoarder, after all.

But, no. The stupid girl had sprouted wings and flown.

Inconsiderate bitch.

The man grumbled, scratching at his chin and attempting to glare holes in the wind glider.

He was a tall and scrawny treasure hoarder who had no treasure! It was an absolute pain and witnessing the young woman drift above him filled him with rage. Damn her! He huffed, clenching his fists. Did she think she was better than him!? Flying so free like that? It sickened him. He was red to crush her, destroy her, show her that a title meant shit when he was the one holding her down. He'd make her beg, prove that visions and stupid childish behaviors were punishable by strong men like him!

A thought suddenly occurred to him. Surely, a knight of favonious had some goods on her! Besides, it wasn't like he wasn't above selling the girl either. He was sure a lot of people would be willing to get a limber punk like that, especially since she was a knight! He damn sure would love to get his hands on her. Hell, maybe he'd rape her first then sell her and everything else this dumb whore had.

The only issue was getting to her.

It'll be easy to propose the plan to his other hoarding friends, but why share the goods? No… He'd do this himself. He'd have her himself and then sell her, if she was still salvageable when he was done.

The wicked smirk across his face radiated evil, just as his fists crackled with purple lightening.

His eyes never left Amber, watching as she landed, disappearing out of view. He had the perfect plan for the outrider.

She was a knight, wasn't she? A young one at that too. Surely, she wouldn't say no to helping an innocent denizen in need.
