A/N: Hey hey! I started this a while ago, like December, and figured I'd try and finish it up to post this week. I hope you enjoy!

When Jay woke on his wedding night, he didn't expect to be alone in bed, but he was. He would have been worried had he not then felt cool fingers trailing down his back a second later. Turning his head to the right, there stood Hailey next to him fully naked in the moonlight.

"Sorry," she breathed.

"For what?" His voice was thick with sleep as he slowly sat up. Swinging his legs off the mattress, he grabbed her waist and tugged her closer to him.

"I scratched you pretty good," she explained and brushed the backs of her fingers along his jaw.

"I really don't mind," Jay said with a smile, "I don't mind anything that happened tonight."

Hailey hummed and held her left hand out so they could both look at her new, black ring. "I don't mind it either," she said.

Jay's smile widened. He rubbed his hand along the side of her thigh and whispered, "I especially don't mind this view right now."

She laughed softly and said, "I just wanted some water."

"Actually, I could use a drink too," Jay said as he stood up. He bent down for his boxers, but Hailey grabbed his arm.

"Leave them off," she said.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah."

Jay licked his bottom lip as he straightened up before letting her lead the way to the kitchen. She busied herself getting the glass and filling it with water, and he loved every second of it. He loved that the one piece of clothing, if you could even count it as that, was a ring that hebought and then placed on her finger while declaring that he wanted her as his wife.

His wife.

He was married to Hailey Upton and he'd never get tired of saying it.

"Okay, cold glass of water for my husband."

Jay smiled. Hailey liked saying it just as much as he did.

"Thanks, wife."

Hailey laughed and kissed his cheek. As he drank the water, she stayed in contact with him with her hand slowly dragging along his back and teasing the edge of his hairline. She lightly trailed a line of kisses along the side of his bicep until he finished and looked down at her.

"Yes?"

Hailey smiled against his skin and breathed, "I love you."

"I love you too." Jay set the glass down before picking her up and placing her on the counter right next to it.

"Counter's cold," she whispered.

Jay hummed and placed his hands on either side of her thighs. Leaning forward, he kissed her and replied, "Need help warming up?"

Hailey laughed into the kiss and rested her arms over his shoulders. "I could be persuaded," she said.

"Ah," Jay hummed before lightly pulling her hair back to expose her throat.

"Jay," she moaned as he lightly traced her vein with his tongue until he landed on her collarbone. His teeth scraped her skin and her hand made its way back into his hair. She gripped onto him and slowly slid forward on the counter to press herself against him.

He wrapped her legs around his waist before gripping her thighs and carrying her to bed. "My wife," he breathed as he laid her on the bed and straddled her hips.

She laughed softly and placed her left hand on his cheek when she said, "My husband."

Jay smiled and grabbed her wrist so he could trail kisses from her palm to the ring on her finger.

Hailey watched as his lips pressed against the black ring. Smiling up at him, she softly asked, "Is this real?"

"Very real," Jay easily replied and bent down to kiss her once more. Slipping his own left hand down her side, he breathed, "You and me till the end, okay?"

Hailey hummed and nodded. "I choose to join my life with yours," she said, a smile teasing her lips.

"Chose it earlier," Jay said, "And I'll choose it every day forward. I'll always choose you."

"You're amazing," Hailey whispered and placed her hands on the sides of his face. She breathed in slowly and rubbed her thumbs along his jaw.

Jay shook his head, but still leaned down to kiss her.

"Hey, you are," Hailey said once she pulled away from his lips, "You are. I know the past week has been hard, but it's over. I don't think any less of you. You…you saved me, and I can never repay you."

Jay's eyes studied hers for a moment before he shook his head again.

"Jay-"

"You can repay me."

Hailey raised an eyebrow and pushed up on her elbows. "What?" she asked.

"You can repay me," Jay repeated, "You can build this life with me and be my wife." He paused to laugh to himself before continuing to say, "You can laugh at videos of babies and puppies. You can cook big, delicious meals every Sunday. You can do yoga on the balcony. You can teach me Greek. You can eat all the chocolate in the world. You can be yourself." He wiped his thumb under her eye to catch the few fallen tears then whispered, "You do that, and what I did will be worth it. Okay?"

Hailey blinked her eyes quickly and nodded.

"I love you," Jay said softly as he leaned down to kiss her. His lips lingered for a moment before trailing down to her ear. "I love you," he whispered.

Hailey let out a few more silent tears as she smoothed her hands over his shoulders and down his back. "I love you too," she softly choked out.

Jay hummed and began kissing under her ear while slipping his hands along her thighs. "I've got you," he breathed, "And you're all I need."

Hailey closed her eyes as she held onto him tightly. This time, her nails weren't digging into his back and they weren't fighting against clothing. They were just them.

If Hailey thought hard enough, she could remember their first night together and how it had been everything she needed. There hadn't been any awkwardness or hesitation, they could just sink into the feeling of each other.

Right now felt like that.

Jay's hands were guiding her legs around him, and her own were holding onto him with everything she had. She could feel his breath against her ear with every movement he made. It was slower than earlier and didn't feel as rushed, but it was everything she needed right now.

"You're my wife," he again whispered, "You, Hailey, are my wife, and you are a-all I want."

She moaned quietly and arched her back against him. With her fingers slipping through his hair, she guided his eyes to meet her gaze and whispered back, "I love you."

Jay hummed a soft moan as he met her lips and wrapped an arm under her back.

She relaxed in his hold and continued stroking her hands over him as he pulled away. She fought her eyes to stay open in his gaze despite how each brush of his fingers over her body made them want to fall close. Breathing him in on the bed they shared within the apartment they bought together, she knew she would be able to repay him.

She could be herself in this relationship because she felt safe to do so. Jay was her husband, and they really could get through anything that came their way.

A/N: Was it ok? If you saw my note on CWP, you know that I won't be posting a oneshot for a couple weeks, but I'm very excited about what I have ready for when I return! Talk later!
