Chapter 1:
"And Gryffindor Wins!" Screamed Lee into the microphone.
Screams filled the air, along with confetti and ribbons, the euphoric Gryffindors rushed to meet the team. Harry landed on the quidditch pitch and his friends closed in on him.
"Good Job Harry!" Ginny leaped at him, hugging him. She backed up a little bit and then Ron and Hermione were right there with them. Everyone on the field and in the stands cheered them on except the Slytherins. Harry's mood raised as he listened to the cheering and felt the snitch still fluttering in his hand. Harry's smile widened as he saw Malfoy walking towards the stands hunched over along with his other teammates.
The game had been rough and for a second Harry had doubted them winning. The Slytherins had stepped up their game while the Gryffindors struggled to even keep the ball away from the snakes. Luckily Harry caught the snitch or else things wouldn't have turned out pretty.
By now the Gryffindors, Hufflepuffs, and Ravenclaws were all squished together on the field. "Party in Gryffindor Common Room," screamed Fred and George.
Harry and Ginny glance over at each other. Their hands found each other. "This was going to be a night to remember." He thought. Harry couldn't be further from the truth.
The party was in full swing when Harry came back to the common room. It'd been three hours since the match and Fred and George were just getting started. They were setting off explosives. Harry looked around and headed towards the fiery redheaded girl sitting in the corner.
Ginny and Hermione were talking, when Harry approached her she stood up and met him in the middle.
"Follow me," Ginny whispered, her hot breath tickling Harry's ear, sending shivers through his body. Ginny grabbed his hand leading him outside the common room. Ginny flashed Harry a wicked smile which whisked his breath away.
"Shouldn't it be me who pulls you out of the common room at night?" Harry murmured, distracted with other thoughts plaguing his mind.
"Well maybe if you would act more like a Gryffindor," Ginny smirked.
She led Harry down a deserted corridor and pulled him into a little storage cupboard. Realizing this was the first time he'd been alone with her, his heart sped up. Harry noticed she was wearing a tight little black dress that showed a lot of her legs. He pulled Ginny close and tucked a piece of her smooth locks behind her ear, gazing into her eyes.
"You're beautiful," Harry told her.
Ginny's face glowed at his comment and Harry squashed down the nervousness that wanted to rear up
He leaned closer and lightly kissed her on the cheek. Impatient, Ginny grabbed his face bringing their lips together. Harry put his palm to her back bringing them as close as possible. The warmth of her sent fire down and across his body. Breaking the kiss Ginny looked up, making eye contact with Harry and smiled before going back in for a kiss.
Adrenaline coursed through him and he held her tightly. Her hands on his body. Her lips. Her chest pressed against his. She was all he could think about.
A white-hot searing pain scorched through his scar.
Harry stumbled back from Ginny clutching his head. Feeling around with his hands he found the doorknob, twisted it, and went tumbling onto the stone floor.
"Harry!" Ginny ran over to Harry who was writhing uncontrollably with blood leaking down from his face.
As the pain intensified Harry started screaming, and then he went limp. His body couldn't handle the pain any longer.
SNAPE:
Snape glided towards the Gryffindor tower to speak to Minerva. "Fools, Idiots, Imbeciles!" He muttered to himself.
A noise drew his attention, and he quickly searched out the sound. "Kids out of bed, just what I need. Another Gryffindor trying to do who knows what. Where's Filch when I need him?!"
As he approached the closed door, Snape groaned inwardly, "they better not be doing what I think they are doing."
As Severus with his trademark sneer in place neared the door when it flew open wide almost getting the professor and a boy stumbled outside. The boy landed in a heap, clutching his head and groaning in pain.
"Harry," Screamed a shrill voice.
"Of course it was Potter." Snape pushed his inner thoughts away to help the insufferable brat. As the professor reached him, Harry's head thudded against the ground.
Severus peered down at Potter and touched his forehead which burned his hand and pain shot through his dark mark. He quickly yanked his hand away from Potter and tightened his occlumency shields.
"Get Professor McGonagall to meet us in the hospital wing." Snape sneered.
Ginny finally looked up and realized who had found them. Her cheeks flooded with color as she ran off, in her wrinkled dress, to fetch McGonagall. Within a second Harry was floating up on the stretcher and hurried to the hospital wing.
