'She will tire eventually, it's only a matter of time.' Bakugo thought to himself. Since she took his sweat he figured he could use it against her and blow her sky high.
Turned out she had been prepared for that. According to her she could also change how the sweat was coded. 'Which should mean, she could change it back to mine.' He smirked thinking of the possibilities. 'It wouldn't be cheating if we worked as a team right?'
It would still be overpowered as hell though. And he relished the thought of all the villains he could stop. Hopefully pausing their attempts forever.
He stowed that thought as she landed a hit on his shoulder. He tried to see if his quirk worked at all, but so far the only thing happening was a light sizzling noise.
'It won't do much.' He ran towards her and pressed against the armor she made. Erity scoffed seeing his hands smoke. He eyed her grinning like a maniac. "It's only a matter of time."
He was getting awfully tired of running around though. He saw the pole with the white flag on it. He decided to use it as a weapon. He broke off the white flag. "Now that I have a weapon it'll just make it easier to beat you."
He stood there waiting, and when she charged at him he grinned, using the pole to propel himself into the air behind her. He whacked her with the pole, hearing and seeing the armor crack.
The fight went on so long that most of the others became disinterested. In fact Shinra, Aikka, Fai, Kurogane and Akutagawa were the only ones who hadn't left or were even paying attention.
"Wake me when this is over." Molly said. Using her jackets as a pillow and lying down at the boys' feet. "Great now I'm cold."
"Apologies, but I don't have my tunic otherwise I'd offer it to you." Aikka commented sadly.
"Uh." Shinra itched his scalp nervously. "Here, take mine." Shinra dropped his coat over her.
"How much does this thing weigh?" Molly whined.
"Sorry, here. Give it back to me." He went to grab it.
"No." Molly tugged his jacket out of his hand. "It's mine now." She then used it as a body pillow. And stuck her tongue out at him.
"Okay well now I'm cold too. So give it back." They started to play tug of war when something black and red came across their vision startling them. It grabbed the jacket and forced the two of them to cuddle together inside of it. Speechless they watched as it darted away into Akutagawa's backside. He gazed over at them.
They'd be dead now if looks could kill.
"Okay, well I guess we're sharing." Shinra commented.
"Just don't get any ideas." Molly told him. Elbowing him in the ribs. Shinra chuckled.
Jordan watched that part play itself out as well. Seeing the Prince all hot and bothered like that put a smile on his face.
And yet. It also stung him too. He jumped, sacrificing himself to stay. All because he loved her.
'I still do. But I'm basically immortal. And if you think about it, Aikka's way older than the both of us combined. Yet he still looks the same.'
Shinra was the only one that would grow old at the same place.
This was all starting to give him a headache.
"Stun Grenade!" All those who had become disinterested turned their heads to watch when the darkness became suddenly engulfed in light. Though they also had to shield their eyes.
Bakugo used that to get closer. He gasped when the feeling of skin on skin touched his arms. Grabbing him and yanking him backwards into the ground.
He had been tossed into her pit of slime. Which hardened in an instant all around him.
'Dammit I can't move.'
The pole he had used before was suddenly against his neck. He gazed up at the less than cheerful face of his opponent.
He gave out an angry cry to try and gain any amount of strength. Hoping against hope that that would be what he needed in order for his quirk to come back to him.
It didn't. He used his palms to see if he could sizzle away at his prison. The moment he did Erity sealed up everything but his head.
Jordan appeared beside them. "So what's the verdict? Surely your not idiotic enough to try and waste all your energy at getting out of here."
"Leave me alone." His broken voice said.
"If this was a real fight you'd be six feet under pushing up daisies." Jordan commented. "I'm giving everyone a couple days to rest. That blue orb
over there will bring you to food and a bed." He disappeared.
"Why are you still here?" Bakugo asked Erity. "It's obvious that you won, and I…lost."
Erity sighed, tossing away the pole. "I figured it would be better if you admitted the defeat yourself, instead of someone else deciding for you."
"So you're just going to leave me in here?"
Erity paused and looked behind her. "I can soften it if you want, but having me help you would probably only piss you off more." She waited. "Besides that, you got your quirk back so you could always-"
There came a crackling sound followed by light and explosions.
"...Just blow it up." She sighed again. She had succeeded in winning against her hero. She should feel happy and elated. 'But I'm not.' In fact for some reason she felt very sad, and maybe a little bit depressed. 'No. Push past this. You can do it.' She urged herself. 'Don't you dare go down that road again.' While walking she unconciously rubbed her sliced up arm. 'You can't. You've made it this far and met the man of your dreams.' She kept talking to herself internally. 'Yeah, but so far he hasn't acknowledged me once. Every time I try I just push him further and further away.'
Erity walked in to see that there was a huge table with a huge assortment of plates. Everyone was standing there eating. Acting as if they hadn't eaten in days. And although the Asylum didn't give her the nourishment her body needed. She wasn't hungry right now.
She went into the first room she found laid down and went to sleep.
