The mood around here was steadily declining. Jordan could tell that everyone was missing home. Call him greedy but, he didn't exactly want them to leave yet.
But he figured it was time for some music to go along with all this food he had created and prepared outdoors.
He gazed up at the sky sensing an oncoming visit of some kind. It wasn't threatening, but it would be here soon.
As to the why part he was clueless.
He had told Fai to be the one to wake everyone and get them out here. He sensed someone behind him and turned to see Cyper.
"I accept your offer on one condition." She said. "To let my brother Cyperous stay behind as well."
"Deal." Jordan breathed a sigh of relief. Well at least he wouldn't be lonely anymore. "Now if you could. I'd like you to help me out with a few things."
Soon the grassy field was covered with tables. The closest one near the dining chairs was obviously food.
In the middle was the dance floor. Okay okay it was just a huge sturdy piece of wood where the music was coming from. But it worked.
Might have gone overboard with the board games. Plus other assortments of things. He couldn't stop the blue blobs that he saved from the previous Oban from being in the way though.
They were still cute.
One by one they finally came out. Most of them headed towards the food.
"I see a game of chess over there, anyone want to play with me once we're done eating?" Ed asked.
"You know what? Sure I could play a few games of chess."
"What's chess?" Koga and Sesshomaru both asked.
"Oh Lord." Kagome facepalmed.
"Are you being serious?"
"Um." Kagome muttered. "These two came from feudal Japan. They have no idea what a car, a TV, a cell phone or even what a gun looks like. Basically everything is stick and wood houses."
"Don't forget about caves." Koga chimed in.
"I slept in my father's remains." Sesshomaru said. Everyone spat out their food.
"Uh you guys remember when he transformed right?"
"Uh…yeah." Ed said nervously.
"His father's body was twice that size."
"And here I was thinking he was wearing a skinsuit of the guy." Zak started laughing.
"Well…I've lost my appetite." Ed said tossing his food back on the plate. Which only made Zak laugh harder.
"Master Jakken can you pass the salt?"
"Uh, yeah sure. Here Rin."
"That's an interesting looking cloud formation."
"Uh Kurgs."
"That ain't no cloud." He said when he looked at what Fai had been pointing at.
The 'Cloud' came down like a teardrop and dissipated. Two people appeared, well two people and a white bunny furby looking creature.
"Mokona!"
"Oh wow we actually found them!" The girl said.
Fai stopped, gazing at Erity. "Hey Sakura, would you mind taking Erity here and helping her out? I think it's time we gave our new friend a better change of clothes." Erity gazed at him shocked. "I'm sure you're tired of wearing them."
"Come on, let's go." Sakura wanted no time in pulling Erity along.
"Hey kid you hungry?" Kurogane asked.
"Famished actually." Saoyoran said.
Akutagawa sighed. "What kind of stupidity are we dealing with now?"
"Basically we all came together to go looking for Sakura's feathers-"
"No wizard. You wanted to keep running away from your past, I was sent because I wouldn't stop killing for power. As far as the kid and the girl are concerned…"
"We all made a deal with a witch. Something happened to Sakura causing all her memories to turn into feathers. And they got scattered across dimensions."
"I gave up my tattoo. Kuropoo-"
"Enough with the nicknames wizard."
""Had to leave behind his sword."
"And the boy?"
"Every memory she has of him will always be erased. You see they grew up together. Made a lot of happy moments. So every time she gets a memory it won't have him in it. One time we actually witnessed first hand her confronting Sayoaran about it and in the middle of the conversation she stops talking, falls over and then apologizes because she had forgotten what she wanted to talk to him about."
"You must love her very much then, to go through all that." Kagome said with tears in her eyes.
"I was so close to telling her how I really felt. But she was a Princess, and I was…"
"A nobody?" Molly asked.
"Yeah."
"Well, you were obviously something to Sakura. Despite all those doubts in your head. There had to have been mutual feelings on her side too. Otherwise I highly doubt her sudden need of cornering you was just out of friendship."
"For once Fai. You have a point."
