(Later that night, Dan and Vanessa have champagne in the loft)
Dan: "I'm so tired, but I don't want this night to end."
Vanessa: "This is what success feels like. I always knew you could do it Dan."
Dan: "Look at us. I'm a published author, your making documentaries, Jenny is about to debut her fashion line. The nobodies from Brooklyn did alright for themselves."
Vanessa: "Victory belongs to Brooklyn."
(They clink glasses. Vanessa suddenly leans over and kisses Dan)
Dan: "Vanessa, what are you doing?" (Surprised)
Vanessa: "I'm sorry. I just…I want to thank you for everything and congratulate you on your success and…I love you Dan. I always have, I probably always will."
(Dan kisses her back and they make love)
