(After talking it over with Eric, Serena begins to volunteer with Eric at the Ostroff Center and becomes close to this young girl named Kara Whalen who is admitted for suicide and depression after her so called friends use social media to taunt and tease her. About ten different social media gossip sites had replaced Gossip Girl since Dan shut it down. Serena then knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to start an organization to stop cyber- bullying and to help girls with self-esteem issues. Serena calls her organization Take Back the Power)

My name is Serena Van Der Woodsen and I am no stranger to attention, public or social media wise. I have seen the effects that social media has on teenagers and it is destroying their self-esteem and self-worth. I want to personally dedicate my time and money to put an end to cyber- bullying. (Serena holds a fundraiser to raise money for the organization, rising 1,000,000 dollars)
Lily: "This is so inspired. You're becoming an amazing young woman." (On the verge of tears)
Serena: "Oh mom…"
Lily: "It's just…I know how hard you worked to change and I know you have just been trying to find yourself and I didn't always believe in you… I want to say that I'm so sorry and I'm very proud of you Serena."
Serena: "Thank you mom." (Hugging her)
Rufus: "I'm proud of you too."
Dan: "We all are."
Jenny: "Thanks for letting us come."
(Finally breaking the ice between them)
Vanessa: "If you would let me, I would love to do a documentary on the whole thing. Maybe help you get more exposure."
Serena: "That would be great Vanessa, thanks."
Chuck: "If you need a financial backer, I'm your guy."
Serena: "Thank you Chuck."
Chuck: "No problem sis."
Blair: "Congrats S. Call me tomorrow, we'll have lunch. We have dominations plans to discuss." (Kissing her on the cheek)
Serena: "Absolutely."
(By the end of the night only Serena and Nate are left in the hall)
Serena: "Hey, what are you still doing here?"
Nate: "Waiting for you." (With a bouquet of flowers)
Serena: "Oh Nate, that's so sweet. I can't believe I actually did it!"
Nate: "Are you really surprised? You're Serena Van der Woodsen. People flock to you."
Serena: "It's never been for the right reasons before. I did this… on my own and I got the results I wanted. I feel like I'm finally changing…for the better…"
Nate: "We've all made mistakes Serena, that doesn't make you a bad person."
Serena: "I know. I just worked so hard to change and I felt like people never took me seriously. Because of my name, my reputation, Page Six, or Gossip Girl. I got tired of being everyone's joke."
Nate: "What are you talking about? You were never anybody's joke."
Serena: "No I was. It just makes you realize how hard reputation is to get back after you've lost it."
Nate: "My dad knows all about that. I saw that you invited Gossip Girl…"(Laughing)
Serena: "I figured it was time to bury the hatchet. Dan and Jenny are my family, Vanessa and I were friends…"
Nate: "I knew in time things would work itself out."
Serena: "You are too good Nate Archibald."
Nate: "I try. Come on, let's get out here." (Offering her his arm)
