(The day of Blair and Chuck's Wedding arrives. Chuck and Blair wear costume made garments by Eleanor. Serena is maid of honor and Nate is the best man)

(Surrounded by friends and love, Serena rethinks her relationships. Besides Dan, the best relationship Serena had was with Nate and the only reason they broke up was because of her connection to Dan.)

(By the end of the night, Serena and Nate end up alone at the bar)

Serena: "Blair and Chuck are officially married…"

Nate: "Mr. and Mrs. Bass… Together forever."

Serena: "Do you ever think about who'll marry?"

Nate: "Sometimes…think about how many wedding and divorce parties we've been through."

(The two continue to talk and indulge in some drinking)

Serena: "Do you think it's true…what Dan wrote in the blast about the Upper East Side? That it only destroys those brave enough to face it and harden those that are stuck in it?"

Nate: "You have not been hardened Serena. You are so light and beautiful that…"

Serena: "That what?"

(Nate kisses her and they begin to make out at the bar)

Serena: "Nate, wait, stop. We can't do this."

Nate: "You're right, we shouldn't."

Serena: "No, I don't mean what we're doing. I mean where we're doing it. There are rooms upstairs…"

Nate: "I thought you had a thing for bar tops at weddings?" (Laughing)

(Serena laughs and kisses him again. The two get a room in the hotel and make love)
