[R.I Landship Dormitory, 12:40 p.m]
"Hey, Ross!" Derick called him out.
Ross, who is sleeping on a couch groaned as he slowly removed the magazine off of his face.
"What, man..?" He responded in a sleepy tone.
"Captain Lynn is looking for you." Derick replied.
Ross raised an eyebrow before he roses up from the couch, stretching his arms a bit. He yawned as he exited the dormitories. By the time he exited, he's greeted by Lynn herself, waiting for him as she leans herself against the wall with her arms crossed under her chest.
"How's your sleep, kitten?" She greeted him with a smile.
"Captain..." Ross rubbed his eyes with the back of his hand.
"What's up..?" He replies sheepishly.
"Aww, you poor little thing." She giggles, she reached out her hand to him and ruffles his hair between his animalistic ears.
"Hey... knock it off.. my hair's gonna get messy..." He shoved her hand away softly.
"Ahaha.. sorry sorry. Can't help it." Lynn broke off the ruffling.
"Then, what's the matter, Captain...?"
"The thing you found back at the safe house. Do you still have it?" Lynn asked.
Ross put a puzzled expression before she realized what she meant. "Owh... that! Yeah, it's still on me."
"Good. Now come with for a bit. We're going to Kal'tsit's." She motioned him to follow her.
"For what, Captain?"
"She might know something about the thing we found."

They made their way to the elevator, the metal door slides open and they both entered the elevator, and so Lynn pressed the button that leads to the lower level.
He and his captain stood next to eachother as the metal door began to slide close. Relaxing music plays as it starts heading downwards.
Ross stares at Lynn for awhile, her white silky hair along with the halo above her head that illuminates the dimly lit space. Her magenta colored eyes stares towards the metal door that mirrors her reflection.
"She's quite beautiful when looked up close..." Ross said in his mind, but something different about her today is her scent. She used to have lavender like scent, but this time she has this sun-like scent.
"Gregory?!"
Lynn avert her gaze towards him, caught him staring at her.
"What's the matter? Is there something on my face?" She asked.
Ross noticed this and immediately pulls his face back and avert his gaze elsewhere. "Eh? N-No, it's nothing." A tint of red could be seen crawling to his cheeks. She can only smile at his reaction.
"Alright, Alright." She responded.
The elevator dinged as it stops and the metal door slides open, reveals a long plain corridor with metal carpeting. At the very end of it, there's a double metal door that leads to some sort of lab.
They stepped out from the elevator and head straight for lab. They stopped at the entrance.
"Wait here, Alright?"
"OK."
Lynn heads in to the lab first as she gesture him to wait outside. In there, she met with the green haired lynx, sitting behind the desk as she still onto the report paper in her hand. She avert her gaze from the paper and met with Lynn's.
"Where's the boy?" Kal'tsit asked.
"He's outside." Lynn confirmed.
"Bring him in."
Lynn simply nodded. "You can come in now." She calls out.
The tall feline hesitated for a bit as he reached his hand towards the door handle. He turn the handle and push it a bit as he enters.
He took a seat, just across Kal'tsit's as Lynn waits besides him, standing as she put her both hands behind her back.
"First, I want to confirm something." Kal'tsit begins.
"Yes?" Ross respond.
"Where did you find that little boy?" Kal'tsit asked, she refers to what they found on the previous mission.
Ross told everything to Kal'tsit on what he has found on that mission, everything that goes into details.
"I see." Kal'tsit closed her eyes in confirmation.
"Very unfortunate turn of events... we have 3 deaths and 11 missing personnels. Unfortunately, we do not have any leads to conduct this into an investigation." She added.
"Actually we do have a little lead..." Lynn interrupts.
"And what could that be?" Kal'tsit avert her gaze towards Lynn.
She glances towards Ross, motioned him to take out some information that he found. Ross digs his hand towards his jacket pocket, and he took a piece of a tooth, a sharp one at that, almost a size of a middle finger, atleast that's what he presumed. He put it on her table.
"Is this..?"
"It's... a tooth?" Ross shrugged.
"I know it's a tooth. But why bring it to me?" Kal'tsit raised an eyebrow.
"Because you're a researcher and all other stuff... maybe you could uhh... you know.. identify who's this tooth belongs to..?" He meekly answers, followed by an awkwardly chuckle.
Kal'tsit give him a deadpan look, while Lynn massage the bridge of her nose as she sway her head softly.
Kal'tsit let out a sigh before putting the paper down.
"From what I know, this tooth can be belong to any tuskbeasts.." Kal'tsit responded.
"But, Madam Kal'tsit. Tuskbeast doesn't attack people in this scale." Lynn retorts.
"Just an assumption. But there are far more dangerous tuskbeast that can possible." Kal'tsit said.
"... and I'll find a way or two if this matched with something." She added.
"Thank you very much, Miss Kal'tsit!" Lynn exclaimed.
"Don't thank me yet. I haven't started my research." Kal'tsit kept her stoic face as she said.
"A-Ah, right.." Ross Lynn both sweatdropped.

Gregory is currently at the other dormitory, accompanying joffrey, who is reading a book in his small grasp, labeled Bridge to Terrabithia by Katherine Paterson. As they both sat on a sofa beside eachother.
Apparently, Lynn asked him to look out for joffrey while she headed to Kal'tsit's lab for reporting their on-field observation.
"You sure love reading, eh?" The Archosauria spoke, looking at the boy as he sways his tail side to side.
"Ah, Yes! I love reading books pretty much. I always wanted to read this one, I heard it's pretty good." Joffrey responded, giving him a smile.
"Glad you found yourself comfortable. You know, you can take the book with you if you want." Gregory said, while leaning back.
"R-Really? I can?" The boy looked at the Archosauria with his eyes sparkling in excitement.
"Just don't tell anyone that I gave it to you." Gregory put his index finger in front of his gator snout. Joffrey nods, agreeing with his request.
The door to the Dormitory suddenly slides open. Gregory turns his head to see who enters the dorm. It was Lynn.
"Lynn." He greeted her.
"Gregory." She responded him back.
"Welcome back, Miss Lynn." The boy greeted her as well.
"So, how'd it go?" He continues.
"She'll take a look at it. Atleast." She replied, walking towards the sofa as she stroke the boy's hair and sat beside Gregory with her legs crossed.
"Where's Ross?" Gregory asked.
"He's undergoing his daily check up."
"I see."
She avert her gaze from Gregory and towards joffrey, who's still reading the book in his hands. As he reads through the pages, his expression changed as he pulling down the corner of his lips a bit, his ears began to droopy. Lynn noticed this and began to ask the boy.
"What's the matter, boy?" She asked, leaning forward a bit.
"No... I just... I just missed my father.. and I hope he's okay." The boy said with a hint of sadness in his tone.
Lynn Gregory looked at eachother for a moment before she leans to the boy a bit.
"Don't worry, Joffrey. I'm sure your father will be fine. We'll find him. We promised, didn't we?" The Sankta assures the boy, throwing him an assuring smile.
"Yeah.. you did. Thank you.." The boy looked at her, put a soft smile to his face. Seems to be recovering.
"Atta boy." Lynn stroke the boy's hair once more as he squirms a bit. "H-Hey.. stop stroking my hair..." The boy protest, but he doesn't hate it either.
Gregory smiles at the sight of them, they're more like mother and son bonding.
"You know, you two make a good parent." A voiced boomed out of the blue.
Lynn Gregory flinched in unison as they look to their front to see Derick holding a bowl of popcorn while sitting on a chair.
"Derick..." Lynn let out a sigh.
"Dude... how long have you been sitting there?" Gregory wondered.
"About an hour." Derick replied.
"An hour?!" Gregory exclaimed.
"Ugh... Are you serious..?" Lynn gave him a deadpan look.
"You see... I have mastered the ability to sit so incredibly still that I became invisible to the eye." Derick said sarcastically.
"Derick.. atleast say something when you're here.." Lynn suggest.
"Sorry, just feeling like doing it." Derick leans back, grabbing a handful of popcorn and noms it whole as he crunches. "Ah by the way..." He digs his pants pocket and pulls out a sealed letter from it. "Letter. It says your name on it." He passed the letter to Gregory.
"For me?" Gregory broke off the seal, takes out the content if it and reads it. Lynn leans in, taking a peek of the letter. It's all written in Sargonian.
"Eh... what does it say? I can't understand Sargonian at all.." Lynn said, resting her elbow on his shoulder.
"..." Gregory move his eye from left to right as he read the content of the letter. After some time reading, he gasp a bit.
"What's the matter, Gregory?" Lynn inquired.
He closed the letter and gazes towards Lynn. "We might found another lead."
"You mean..."
Gregory nods in response.
"Uhm? What are you guys on about?" Derick couldn't understand a word they on about. The boy were already sitting on his lap, snatching some popcorn from the bowl he holds.

"Huuuh... that was the worse..." Ross muttered as he walks through the empty hallway. His left arm feeling numb because of the injection he took back at the lab. Once every six months, he had to take injections to reduce the Oripathy effects, but unfortunate for him, he's afraid of needles.
"Good thing i won't have to take another shot for awhile..." He's about to make a turn at the end of the hallway but he didn't see another person is also about to make a turn as they bumped into each other. Making both him and the other person stumble backwards.
"Kyaah!" The person yelped.
"Who the-" He looked to his front to see a female Elafia with long blonde hair and green eyes. She wears dark shirt with long sleeve and long-skirt, with both of her arms and chest area are covered on metal plates. Not to mention the antlers she has on her head.
"Ah, I uh... I'm sorry-"
"I-I-I'm sorry!" The elafia cut his word before bowing down and ran pass by him.
"Ah! Wait! You..." He turns around, attempting to call her back but she already ran off far away.
"Ah... there she goes..." Ross frowned.
"Speaking of which, I feel like I've met her before..." He thought, scratching his cheek.
"Yo, Ross!" A voice boomed from behind him. He turns around to see Derick, Gregory, and Lynn walking towards him.
"You guys... Didn't you wait for me?"
"Change of plans. We're going back to Sargon." Lynn announced.
"WHAT?!" Ross Derick exclaimed in unison.
