Setting Prompt: Fashion World
Shiho always had one foot in the world of science, the other in fashion. Ever since she was a young child, she stared at the magnificent outfits and wanted to wear them for herself, and even design them. However, she enjoyed chemistry too much to choose anything other than that as her future career, so fashion was a hobby of hers, never something she was fully invested in but loved all the same.
Then one day, she had a break in her chemistry work and went to a fashion show. Watching as the models walked down the runway, she heard the background music coming from a violin player sitting next to it. The beautiful memory drew Shiho's attention away from the runway briefly, as she stared at the man playing. Immediately, she recognized him. Kudo Shinichi, a famous detective who was rumored to solve over 1000 cases each year. An exaggeration, Shiho was sure, but still, he must have been impressive.
She caught his eye, and quickly looked back at the runway.
After the show was over and the designers and models disappeared backstage, Shinichi set down his violin and caught Shiho's eye once again. He had a look in it that made Shiho sigh and walk over. "What do you want?"
"I've heard about you," Shinichi said. "You're Miyano Shiho. You've made numerous discoveries in chemistry."
Shiho swallowed and nodded. "I believe I have."
"Kudo Shinichi," he offered. "I'm a detective, though I play violin part time."
Shiho smiled lightly. "Nice to meet you, Kudo-kun."
"Nice to meet you too, Miyano-san."
