My first poem for Song of the Sea. It's centered around Saoirse. I thought I'd try writing poems for the movie, incidentally, the first two lines were rattling in my mind and I just had to write it down. The poem is acrostic.

Here's to my first Song of the Sea poem. :)

Seal in the sea, girl on land

A girl living in two worlds

On the beach the seals sunbathe

In the shells a song sings

Roaring waves wash the shore

Selkie swims happily in the sea

Evening sun sets over the lighthouse

How was my first Song of the Sea poem? Short and sweet, right? ^_^
