Alone Again

Alone Again is the story of Wilbur Soot and his limbo. Wilbur at this point in time has lost all sense of what is real or not. Every time Wilbur saw someone that he knew on the same train as him, he would try to make conversation but just before he knew what to say, it was his friends stop and he was alone, again. But this time, maybe he wasn't.

8. Epilogue

Wilbur was never able to really move on from watching his friends leave him, one by one. He wasn't able to recover from watching the best thing in his life leave him. After that day, Wilbur always kept Sally's bow in the right pocket of his jacket, hoping that one day, he would see her again and be able to give her the bow back. As Wilbur was able to return back from his limbo, he tried to make light of everything. But that proved to be hard. He decided to apologize to his son, Fundy, for not being able to be there as a father figure. Fundy was hurt by this, and could not accept Wilbur's apology. He then jumped off of a high cliff, as Wilbur watched. Wilbur felt that same feeling when Sally left him. But this time he couldn't cry. He wasn't able to. That is how Wilbur was alone, again
