Anakin steered the ship far, far away from the planet on which Pleasure Island was located, and began steering it back to Planet Coruscant, their home planet.
Kara and Carmine did some medical proceeding on some of the donkeys.
"You'll be okay," said Kara. "We'll get you home. Somehow."
"But we're still donkeys." said a blue female donkey, whose name was Aja. She face-hoofed. "Why was I so stupid?! How could any of us be so stupid?! If my grandma recognizes me when she sees me, she's gonna kill me!"
"Hey, no bad talk. That's the thing about parents and grandparents or any other loving parental figures in our lives." Kara said, wrapping a blanket around the Pantoran turned a donkey. "It's true, a lot of mistakes were made, and you were lucky to be rescued this time. One you all get home, you'd better start turning your lives around."
"And what about the fact that we're still donkeys?" said one boy.
"We'll figure that out later. Carmine?"
"I can't find anything in my database about turning donkeys back into kids." said Carmine. "Maybe if we ask the Blue Fairy for help, she can turn them back."
"I don't think that's how it works." said Sapphire. "I'm no expert on spells, but from what I could see, it was performing so many acts of bad behavior that provoked the spell that turned the kids into donkeys. We could ask the fairy for help, but maybe the answer is that like Kara said, all the kids have to do is turn themselves around. Be better kids, better people, and maybe they change back into kids."
And Kara froze for a moment when she looked at Carmine.
"I think Sapphire may be on to something!" Kara said. "Carmine, look behind you."
Carmine looked at his rear and saw that his tail was no longer there.
"Hey! I don't have a tail anymore!" Carmine cheered.
According to Sapphire's hypothesis, Pleasure Island was solely based on wanting pleasure at no cost of hard work, and thus turning into a donkey was the price one paid for giving in to the seemingly endless pleasures. However, when a selfless act was performed for the sake of simply doing right rather than seeking pleasure or rewards, the spell was reversed. And this was proven when Kara went to see Anakin and saw...
"Anakin, your ears!" Kara said.
"I know, they're long." said Anakin.
"No! Look. They're back to normal."
Anakin felt his ears with one hand and was delighted to find that they were indeed human ears again.
"This is great!" Anakin said. "So, where on Coruscant should I direct the ship to?"
"Take us home, Anakin. We'll leave the return of these other kids to the police. Do you and Carmine have the coordinates to Pleasure Island in your memory banks?"
The twins checked and confirmed they had the coordinates.
"Perfect. Be sure to give those to the police once we get there." Kara said. "There's no telling if there are more like them somewhere."
Anakin soon landed the ship on the closest landing port to home, while Carmine contacted the local authorities and let them know to pick up the donkey kids.
"Anyone who can still speak, explain the truth and the whole truth to the police when you see them, okay?" Kara said before she and the twins took off with Sapphire.
Hopefully the kids would all make it home safely to their families, and just maybe they would find a way to turn them back into kids.
"Come on, kids." Sapphire said, flying alongside the Jinn children. "Your father must be worried sick about you by now."
