(Present Day)

"Gru, Gru...I think...I think it's...aaaaaaaaa!" Baymax screamed.

"Baymax my love, I am here for you, you can do this. WE can do this." Gru said, holding Baymax's arm with a soft but firm grip.

Baymax lay on the hospital bed, his vitals being monitored.

"His battery is at 26!" a doctor exclaimed.

"We have to rush him into surgery. Please stay here" a doctor said to Gru.

"No...I need him...I need Gru..." Baymax said, reaching out his arm towards Gru who was sat in the hospital waiting room.

Gru felt alone as he sat on the chair, nobody else around. It was 3am and nobody was there but him. The light above flickered he could only hope for the best in this situation. He crossed his long legs and held his head in his hands.

"I'm here Baymax. I'm here. We can do this." he said quietly to himself.

There was a screaming sound coming from the surgery room.

Gru leapt from his seat and his eyes grew wide and tears started to pour down his face and nose and the floor became wet with the liquids of his sadness. The emergency light flashed and footsteps were heard running from another end of the hospital to this one. There was an empty air with the faint smell of bleach from the recently mopped floor.

"Baymax..." Gru tried to say between his sobs, "Baymax...".

Everything started to spin, and then turned to darkness. He felt his knees weaken, and to the floor he fell.
