Welcome Back, last time, the world ended, not really, this time our group of heroes are gonna try and figure out what's going on. There will be exposition, anger and more.
Opening in Twilight's Castle, Glim, Saturn, Festivia, Twilight, Rarity, Eclipsa who was holding onto Meteora and Janna sat around a table. Spike leading the blonde girl and hispanic boy from the first chapter into the room, Janna played on her phone as clipsa fed Meteora a small candy bar.
"This is new" the boy said
"Something tells me I don't like you" Saturn said
"I don't even know you!" The boy said
"Sorry, I've just always wanted to say that." Saturn replied with a chuckle "Saturn" he reached his hand out
"Uhh, Marco" He replied, shaking Saturn's hand
"Ok, What's going on, Janna literally just said 'Go to the acorn princesses crystal palace, politics and that fun stuff." The girl asked
"The giant fucking vortex of swirling blood rain, yeah that's the politics and fun stuff" Saturn pointed
"And who are you?" Star asked, slightly taken aback by the juggalo monster's language
"I'm an Alternate Meteora" He said pointing to the baby "Married to an Alternate Starlight Glimmer" he then pointed to Glim "And the adopted father of Festivia" he finally pointed at Festivia "Time Travel, Magic, Alternate Timelines are things I practically eat for breakfast"
"Ok so the not liking me makes sense now" Marco said to himself as Meteora blew a raspberry
"Our dimension collapsed with yours after the merging of your dimensions, the destruction of magic and our Starlight casting a spell" Twilight explained
"So this is partially my fault" Star said
"Eclipsa told us about Mina, you did what you could to resolve everything as peacefully as possible" Twilight said
"If it was me, I woulda put a bullet through her fucking skull" Saturn said
"Skywynne's Clock NO!" Fest exclaimed
"Yeah, i'm with Fest on this one, What the Solarians did was incomprehensibly evil, but you killing Mina, wouldn't that make you just as bad as her" Glim asked
"Oh Jesus Christ Glim, this is the fucking catalyst you put me to, the slippery slope argument they use in Batman comics? What's next, are you gonna chastise me for wanting to blow the fucking Nazi's head off?" Saturn shouted before looking at Festivia who was shocked at her father's anger. "Ok, i'm sorry, I didn't mean to explode like that, Festy, I'm sorry kiddo"
"I think she should have been sniped by seal team six" Janna said, not looking up from her phone
"...Thank you" Saturn muttered, before sighing "I'm gonna need a minute, You guys can figure this out, you're some of the smartest minds that aren't Rick Sanchez" he walked off
"I understand where he's coming from" Fest replied "Mina tried to kill my dad for years, she kidnapped grandpa just to torment with him…That's…kind of why I was worried"
"Globgor is safe, i'm sure of it" Eclipsa replied "If there's one person who knows him, it's me."
"Mina killed him?" Star asked
"...Mina…Mina ate him and said this one was for Shastacan" Glim explained, Meteora crying as Eclipsa almost fainted as Star showed a look of disgust
"Your timeline is fucked up sister" Janna said nonchalantly
"Are you on fucking Snapchat right now?" Glim asked "You are, you're sending gifs of vampires"
"Janna, can you take this seriously?" Marco asked as Festivia comforted Meteora in a height chair
"Is there anything else we need to know about your timeline, Starlight?" Rarity asked
"Yeah, we had magic still" Glim replied "Even though Saturn was never a fan of using it"
"Oh and it wasn't a swirling vortex of blood rain" Fest said, everyone continuing to talk as the camera faded away to an oval office, a short white man with dyed slicked back black hair sat in an armchair, he was wearing a black suit and a tie with a fake spider ontop of the knot.
"Mister President?" an african american man in a military outfit said, he had gray hair and a matching gray beard.
"General Donaldson?" He replied
"You may want to see this" The general said "We haven't seen radioactivity like this since that incident in Oregon a few years back" he explained, the two walking into a war room with a giant table, on a screen behind them was multiple images of Ponies, Monsters, Mewmans and other cryptid creatures
"Sweet Cor- Christ" The president said, reaching in his pocket and pulling out a tin, popping a pouch of dark green shreds into his mouth
"Chewing Tobacco at this time?" The general asked
"It's Seaweed…could you zoom in on that image?" he asked, pointing to an Instagram post from an account 'JnnaBnna'
"This isn't NCIS, Mister President" The General Replied "...I printed out a photo" he handed the president a piece of paper which had a picture of Saturn, Glim, Festivia, Eclipsa & Meteora with a description 'Alien UN Bullshit (Part 1)'
"Oh my god" he said
"I know…aliens exist" The General exclaimed in shock
"What, no. contact this account as soon as possible, we're going to need to have this family over as soon as possible" he replied
"Ummm Yes sir President Shastacan" Donaldson said, saluting and walking away, The President smirking as the camera faded out
Fading back in, Eclipsa discussed her knowledge of black magic with Twilight as Festivia bothered Janna, or rather tried to
"You have Tiktok?" Fest asked
"No" Janna said texting
"You have Instagram?"
"Yeah, I just posted a picture of you guys"
"You did what?" Glim asked "You POSTED that?"
"Yeah, what's the big deal?" Janna asked "Star posts stuff all the time"
"Oh, I don't know, maybe the fact that humans are notoriously racist, no offense to you and Marco but Rosewell, the movie ALIENS is a horror movie" Glim said "The CIA, MIB, Torchwood, UNIT, FBI."
"I get it, but I have a VPN, they can't track my IP." Janna replied
"What are they talking about?" Rarity asked Star who shrugged, as Marco panicked
"Star, how many posts have you made on social media?" Marco asked
"...Atleast 10 thousand" She replied, Saturn walking back in the room with a soda in his hand
"Alright, i'm sorry about blowing up just then, I just, I'm sorry" Saturn sighed and sat down next to Glim "Babe. Can I see you for a second, alone"
"Of course" Glim said "Fest, we're gonna be right back" she explained, the two exiting the room and walking away to a hallway, not noticing Spike following them
"Ok, what's up?" Glim asked
"I don't trust ANY of this" He explained "a dimensional rift that merged the three powerhouse dimensions, i'm not buying it, i'm also not buying that magic just disappeared"
"Saturn, Star destroyed it to stop Mina" Glim said
"You know what could have stopped Mina" Saturn asked reaching in his pocket, pulling out a 9mm, Glim's eyes widening
"A nine millimeter" Saturn replied
"I thought you sold that!" Glim exclaimed
"I bought another one, I don't use magic, and now, there's no more magic, I know you've tried but I want you to prove it" Saturn dropped the gun "Can you Levitato that?"
"I haven't tried yet." Glim admitted before she struggled as a spark came out of her horn before dying out "Nothing"
"Ok, so that is true" Saturn said
"Ok, but can you sell the gun?" Glim asked
"...You're lucky I love you so much" Saturn replied "Alright, but I still don't trust anyone in this timeline, if Twilight tries anything…"
"She won't, we're all trying to figure this out, I know stuffs happened and you don't trust anyone, but I genuinely think that they're trying to figure everything out"
"Ok, I trust your Judgment" the two kissed as Spike snuck back to the room, Saturn picking up the gun and putting it in his pocket as they walked back to the room,
"Dad, do you have a gun?" Fest asked
"Oh Jesus Christ, which of you fuckwits was spying on us?" Saturn asked, scanning the room before seeing Janna
"Janna, no that's too obvious…Mom….no, too cliche, Spike?" The dragon began to sweat
"Ok, i'm trying not to be pissed off, i'm an angry dude but I have a reason, I presume my timeline has been destroyed and this is a ploy by Twilight to kill us all. It makes too much sense"
"Excuse me?" Twilight asked offended
"Dad, I really just think Aunt Twi is just trying to help." Fest said
"Festy, I'm sorry any of this happened, but I doubt that's your Godmare, that could be anything from a Zygon to Chyrsalis to Glossaryck to Discord, but I don't think that's Twilight" Saturn said "I don't want you to grow up in the same world that hated me, and I don't want anyone to hurt you, you and your mother mean the world to me, fuck the world, the multiverse" Saturn explained "I'm scared"
"But you aren't scared of anything" Fest said, tearing up, Saturn walking up and the two hugging
"I'm scared of you getting hurt" Saturn said "I'm scared of the Magic High Commission, and i'm Scared of Celestia"
"And Princess Luna" Glim chuckled, Saturn sighing and nodding at the comment
"Why in Equestria would you be afraid of Princess Celestia?" Rarity asked
"I don't want to kill anymore time, let's just say when you get a hole blasted through your chest and wake up in another timeline where some assholes are planning a forced usurp, shit'll mess with you. Only thing that was good about that was Fest" Saturn explained "So, do we have a plan? I don't trust any of you…except Star and Marco, but I still want to solve this if I can"
"Twilight suggested we split up and try to find their Starlight" Eclipsa said
"Alright, let's go, Fest, you're with your grandmother and aunt,, Twilight and Marco, Star is with Janna and Glim, finally Me, Rarity and Spike" Saturn said
"And why are you going with Rarity?" Glim questioned
"I wanted you to be the one to say it." Saturn replied "I don't think Rarity and Janna will work well"
"Yeah, Janna doesn't do preppy" Star said
"I see your point, but if you tw-" Saturn cut off Glim
"No, Babe, no" Saturn replied "Ok, let's go, who has a driver's license?"
"I have a learner's permit" Marco said
"I've hotwired before" Janna said
"What's a driver's license?" Eclipsa, Rarity, Twilight, Spike and Star asked
"Ok so it's between me and Janna and I don't want to drive" Saturn said, reaching in his pocket, tossing the keys to Janna
"Nice" Janna nodded
"THAT'S ILLEGAL!" Marco shouted
"And? It's the apocalypse your majesty" Saturn said before smirking "I have a princess Turdina figure next to my Violent J and mine"
"...Ok, let's just go" Marco muttered "Twilight, do you mind if I hitch a ride?" he asked
"Go right ahead" Twilight replied, lifting a wing, Marco climbing on and the two exiting the room
"Alright dear, are you ready?" Eclipsa asked, Festivia nodding and climbing out of her seat, picking up Meteora, the three butterflies leaving the room
"Ok, We're out" Saturn said, Rarity and Spike followed him as he exited the castle, Janna playing on her phone
"Janna. Are you ready?" Star asked
"Sure." she said getting up, the trio leaving the castle, and walking to the car, Janna unlocking it, Glim climbing into the back on the seats that were collapsed as Star sat in the passenger seat and Janna in the drivers seat, she put the key in the ignition and turned it, Star and Janna buckling up
"Alright, just try and not crash, can you do that for me?" Glim asked
"I haven't backed out of the driveway yet" Janna replied
"Yeah, well this is the only car we've got, I don't know if Saturn's got our bank account running, it's through pixtopia so" Glim explained
"It should be working, mine still is" Star explained, Janna backing out and then driving onto a dirt road that connected to a pavement one
"Ok, we have Fest's College savings and our vacation fund in there, i'm glad that isn't gone" Glim replied
"Space college still has tuition?" Janna asked
"I know, hopefully it isn't Citadel Harvard, But if Fest gets accepted I can't say no" Glim exposition to the two confused teenagers "Sorry, more multiverse stuff, I know it's alot"
"It's fine, Honestly I want to know more about your timeline, interdimensional stuff is normal here, intertimeline…Omnitraxus and Hekapoo could never figure it out" Star said
"Saturn's better at this stuff, he's been all over, he just stays in New York because that's where he feels at home" Glim explained
"New York? Ok now you have to tell me why New York'' Janna said with a smirk as she drove through town, the hodgepodge of different architecture was eye catching yet jarring
"Saturn's backstory is a lot like Meteora's, however in his original timeline St. Olga malfunctioned so Hekapoo decided to put him on Earth. Apparently Omnitraxus thought it'd be a better idea to fling him into the future, so that there was no chance of him getting back to Mewni." Glim explained "It seems like we're just explaining a bunch of stuff"
"Well, sometimes you have to when your timeline is cut off you have to" Star said "We don't mind, right Janna?"
"This is actually getting really good" Janna admitted
"What happened to that timeline's Grandma Festivia?" Star asked
"..." Glim sighed "Shit" she muttered "So Janna, you know how they had the French Revolution?" Janna's eyes widened
"She's a child" Janna said
"She was 30 when everything came out" Glim said
"Wait, what's a French revolution, Janna what's she talking about?" Star asked, the car growing silent "Starlight, what happened?"
"The Mewmans cut off her head for being a false queen" Glim explained, Star tearing up
"What?" Star asked
"Everything turned to chaos, Mewni fell apart afterwards" Glim explained "When Saturn was set to that other timeline where they swapped Fest with Meteora, He stopped the coupe, and they were just going to leave her on the street…Saturn wouldn't allow that, he didn't think Fest deserved that,he may like to act tough, but he's a big softie" The camera cutting away to Saturn, Rarity and Spike going door to door, humans opening their doors, seeing the trio then slamming and locking the door, this went on for multiple houses until they stopped at a house with an arched red ceiling, cactuses on the front lawn, Saturn and the group walking up, knocking on the door
A green orge like man with bat wings for ears answered the door, he wore a dark green tunic and was heavy set
"Hello" He said in a russian accent
"Hey, we're here to stop the goddamn dimensional merger from destroying life as we know it" Saturn replied "Do you have a moment Mr. Bulgulyubov"
"...If it is urgent yes" He replied, the group stepping in, Rarity wiping her hooves on the mat, multiple creatures mingling in the den
"Buff Frog, who's at the door?" a woman asked, she had light skin, long brown hair and wearing an orange dress walked up
"Miss Diaz" Saturn said "My Associates and I are looking for a certain somepony to reverse the Red Mist up there"
"...In your pajamas" She asked
"I was on my honeymoon when I was brought here, do you know where Starlight Glimmer is" Saturn asked
"Starlight? You mean the pony who stole everypony's cutie marks?" A Bubbly voice asked
"Pinkie?!" Saturn, Rarity and Spike asked as a pink mare with a darker pink mane and tail, both curly and bubbly, as well as blue eyes hopped over
"Pinkie, Darling, this is where you've landed?" Rarity asked
"Yep!" Pinkie said "Who's your friend"
"Saturn" He replied
"Pinkie, do you know where Starlight is?" Spike asked
"Hmmmm" She thought for a moment "Nope! But Firelight's over there" pointing to a dark purple unicorn stallion with a short cyan mane, wearing a maroon vest near a snack bar
"Who?" Rarity asked
"Perfect" Saturn nodded
"I dunno, I felt like it'd be important" Pinkie said "Gotta run, the snack bar needs more soda! Be right back Angie!"
"Thank you Pinkie!" The woman smiled as Pinkie hopped out of the door
"I'll handle this" Saturn replied, walking away from the group "Firelight Glimmer"
"...Yes?" He asked turning around and seeing Saturn
"Saturn? What's happening now" He asked, catching Saturn by surprise
"An incident, Mister Glimmer, I apologize….an alternate version of Glim and an Alternate Star caused a Dimensional Rift Merger" Saturn said, pointing to the red sky outside "The norse called it Ragnarok, The Krombopulis call it the crisis"
"I see" He sighed "Is that why I can't use magic?"
"Yeah, none of us can" Saturn replied "Pinkie just gave me a red harring. I guess you don't know where she is"
"I just saw her but she was acting…strange" Firelight replied "She went to town hall. If you can save my pumpki wump- I mean Glim"
"That's the main priority, sir" Saturn replied, walking back to the group
"Angie it was lovely meeting you but it seems Saturn has some information" Rarity said
"My Father in Law said she's in town hall" Saturn replied "It was great seeing you again, tell Raphael I said hi"
"Who are you?" Angie asked
"Don't worry about it" Saturn said, the trio leaving
"Wait, Father-in-law?" Spike asked "That's Starlight's father?"
"Yeah" Saturn nodded, the camera cutting away to Twilight and Marco who were going through another side of town asking unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies where Starlight was last
"We have no leads" Twilight sighed as Marco's pocket buzzed, he pulled out a phone and the camera went split screen, Glim on the other side with her phone
"Marco?" Glim asked
"Yes?" He replied
"Sorry, Star's handwriting isn't the clearest sometimes. Saturn has a lead, someone told him town hall" Glim replied "we'll be there soon….Janna wanted to stop for Tacos"
"...Classic Janna, alright, thank you Glim" Marco said hanging up "She's at Town hall"
"Town hall?" Twilight asked
"I'll lead the way," Marco replied, the two running off. The camera cutting to Festivia who was holding Meteora and Eclipsa searching a plaza that had a small marble building in the middle
"Have you found anything?" Fest asked
"Not yet" Eclipsa sighed, the van pulling up and parking, the doors opening as Janna, Star and Glim exited with bags of fast food, Marco and Twilight running up to the group from the distance
"We didn't get you two anything" Janna replied
"Yes we did, Janna." Glim replied "But that isn't the point, she's in the City Council building"
"So, we're waiting for dad and then we're going in?" Fest asked
"No, We don't know who's in there" Glim replied "I wasn't the greatest pony kiddo."
"But you are now…" Festivia replied, the two hugging as Saturn walked up with Rarity who had Spike on her back
"You guys got tacos?" Saturn asked
"We got you a burrito" Janna replied, handing him a bag, Saturn reaching in and grabbing a tinfoil wrapped burrito which he opened, walking to the car, opening the glovebox to show a box
Of many, many CD's and a thing of sugar
"You put sugar on your burritos too?" Star asked
"Learned from the best" Saturn replied, pouring some sugar over his burrito and taking a bite, Rarity being taken aback and disgusted
"Yeah, you get used to it sister" Glim said to Rarity
"Ok, Let's go stop a psychopathic communist unicorn" Saturn said, still eating the burrito
"Ahem" Glim muttered
"I love you Glim, but you're scary as fuck" Saturn added, the group walking up the steps of the city council building
