Chapter 5 "A Yaz thought"

Yaz, Ben, and Blue Junior were heading back to the watering hole John and Firecracker were the only ones in the back "Firecracker is so usually outgoing but she's keeping to herself." Yaz said.

"I get it this is the biggest group she's ever been with. It always took me to adjust to a large group remember how I was when I first got to Camp Cretaceous?" Ben asked.

"You mean how we both were." Yaz laughed.

"I guess it's a good thing I had Bumpy and you had Sammy." Ben said.

Yaz had a small weird look "Yup our best friends." she said.

Angel pushed Ben a bit Scar and Omega were nuzzling each other as they walked "But have you ever thought that maybe you wanted to be more than Best friends?" Yaz asked.

"Um Yaz Bumpy's a dinosaur I just don't think it would work." Ben said.

"Oh right of course." Yaz said.

She walked away Ben had a confused look before he quickly realized "Oh you're talking about Sammy!" Ben said.

Yaz had a nervous look on her face "It just I've had crushes on boys before so I know what's that like but I think I might feel that way about Sammy." Yaz said.

Ben and Blue Junior smiled for her Yaz was just nervous "So..." Yaz said.

"So?" Ben asked.

"So I don't know what to think. It's the first time I said this out loud because there's no one I can talk to about it, because normally, I'd go to Sammy but I can't, because, duh this is about her and..." Yaz said.

She just walked away in frustration she sat on a log with Ben sitting besides her "Feelings am I right?" Ben asked.

"Why do they have to be so complicated?" Yaz asked.

Blue Junior walked to Yaz concerned for her "Looks like Blue Junior feels the same way." Ben said.

The raptor nuzzles Yaz she petted his head Blue Junior noticed something his pack was missing. Yaz also noticed something odd "Where's Firecracker?" Yaz asked.

Yaz, Ben, and Blue Junior searched for the missing dinosaurs "Firecracker? Where are you girl?" Ben called out. Blue Junior saw her running into the biome exit he roared to the others "Ben behind you!" Yaz called out.

Ben tried grabbing Firecracker but he was too late he couldn't get her in time out of nowhere John, Scar, and Omega followed her.

At the watering hole Sammy tried to fill the drain to get more water but nothing worked she figured if she can get into the tunnels and pour more water into the watering hole in the tree the Shadow Knight was watching her he growled Sammy looked up but she couldn't see him because he has a device that is able to make him blend into the background.

She climbed up the mountain and entered the tunnels the Shadow Knight followed her.

In the swamp biome Yaz was simply looking at the ground Blue Junior was walking behind her Ben looked behind him "So either you're searching for baby Brachy footprints or you still got a lot on your mind?" Ben asked.

"Both I guess but mostly the second one." Yaz said.

Blue Junior rubbed his head against Yaz's neck still concerned for her feelings.

"If you could talk to Sammy what would you say?" Ben asked.

Yaz didn't answer "I'll start." Ben said.

He began speaking like Sammy "Yaz darling I'm Sammy and talking's my thing." Ben tried his best to mimic Sammy.

"That sounds nothing like Sammy." Yaz said.

"It sounded a lot better in my head." Ben said.

Before they could continue Blue Junior found his pack and Firecracker.

Back in the tunnels Sammy spotted a BRAD X scanning the tunnels she found a pipe that could flow more water into the watering hole she successfully flow the water out into the watering hole she cheered but the BRAD X spotted her "UNAUTHORIZED LIFE FORM DETECTED." the BRAD X said.

"Yeah I get it." Sammy said.

Just as the BRAD X was about to blast her a small laser beam was targeted at its head "UNAUTHORIZED LIFE FORM DETECTED." a voice echoed the BRAD X lines.

A powerful energy blast destroyed the BRAD X by blowing it's head off its body. Sammy back up scared of what just happened. Sammy saw the figure it wasn't visible but she could see the lines around its body it she saw how it was cloaked "You're welcome." the Shadow Knight said.

"Thanks?" Sammy said, unsure on how to thank him.

"You should go back to the others after all Darius and Brooklyn wouldn't be so kind." the Shadow Knight said.

"What?" Sammy asked.

"The wizard will tell you." he said.

"What's your name?" Sammy asked.

"Name's Ghost." Ghost revealed his name to Sammy.

Logan Strongstaff was meditating he saw a vision Darius and Brooklyn was speaking to Kenji.

"So guy good to see ya." Kenji said.

"I don't think so." Darius said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever I got an offer for you two." Kenji said.

"What kind?" Brooklyn asked.

"Help me with the dinosaurs and we can use the collider to recreate the universe and make the way we want them to be." Kenji offered.

"What guarantee do you have that this won't destroy us all?" Darius asked.

"I've seen what can happen if use the collider a universe where all of us were friends and the dinosaurs never existed again." Kenji said.

Brooklyn took a deep breath "Deal." she said.

"Same here." Darius said.

Logan Strongstaff opened his eyes "No." he said.

Everyone were doing their own things Logan Strongstaff used a ability allowing him to create a fire mirror hologram of himself to the others "Yaz, Sammy, Ben we've got a problem Darius and Brooklyn has joined forces with Kenji to destroy this universe and remake in their own image." Logan Strongstaff said to everyone.

"What?" the three asked.

"Just get back to the Watering Hole!" Logan Strongstaff said.

Sammy made it back but they had to wait for Yaz and Ben. Logan Strongstaff returned but Ghost appeared the two locked eye on each other knowing what the two want.
