Instead of a nine year old named Laddie, it's a eight year old girl name Lannie that is half-vampire in the Lost Boys. After the Lost Boys died but didn't get dusted like Max, Lannie is given to her biological father, Charlie Swan.

Instead of Laddie being a nine year old boy, he is a eight year old girl named Lannie. After the Lost Boys had been killed but not dusted and Max being dusted, Lannie was giving to Charlie Swan, who is her biological father. For the seven years, Lannie grew up with her father but wanted nothing to do with her mother or older sister. When the Cullens leave after Bella's 18th birthday, Lannie and her boyfriend Lucas leave Forks and go to Santa Carla where she runs into the newly revived Lost Boys.
