This is a one-shot based on a prompt challenge on Berry Picking for the Sunday Serge Nathan Grant Fan Fiction Playground. This story reveals a wonderful day that Nana Charlie has with her family.

Elizabeth Thornton is dating Nathan Grant, her deceased husband's partner. However, she doesn't feel any sparks for him and he's in love with his current partner, Fiona. She knows love and knows that she won't settle for anything less than sparks. Lucas Bouchard just moved to town and is raising his daughter alone. After his wife died, he hasn't thought about dating. Until now.

"I've met charmers like him before. The flower soon withers on the vine." Elizabeth said those words to Abigail shortly after Lucas' arrival in Hope Valley. About a year of marriage and Elizabeth starts to realize the truth of those words. However, when she finally hits rock bottom, the hand held out to her in love is one of the last ones she would expect.

This story takes place after season 8, but I have completely changed the storylines for the characters in season 8 and season 9.

This is the story of how Nathan rescued Little Jack and his visit to Fort Clay. He had to move on from Elizabeth and other new characters came into his life. They all avert catastrophe and they are forced to test how they feel now that we venture into season 9 and beyond. It's not going to be easy. I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.

How o wanted things to end for Lee and Rosemary at the end of season nine

This story follows Nathan Grant (and Hope Valley) after the end of season 8 of When Calls the Heart, beginning a new chapter in his life. It highlights his personal and professional successes as well as puts an end to any remnants of a "triangle". No one with a beard holding a tea cup is given the time of day, so don't waste your time.

This is a one shot that was written as part of the Nathan Grant Fanfiction Challenge. Nathan and Bill team to solve a problem and realize that it was much more then either realized.

A sequel to A Father's Love and should be read following that story.
