Here is My new ongoing Lucabeth story. This story begins in the library at the end of season 8 and will continue on for many chapters. Disclaimer: I do not own the rights to any of these characters. This is one take on how season 8 SHOULD have gone. Elizabeth's eyes are opened by an incident at the saloon and a chance encounter with Constable Grant. Word of caution- I despise Lucas, so his character developement will be far from flattering.

After a brief time in Hope Valley, Constable Nathan Grant took a posting to Inspector and moved to Union City. He thought the possiblities he had left behind had ended when he left Hope Valley. A little over two years later, Nathan is discovering that might not be the case after all. Stays with the events of the show through "Home For Christmas". After that, it is AU.

In the summer of 1919 on the anniversary of their first date, Elizabeth recreates the night with Lucas with the help of Gustave. They add a new memory to the night with a dance and they exchange their first ILYs. This is a one chapter short story

This is one shot that was part of a Nathan Grant fanfiction challenge. We were given a text and had had to create a story. Will Nathan solve the mystery that he is facing without causing too much turmoil.

After Season 8 of WCTH I was contemplating Lucabeth and their future together. I began "hearing" Lucas in my head and one day I sat down and wrote a letter to Elizabeth, she wrote back and before the evening was up I had six letters. This is what I saw happening after season 7 ended and after some season 8 spoilers started being announced. With season 8 already airing I know that this not accurate to the current story line regarding Nathan and Elizabeth's love and families.

Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell.
