this is just the prologue for what I have intentions of making into a one-shot fanfiction about the 'Mystery Incorporated' Scooby Doo series from 2022, which now that I'm writing this was actually supposed to air in 2020, but production did not have enough to start it by then due to COVID-19 or something else that had to do with the Corona Virus. I promise that I will eventually post the real fanfiction eventually, as soon as I finally finish it. I'm just working on it for now. this prologue of a preview chapter is three-hundred-twenty-eight words worth of itself, though not including the headnote, right here, nor the disclaimer following this headnote.
disclamation: I do not own the 'Scooby Doo' characters, not one of them. all ownership rights to 'Scooby Doo' are reserved for Joseph Ruby and Kenneth Spears as well as William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. the 'Mystery Incorporated' series of 2022 is owned by Dante Yore, Dade Elza and Jessica Chancellor. yes, I know Dade and Jessica are Fred and Daphne in the 'Mystery Incorporated-2022' Scooby Doo series, respectively. but, those two are also co-producers of the series and dating in real life. I know, just like it was with Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar in the 'Scooby-Doo' of 2002 and its sequel from 2004, 'Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed'. what a couple of couples to be together in real life as well as on stage. you'd think that the characters of Fred Jones and Daphne Blake would just start going out, already. OK, enough with the couple stuff. it's time for this prologue to get done. the real story will come shortly afterwards in the second chapter. this story is just a one-shot that's merely disguised as a two-shot, you know.
This is just something that I came up with in my sleep after watching certain scenes in the pilot episode of the newest 'Scooby Doo' series on YouTube under the title of 'Mystery Incorporated'. The pilot episode bore the title of 'Welcome to Coolsville'. It's a lot like all of the previous incarnations of 'Scooby Doo', only it's in just about the same vein as mystery/suspense and drama shows like that of 'Riverdale' and 'Supernatural'.
This happens to take place sometime after that pilot episode with Daphne and her boyfriend, Seth. Daphne had originally only joined the rest of the Scooby Doo gang to get over not being chosen for the title of the Homecoming Queen when she pretty much torpedoed her chances at the title, even when she was just trying to protect her 'ungrateful' opponent from embarrassing herself after Daphne's boyfriend, Seth, tried to have his girlfriend win the Homecoming Queen's crown by drugging said opponent, Ophelia.
Needless to say, Daphne's efforts the endeavor of trying to protect her rather 'ungrateful' opponent wound up thankless to her, especially since Ophelia won the title of Homecoming Queen. Sure, Seth was disappointed that his own girlfriend did not accept his ways of helping her with her campaign for the title of Homecoming Queen. If you ask me, though, having to share the King and Queen's spotlight dance with his girlfriend's opponent, Ophelia, certainly would have served him right for the way he tried to have his own girlfriend win the crown. I say that especially considering that Ophelia turns out to have more in common with Seth than his own girlfriend, Daphne, does.
Do not misunderstand my reasons for writing this fanfiction. I am only writing it in anticipation for the rest of the series to air on YouTube. That is the undeniable truth. I am only writing this fanfiction because I already want more of the 'Mystery Incorporated' series on YouTube, the pilot episode was so good.
