AN: This is my first fanfic for Star Wars & the Rey x Jyn ship. I really hope that y'all will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. Now on with the story.

Jyn felt something weird as the blast of the planet exploded all around her and Cassian, she thought that dying would feel a lot different than what she actually felt at that moment. She opened her eyes just for a second, her eyes widening in shock as she saw that she was about to the ground, which she knew had to be impossible. But the force of the impact and the bruises that were forming on her body proved to be all too real. The last thing she thought before Jyn's vision turned completely black was that she hoped she would be found soon.

The Imperial shuttle landed nearly a mile from where Jyn was lying unconscious on the ground, clothes torn up in several places from the way she had fallen out of the portal that had brought her doors of the shuttle opened, allowing four officers to walk out of it and towards Jyn. The two men and two women peered down at her.
"Who is that? Is she important to the Empire?" One of the men, Junior Lieutenant Dylrola Lindpat said with a scowl as he poked at one of her feet with the toe of his boot to make sure she was still out cold. The last thing he wanted was to get killed or knocked out.
"I think she's Jyn Erso, if I'm not mistaken. Which shouldn't be possible since she supposedly died back on Scarif. Let's take her with us. We might be able to use her for something in the future. Put her in one of our cryo-pods." Commander Emilama Towwig stated, she bent down to pick Jyn up under her arms while her men helped by picking up her feet so that didn't drag on the ground. Several minutes later, Jyn was aboard the shuttle and inside of a cryo-pod for the time being that was in the medbay.

It was in the middle of the day as Rey Skywalker used the Force to peel back the front doors to what was a facility that the Galactic Empire had once used as storage for their most important items. She found some files pointing to the facility and she decided to check it out. Rey had contacted both Poe and Finn to help her, they had already gotten inside through another entrance. She took out a flashlight to use until she could turn the power on, which didn't take her longer than five minutes.
There were shelves and more shelves seeming to go on forever throughout the entire place. Rey had never seen so many before. She went to the nearest computer to find a directory. It would definitely help her. She eventually did find it. What she hoped to find were supplies of food and water, possibly clothes that weren't military issue. Rey used her new comlink.
"Finn, Poe, have you guys found anything yet? I'll go deeper into this place." Rey said, slipping her comlink back into her pocket after her friends replied back to her. After what felt like forever, she found herself standing in front of an unmarked door, she turned on her lightsaber, the hum of the blade calming her nerves, she destroyed the door by cutting it in two. Which fell to the floor with a loud metallic thud.
Rey walked into the room, her eyes widening as she realized what the room was used for; cryo-pods. She searched all of them, most of them were either empty or the people who were inside them had already died quite a long time ago. Except for one, a very pretty young woman who was around Rey's age. She used her comlink once more.
"Hey, guys. I got something I think you two would really want to see." Rey told the two men. Less than ten minutes later, Poe and Finn came walking towards her. They both stared wide-eyed at the cryo-pod. She knew that neither man had expected to find what she ended up finding that day.
"Rey, Finn, I know who this is. She's Jyn Erso. She's one of the people who got the plans for the first Death Star. Everyone thought she had died decades ago, but I guess she didn't. I think we should get her back on the ship and wake her up." Poe said, hoping that she'll be okay. She's been in the pod for a very long time.
"You're right, let's do it." Finn replied and Rey nodded. It took quite a bit of hard for the three of them to get the cryo-pod with Jyn inside into the Falcon, which was parked just behind the building. The pod was soon hooked up to the ship and it would actually be ready to open in just a few hours.

AN2: And that's the end of this first chapter. I'll try to update most of my current fanfics in the coming months with brand new chapters, which includes this new fanfic.
