Thank you for the Fav/Follows and reviews!
I picked a random prompt from the three that I got (I promise I will try to write everyone's). This is "Five overreacts and bonds with Klaus".
-Not Alone-
He was tired.
But every time he closes his eyes he would be greeted by an image of fire and destruction.
While it had been longer for everyone else, it was mere weeks for him. Going from one apocalypse to another, and now he was trying to figure out the kugelblitz. His siblings, however, didn't seem to understand the dire need to figure things out.
He stared at the mirror in the lobby of the Hotel that he started writing out calculations on, using Lila's lipstick.
"It's all wrong," he muttered.
It would probably help if the numbers would stop dancing in his vision. He rubbed his eyes again and looked up at the equation.
Nope. That definitely didn't help.
He sighed as he looked over at the bar and resigned himself to drinking a bit and circling back to this.
Everyone was present and accounted for, even with tensions being a bit high. Allison was being moody by the bar, Klaus was with Viktor, Diego and Lila at a table, and Luther and Sloane were talking in the corner.
He went over to the bar and waved his hand to get the bartender's attention. Allison glanced over at him. "You figure anything out?" She asked, directly.
He shook his head as he took a seat two down from her. "I couldn't look at the numbers anymore. They were beginning to move on me." He rubbed his eyes in frustration. What was he missing?
"So it's hopeless," she commented, going back to her drink.
He shot a look at her, and she hesitated for a moment, noticing the dark circles under his eyes. She almost wanted to press him about sleep, but that probably would not have gone over well.
He was about to order something when there was a crash behind him.
He jumped and whirled around, his heart racing.

No one could have predicted what happened next. Klaus' was trying to do the good thing, which would be to clear the plates and bring them back. Instead his balancing act was cut short and two of the dishes had slipped from his arms to the ground. He groaned.
"I guess you're not made to be a waiter," Lila commented.
He was about to respond back when suddenly Five was in front of him, grabbing him by his shirt and pushing him back, causing the other dishes to crash to the floor. This only seemed to make Five angrier.
"What do you think you are doing?" Five shouted at him.
"Woah, Fivey," Klaus held up his, now empty, hands in defense. "The plates slipped."
"You can't even hang onto plates, how can you be expected to help with anything?" 'The Boy' growled.
"Hey, Five," Viktor interjected. "That's uncalled for."
Five shoved him back, but not before Klaus glimpsed the 'absent' look in Five's sleep-deprived eyes. He whirled on Viktor, hands clenched. "Uncalled for? You are too busy trying to figure out ways to protect your little friend, meanwhile the world is ending on us. Again."
"Five, you need to back up," Luther stood and started over.
"And back down," Diego warned.
"Or what? What will you two lugs do?" Five challenged.
"Look, fighting amongst ourselves isn't going to help," Viktor said, calmly.
"You need a drink," Lila offered.
"I was just on my way to get one, but then I realized I'm the only one really trying to do anything here," he snapped.
"Five, we are trying to come up with a plan," Luther indicated to Sloane. "When it comes to the Sparrows."
"They aren't the ones we really need to concern ourselves with at the moment, so clearly you just want more time and some excuse to stare into each other's puppy-dog eyes."
That got a snort from Allison over at the bar.
"Alright, Five. Enough," Diego said sharply.
"Five…when did you last sleep?" Klaus finally asked, recognizing the crashing point that makes one implode or explode. Five glanced at him, almost surprised by this inquiry.
"I…uh…I…I'm the only one who can figure this out right now."
"Not if you're not getting the rest you need," Klaus tried to reach out to put a comforting hand on Five's shoulder, but (as expected) he pushed it away. Five went to push him, but Diego caught a hold of him. Five wriggled back out of his grasp and gestured to the lipstick-marked mirror.
"Go ahead! Go look at the numbers. See if there is anything any of you can contribute. Tell me I need to 'back down' when someone else takes a moment to actually do something helpful." He gasped out.
"How helpful is this?" Allison offered, slowly getting up from the bar, but keeping her drink in hand. "I heard a rumor…" Five spun to her, mouth open to protest, but it was too late, "...That you fell asleep."
His eyes flashed white, and then closed as his body dropped.
Both Klaus and Diego grabbed at him so he didn't just crash to the floor.
"You couldn't have done that soone?" Diego asked Allison. She gave him a tilt of her head as she pursed her lips. He looked at Klaus who was studying Five's sleeping face. Diego followed his gaze and saw it too. "When did he get so pale? He was just relaxing a couple of days ago without a worry in the world."
"He found something to worry about," Lila responded. "I do admit, the old Tosser doesn't look too well.
Viktor glanced over at the mirror with all the red numbers. "I don't even know what he's trying to calculate. I could never follow his mind…"
"No, but you used to be able to quiet it," Luther told him. "With music or just by letting him vent it all out…"
Viktor shook his head, "That was years ago. And even longer ago for us."
Klaus awkwardly lifted Five up from under his arms. "Anyone want to give me a hand here? I want to put him down in the room."
Diego sighed and got to the other side of him.

Five woke up, blinking in the light of the room. He was back in the boys room of the hotel. He felt better rested…
How did I get here? He frowned, slowly sitting up. We were arguing in the lounge area and then…
He glanced next to him, startled by some movement. Klaus was sitting on the couch parallel to him, looking through some magazine. Five's movement made The Séance look his way.
"Oh! You're awake!" He put down the magazine and stood up, cautiously making his way over to Five's side.
"Was this Allison?" Five asked him. There was a blank in his memory, which was usually a side effect of a rumor. His sister never really used that on him in the past, but the few times he remembered this sensation.
Klaus nodded and sat on the bed next to Five. "You were spiraling," he said softly. "You were lashing out, you were pale, I could go shopping with the size of the bags under your eyes. We…we were worried Five." Some more than others, he thought. However, he didn't need to voice that.
"I…I need to get back," Five started to move himself out of the bed, and around his brother. Klaus could sense how uncomfortable he was just at the mention of him being the source of worry.
"You need to slow down," Klaus enforced, putting a hand on Five's shoulder. This time Five didn't push him away. "Look, I get it. The world is ending. It's a Typical Tuesday for us. But if you burn out, you're not going to take care of anyone."
"It won't get done otherwise."
Klaus studied Five, who was staring at the wall. He still looked tired, but not sick. "I agree," Klaus said cautiously. "It won't. No one else can do it besides you and maybe Dad. But sometimes…" he stood up and put himself in front of his brother, clasping his hands together. "Sometimes I feel you are still mentally in your other life. Years of the apocalypse, years of being a trained killer…always taking care of yourself and out of any habit of asking for help."
Five looked at him, stunned. His eyes then drifted down, confirming the truth behind Klaus' words.
Klaus kneeled in front of him so he could catch his eye.
"Look, I get it. I do. Despite what you may think or want to think. I turned to drugs and alcohol to silence and run away from my abilities. And, after a while, I felt more like a burden to everyone, so I wouldn't ask for help. Which only caused me to crash and burn every time, and then I was a burden because someone had to come get me or help me. But you know what? Our siblings? They may have complained and scolded, but they helped every time. Because that's what family does. Our family. Our stupid, sloppy, messed up family. The family you came back for. Let us help you where you need it, so you can continue to be the smart asshole that we love."
Five stared at him. "Wow…Klaus…" He didn't know what to say.
"You have been going non-stop. Jumping from apocalypse to apocalypse. What has been years for some of us has been mere weeks to you," Klaus got back on the bed next to Five. "But you aren't going to be able to do this alone. You couldn't the last two times. So while we can't help with your numbers, let us help you."
Five sighed. "I admit I am not the best when it comes to asking for any assistance… with anything."
"See? Admitting you have a problem. That's the first step to recovery, you know. Now let's go get some food in you and then you can get back to your numbers. But only until bedtime. You can't keep denying yourself sleep.
"Klaus…"
"If you think I won't have Allison or Lila rumor you again for the sake of your health, you are soooo wrong about that."
Five gave a small nod and stood up and Klaus stood with him.
"Thanks," Five said softly, with a small, appreciative smile.
"You're welcome," Klaus returned the smile.
They headed out of the room.
"You know, Klaus, you'd make a really good mother."
"I know, right?"
Thank you for reading (if you got this far). I hope I did the request some justice. I'm open to suggestions (again, I do not do SA stories, so please don't request).
Until next time!
