Aunt May's House

3:30 PM

"Sakura. Tell me about yourself." Aunt May said kindly. Both she and Sakura were at a table while Peter attempted to cook. Peter had already introduced Sakura to Aunt May earlier when he arrived home and why she was there.

"Well, I like to travel the world. Believe it or not, I've been to America a few times before." Sakura said.

"Really?"

Sakura nodded in confirmation. "But it was never related to my studies like this is. It was always for martial arts and fighting. I've had two teachers. Dan Hibiki and Ryu. While I think both are great, Ryu is the best. He's the reason I got into martial arts." She explained before turning red. "Though, I have to admit he's not exactly my teacher as he told me he's still learning himself. But, I always try to find him whenever I have the time. His wisdom and philosophies are something that I want to live by too."

"Martial arts. Is that something you want to pursue once you graduate?" Aunt May asked.

"Actually, I want to be a PE teacher once I graduate. However, I want to pass down what I've learned in street fighting and martial arts to other generations."

"Balancing your training with school. Sounds tough." Peter said.

"It may seem tough, but if you find a balance and work hard, it's nothing!" Sakura said confidently.

"Wish I could be as positive as she is." Peter thought, noting how tough it is to balance a life as Spider-Man and his normal life.

Sakura and Aunt May kept talking but Peter drowned them out and got lost in his thoughts. "Speaking of Spider-Man, wonder if they found anything with those cards. Don't know how I'm going to be able to give Sakura the slip when I do have to leave as Spider-Man." He then remembered the pictures he took of the high-speed chase this morning.

"I totally forgot about those pictures! The Daily Bugle's probably the only way I'll be able to leave without her possibly following me. Even if I do have to hear Jameson yelling at me." Peter thought.

Suddenly, a burning sensation is what got him to get out of his thoughts. "Ouch."

"Peter, are you sure you can handle this?" Aunt May asked.

"Yeah. Just burned myself a bit." He replied.

5:12 PM

Peter began to set down the food. "Alright. Everybody dig in!" Peter said. The food he cooked was a lamb casserole, meatloaf, and broccoli.

The food look promising.

"You did great Peter! I'm impressed!" Aunt May said, being the first one to speak up after a few minutes.

"Thanks." Peter said.

"Although the casserole and meatloaf are slightly overcooked."

"Sorry. Noted for next time." Peter said.

"Must have been when I got lost in my thoughts." He thought.

Sakura gave a thumbs up as she continued eating.

Peter was the first one to leave out of the three.

"Sorry I won't be able to finish with you guys. Got to take pictures to the Daily Bugle." Peter said.

"I understand. I'll keep Sakura company while you're gone! Just don't be gone for too long!" Aunt May said.

"I'll do my best. But I can't any promises." Peter thought.

Daily Bugle

"Here are the pictures Mr. Jameson." Peter said.

"You're late." He said. A lot calmer than Peter thought.

"Hopefully I can get these out before anyone else does. If not, I'm blaming you for it!" Jameson said.

"There's the Jameson I know." Peter thought.

"Unless there's something else you need, there's no reason for you to be here! Don't come back unless you've got more pictures of Spider-Man!"

Once he leaves the Bugle, Peter finds a place to change into Spider-Man.

Abandoned Subway, Turtle's Lair

When the turtles heard footsteps, they turned to see that it was Spider-Man.

"I did say I'd be back didn't I?" Spider-Man said. "What did you guys find?" He asked, getting right down to business.

He sat and gathered in a group with the four ninjas, April, Casey and Splinter.

"Those cards are tarot cards. Each card tells the trajectory of life that the person on each card is headed." Leo explained.

"I won't go into too much detail but to sum it up, yours was the Star, a card that represents faith and hope, my card represented fulfillment, Mikey's represents success and joy, Raph's represents strength and Donnie's represents skill and creation." Leo said.

"One of our enemies, Stockman was on one of the cards as well." Donnie said.

"Shredder was there too, but his card represented needless sacrifice, which I'd say fit him perfectly. He gave a lot, including his own life, just to destroy us only for it to end in failure." He added.

"We believe Stockman was the evil the fortuneteller was talking about." Leo said.

"Fortuneteller? You mean the ones you see in the street?" Spider-Man asked.

"As unbelievable as it sounds, every one of the cards that we saw matched all of us perfectly." Leo said.

"Master Splinter was the one that believed she was a fortuneteller." Mikey said.

"Think about it: Mikey: success in the Battle Nexus tournament. Raph and his strength, and how willing he is to always speak his mind. Leo and his time with the Ancient One, conquering his fears. Karai and how she's trying to move the Foot Clan, and herself away from the image her father left behind. Even Casey and April, and how they're married. We've never met her before and yet it's as if we have. Plus, it's not like we haven't seen things out of the ordinary. Besides ourselves, that is. The ninja tribunal is one example." Donnie explained.

"So if it's this Stockman guy, then where do we start in finding him?" Spider-Man asked.

"That's the part we haven't figured out yet. We haven't seen him since the last time we fought him on Mutant Island. He hasn't done anything to show that he's making a move. Which for someone like him is dangerous." Donnie said.

"As annoyin' as Stockman is, he's on a different level compared to that idiot Hun." Raph said.

"Remember the security system Hun had? And those robots that could look like us? Both of those were his work." Donnie said.

"He used to work with Hun, for the Shredder and with Agent Bishop. Though he has seen better days. I used to work for him back when he still had Stocktronic Industries." April said.

"And it's all because of the Shredder's punishments. The guy got reduced to nothing but a brain. Heck, he was even a bug at one point. Which fits. He's like that one fly that refuses to die." Mikey said.

"Like I said. He's annoyin'." Raph said.

"Sounds like Otto. But if the guy was reduced to a brain, how exactly was he able to keep getting around?" Spidey asked.

"Bishop. When he worked with him, he was able to put his mind in a robot to project himself and his thoughts, using his intelligence to help him." Donnie explained.

"Yea. One of which was causin' an outbreak in New York that we had to clean up." Raph said, folding his arms. "Somehow the guy always finds a way to come back and stay on our shells as many times as the Shredder has. He was able to stay alive in the future too."

"The only thing we can do now is keep an eye out for anything suspicious. We talked to Karai earlier today and she told us she'd let us know is she found anything." Leo said.

"Then it looks like I'll do the same." Spidey said. "I'll keep in touch." He said before getting ready to leave the sewer.

He started swinging, but not towards home. Towards the Omega Burger restaurant.

"Just gonna take a bit of a detour." He said out loud.

From a building overhead, he saw Eddie at the drive-thru handing someone an order. He made sure that he was in a place where he couldn't be seen. Once he saw that Eddie was doing okay, he swung off towards home. It was 12 days since it was due for him to pay everything he owed for his apartment. Unfortunately, he couldn't pay off everything he owed, so the landlord had no choice but to send out an eviction notice. Thankfully though, he was able to find somewhere relatively cheap until he could find a better job. Peter checked on him several times to make sure he was doing alright. And every time he seemed fine. Since Eddie came back, Peter made it his mission to make sure he didn't lose it again.

Satisfied, he swung back to Aunt May's house.

9:55 PM

Aunt May's House

Peter and Sakura were studying together. They had been doing so for over an hour. Once 10:00 PM hit, Peter said that now would be a good time to call it quits. Plus, he always likes to keep an eye out on what's going on in the news. He always felt it's a good idea for him (Spider-Man) to be in the know on what's happening in case something comes up that he could possibly prevent.

"Earlier this morning, a high-speed chase was put to an end, thanks to the efforts of New York's very own Spider-Man. The assailants have been put behind bars and are being charged with reckless endangerment, destruction of property and theft." The anchorman said.

"Spider-Man? Awesome!" Sakura said.

"I'm not surprised you know about him considering you've been to America a couple of times." Peter said.

"Know about him? I took a picture with him!" Sakura said.

"Funny. I don't remember ever doing that." Peter thought.

"When was this?" Peter asked.

"It was a little over a year ago. I know it's hard to believe but… there was this monster that attacked. So a bunch of superheroes and villains teamed up to stop it. It would have been the end of everything if we didn't. Some were from other worlds, some from the future, some from other universes. Once we stopped it, I got to take a picture with Spider-Man as a memento." She said before getting the picture from her backpack. Once she returned, she showed the picture to him.

"Wow" was all Peter could say.

"Definitely looks like my handiwork." He thought.

"And there was the fight against Apocalypse before that." She added.

"Hard to believe huh?" Sakura asked.

"When you're in the same state as the Avengers and what they have to fight, this isn't that hard to believe." Peter said.

"Had to have been me from an alternate universe." Peter said.

"Just don't let my boss J Jonah Jameson know you took a picture with him. He'll do everything he can to tell you that he's a menace to New York." Peter said, grinning.

Sakura raised an eyebrow.

He then went to give her a newspaper. "Believe it or not, not everyone's on the Spider-Man fan club like you are." The Daily Bugle showed pictures of Spider-Man and how he was claimed to be a menace, one of the pictures including him fighting in the Empire State University during his last team-up with the turtles, Static and The Saturdays against Hun and the Purple Dragons.

"Why? Look at all the good he's done for the people here." Sakura asked.

"He's against a lot of superpowered vigilantes in general. Doesn't matter who they are. The Avengers. The Fantastic Four. All of them. Even though he's against mutant discrimination, I'm surprised he hasn't said anything about the X-Men. Says they're not real heroes compared to policeman, firemen, astronauts, etcetera. Basically, you wear a mask and you're in New York, expect to be smeared by Jonah." He then hands her a newspaper that had Captain America on it that slandered him. "Captain America was replaced by a shapeshifting Skrull. The Avengers, the President, even S.H.I.E.L.D. had said that wasn't the real Cap and he didn't believe it."

She puts down the newspaper. "And you work for him?"

"It pays. And besides, as much as I disagree with him, he isn't all bad." Peter said. "Where would JJ be without my pictures of Spider-Man?" He added as he looked at one of the Daily Bugle newspapers.

Unknown, Shadaloo Facility

"This guy don't look so tough." A man said, sifting through and looking at the newspapers of Spider-Man as the news played in the background. One of them being the same newspapers that Peter looked at. His feet were up on a table. He was a muscular, African-American man with a short haircut, a ripped blue shirt and a white tank-top underneath with matching boxer shorts. Boxing gloves were on the table next to the newspapers.

"It would serve you to be quiet." Another man said. This man was slimmer with long hair that was braided into a ponytail. He was wearing matador's clothing; ceremonial trousers, a red sash, loafers and white leggings. The other man bit his tongue. But only to hear what someone else had to say.

"The power he has is not something to be underestimated. Speed, strength, skill. I shall have this for myself! Capture him and secure his body! By any means necessary! Let no one stand in your way!" A voice said. It appeared to be coming from some sort of canister.

"To further ensure that you two do not fail, I have assigned one of my dolls to assist you on this task. I have also supplied you with this experimental synthetic android, technology courtesy of the Foot Clan. I have been told that field testing for it is needed. And what better field testing than a real mission?" The voice said.

"Must not have a lot of faith in us if you're sending in a hunk of junk with us." The muscular man said.

"I can assure you that this is no 'hunk of junk' Balrog." The voice said.

"Vega. Balrog. Gather your belongings. You will fly to New York tomorrow." The voice said.

"Yes, sir, Master Bison!" The doll saluted.

"Consider the mission done." Vega, the Spanish assassin said. "I promise to not hurt him. Too much."

"A trip to NY. This is gonna be fun." Balrog, the boxer and assassin said.

"Mission….. Start." A voice said, approaching the three assasins. A red-eyed reflection showed from a figure. But from where he was standing, none of his body could be seen.

12:00 AM

A computer screen said 100% on it.

"Begin Phase 2." Otto Octavious said.

A/N: Avengers:EMH and Spectacular Spider-Man, with this story, take place in the same universe. Even when I first started re-watching Avengers:EMH a while back I always had the headcanon that they took place in the same universe. Probably because they were imo, the best animated iterations of each. Turns out, this was originally supposed to be the case before it got changed to a general Spider-Man. Plus, Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3 had all of those voice actors from those shows too. The X-Men in EMH are not the ones from Wolverine and the X-Men. Josh Fine, the producer of both shows said himself that with the failed renewal of the second season of Wolverine and the X-Men, he didn't want the show to be closely tied to it. So there's a loose interpretation of whether the shows are in the same continuity or not. In other words, it is up to each fan of whether they want it to be in the same universe or not.

The Spider-Man in the VS games, while voiced by Josh Keaton in 3 was a different universe Spider-Man. This was evidenced by the endings in Marvel Super Heroes, and Marvel VS Street Fighter. Both showed him being married to Mary Jane, which is why this Spidey doesn't recognize the picture Sakura has.
